👍👍 Absolute favorite spot in Tacoma! It’s a massive sidewalk stretch for walking & exercising. It was hard to skate the whole stretch though, lots of cracks in the sidewalk. There is a smooth beautiful spot to skate over near the movie theater & shopping center though. People often mention walk, beautiful, area,

Ruston Way is a great place for walking and bike riding. The trail is accessible for all and if you get hungry there is a variety of restaurants to choose from. If you are a scuba diver Les Davis beach is the place to go diving. Great place to bring your family.

Beautiful waterfront park in Tacoma. Ample parking available, and this is the center of activity as well; close to the Old Tacoma area. The park and the pier provide great views of Mt. Reinier. Nice restaurants available in the area. I drove further up to the beautiful Point Defiance Park and also walked down to the Owen Beach. Good Mt. Reinier views from the Owen Beach as well. I had some fresh fish and chips with a nice, light beer at ‘The Spar’ restaurant in the old town area. Overall, the park and the neighboring areas make up a great day-trip from the Seattle area; however, recreational options might be limited here. A one-time-see area for sure. Not bad for a small town.

Gorgeous place for a relaxing walk or jog and take in the fresh ocean air. Saw folks on bicycles and walking dogs too. Even more accessible via foot with the extension and connection to Dune Peninsula and Pt. Defiance. WA in July/August is, hands down, one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

A favorite spot if mine in all of Tacoma. A must-see for a beautiful scenic water front stroll. Paved sidewalk for miles with multiple spots of beach access and a few docks to walk on and fish off of. Sometimes there are electric scooters to rent. I love to ride my longboard here and enjoy the sunsets on the beach.

It's always a beautiful drive. It was raining a little, but I'm used to it. No, I'm not living all my life. I still can't get the hang of it

Wonderful outdoor place to walk, hang out and enjoy the weather when it's nice outside. There are restaurants along the waterfront, picnic tables, a fishing pier and educational information. On clear days there is a great view of Mt. Rainier. Good place for families, too.

Beautiful views of the sound and mount rainier. Multiple paths for when it’s crowded. Great for everyone including your dogs! And lots of restaurants on the strip and off.

My favorite spot in Tacoma to be around and take pictures of the Mount Rainier. People are around for fishing and taking their dogs for a walk.
