This park is a little gem in the heart of Tacoma. The trails wind through the space nicely and off a "your of trees." Many have name plaques along with the date planted, which is a nice touch. There's a little duck pond water feature and various game spaces as well as a playground for kids. Plenty of trash cans abound and the park felt quite clean. The restroom was open and clean. This park offers a nice place to enjoy Tacoma.

Gorgeous large park in downtown Tacoma! It has a pond, playground, massive trees! There is a really cool greenhouse. Lots of flowers! Go look at the ducks in the pond. Amazing place to be in the heart of downtown! I try to come by for at least 15 minutes a day when the weather is nice to help me recharge my batteries in the middle of the day. Especially on my lunch breaks! I truly cannot say enough great things about this park.

It is a great place to visit and take a break. I felt recharged as I walked along some paths and saw the leaves fall. I have enjoyed coming here, this park is awesome!

Historical site! The trees over 100 years old! It has a little bit of every thing for everyone, kids, walking a dog, relaxing, picnics etc. Definitely a must.

Well-maintained playground with a good variety for a wide age range of kids. Plenty of shade, and benches all around the edges for parents. Bathrooms are immediately next to the playground and splash pad area.

Wright Park is excellent for strolling, getting in some walking exercise, and even enjoying the colder seasons on a nice day. Will come back in summer to see what the vibe is like. (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

Went on a picnic with my husband. I choose this spot because it seemed like a romantic setting. It looks like people like to stroll through and others relax and enjoy the peace. Some people were sleeping under trees. Friendly environment and well kept up. Wildlife was enjoyable too.

Beautiful trees. Pieceful. I just moved here and love walking in this park. It has playground (although it needs to be repainted, it's still functioning well). There is a small lake with ducks. Squirrels just run up to you asking for food. Overall, it is a great place to connect with nature and get some fresh air.

Beautiful, large park full of giant trees. I created this 9”x12” of a lovely Japanese maple that looked like fall colors with its spring growth. JonBradham.com

Well maintained park with trails, seating, pond, playground, bowling green, and conservatory. Great spot to walk off brunch or get some steps in with your dog. Squirrel, turtles, and waterfowl are often spotted throughout. Parking is sparse.

Gorgeous park area with a greenhouse and beautiful flowers. I was only able to come for a short time but the playground was huge, with a wide variety of things to play on. They also have a water park with decent bathrooms right next to it. There are walking trails that I saw people also jogging on. I can’t wait to come back and check out the arboretum. My only cons are that parking was confusing and a bit of a nightmare if you aren’t familiar with the area. I didn’t see any parking lot- it’s all parallel parking on the side of the roads surrounding the park. I wasn’t expecting it and with my antsy toddler in the backseat I was anxious finding a spot. Also, there are a lot of shady people in this area, and in the parking areas.

One of the most beautiful, magical treasures of Tacoma. See trees from all over the world. Enjoy the ducks, the squirrels, the dogs amid the walking paths and peaceful vibes. One of those places where everyone is happy and in a good mood. Just lovely. Visited Start of Fall 23.

Great place for the kids. The water has been on lately.i don't know how long it will be on but, it's great for all ages for a stroll or, to take your dog for a walk. Pretty safe during the day but. After dark you got to be careful.

Great park to escape the hospital if you have a loved one admitted. Watching the kids play in the water was perfect for distressing when my sister was in the hospital for 5 days

Beautiful, sunny and shaded areas. Lots of trail options, flat or hilly. There was a event there today but not overly crowded. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy nature. Mud bay near by, can walk there and get dog treat or to cool down if needed. 5 of 5 stars!

Obsessed with this place. Every few months they rotate blooms for the season and it's just magical. The staff is so knowledgeable and fanatic. It's a staple for me to visit whenever I come for brunch dates in Tacoma. They depend on public funding and grants to keep this place going, so please come visit, donate, and check into the guest book so they can continue operating this gorgeous conservatory!

Very nice park that people actually use. Nice for relaxing or exercising. Walking paths, basketball courts, and a duck pond. Very huge and beautiful trees, all marked with name and date planted.

I love the beauty of this park! It’s distressing, great for kids, dog walking and a nature walk. Also the Seymour conservatory is a must see! Calming and reflective, from the plants to the pool of fish!

Took two dogs to the park who are new to Washington clear from San Antonio Texas whom I am caring for while their mom and dad get settled in Tacoma. I thought they have to experience the beauty if our historic Wright Park! Though it was cold we put our outdoor gear on and went on the famous fall Wright Park walk. Trees full if love and life with fall colors, great trails both earth trails and sidewalks. THe statue, the pond with geese, the beautiful botanical bridge where you could just set and be present and listen to the mini rock waterfall underneath bridge. I felt safe and today the park was clean and many dog owners and people getting out to enjoy the scenic fall walk. The dogs have officially been welcomed to Tacoma and loved Wright Park! 🍃 🍂 🍁 🍃 🍂 🍁 🌉 🌳 🏡 🌳 🏡 Thank you Tacoma, WA and park staff for having thus very memorable, appreciated place with the fur babies.

Quiet, beautiful and reflective place to visit. Historical building that will make you want to go back in time a bit. It's in the middle of a larger park in Tacoma that can also be enjoyed.

This was my first visit to the park and it was absolutely delightful. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables if you wished to enjoy a meal or you could pick an empty space and lay a blanket. There's also a very nice playground for kids but of course I didn't take pics. Lot of different trees and they even have placards explaining each tree. Conservatory is under a remodel but I cannot wait for it to reopen it's doors. And a few wonderful water features. I highly recommend a visit. Side note, I do live nearby and like most parks you should not walk it when it's dark at all.
