I had a great time @Oceanlovers. The advanced open water was great! - price is good and on offer even included 2 stays in the new accommodations - corals in great shape. Diving in the national park area and islands around was beautiful - courses in multiple languages and can be start at all days possible. Also spontaneous like I did ;) one suggestion might be to also offer also dives starting in the afternoon to create an additional value on flexibility - great foto/video shoots available by @Nathaly. Thanks @Tefy for the amazing dive experiencewith your instruction making me fit for now 30m !

What an amazing experience! I did the PADI Open Water course with Sthefanie and it was awesome! She found a perfect balance during the course: made sure we were having fun while we learned heaps. Clear instructions, lot of knowledge and experience, always willing to repeat or clarify, super helpful, very calm energy, keeping it light and fun at the same time. Also great eye for and knowledge about the underwater animals during the dives. I’m 100% sure this is the standard in Ocean Lovers, so any of the other instructors will be awesome too. Would definitely recommend.

So professional! Gorge was a fantastic instructor and was very detailed and attentive, while also being so much fun! I’ve dived a lot of places around the world and this dive shop was the most organised I’ve seen. The gear was very new, the boat was a really high standard, and the instructor was so professional. We loved our experience here and would 100% recommend it.

Great experience with a great team! Me and my friend did our Advanced Open Water certification and everything was great and smooth! Jorge our instructor was very patient and explained things well! Everyone was nice and helpful. The deep dive and night dive were definitely highlights. adding a fun dive was a great addition, as we got to explore the reefs more. Jonny the dive master was great and found so many cool fish that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Definitely a place that’s hard to leave

Awesome spot and great prices. The people here are welcoming and helpful, no hassle diving. I dove with Armando a few times and with Johnny. Both were awesome. Fantastic experience.

I cannot speak more highly of this scuba diving school! I had never been scuba diving before, but over the course of 3 days with Ocean Lovers, I not only got my open water cert but also fell in love with diving. The instructors are so kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. The gear and facility is well organized, well maintained, and of excellent quality. Their level of professionalism combined with warmth and positive/fun energy makes you feel safe, at ease and excited to learn. Their accommodation is also INCREDIBLE! (Truly - when it comes to comfort, cleanliness, and aesthetic in the sleeping area - it was the best hostel I stayed in over 2.5 months travelling. Mind you, there is no kitchen or common hangout space, but you are too busy diving to miss this. Also, they included 2 free nights with any dive course! So worth it!) And of course, the aquatic life we got to see was amazing! (I am sure there are more diverse and less bleached reefs out there, but for a first experience it was great!) 11/10 recommend!

The diving, the instructors, the gear, and atmosphere was really nice! The accommodation was modern and clean as well. Why I don’t give it a 5-star is because the boat that is used, going out to the dive sites, is small so you squeeze in and have to shift around to make room for people getting in or out of the water. If you need to pee you do that in the water with the wetsuit unzipped. It works but a bigger boat would be nicer :)

My partner did a discovery dive, and myself a refresh dive (adv. open water). She had had a rather rough first experience diving, so the stakes were high. We had a wonderful time with Fernando, who was able to get her past her anxiety and gave her a fabulous day under the water, erasing the first traumatic one. Everything was super smooth, from booking, preparation, boat ride, and of course, the dives. I really appreciated how professional the whole staff and dive masters were. We saw a ton a cool underwater life, even a see turtle!! If you have to do your PADI certification, or just a fun dive, I highly recommend that club. The best in Taganga!

All of the dive masters were really great and friendly. The trips felt very safe. The night dive was the most fun! I also stayed at the apartments and they were nice as well. Very clean and super convenient.

Short version: This is an amazing place with great people and excellent equipment. Whether looking to go for few fun dives or interested in taking a course, this is the place to do it in Taganga. Longer Version: After having spent over two months doing my Divemaster training here, I got to see how this place operates inside out. It is a very well organized and run shop. Everyone here understands their responsibilities and does their jobs with passion and smile. In addition to having to fullfil all the necessary PADI requirements, DMTs are essentially treated as part of the team and help with many aspects of running the operations. From greeting customers to fitting equipment, doing various types of briefings, leading dives, doing skills exercises, equipment maintenance, and helping capitans anker the boat. Essentially, dive center's door (and people) are open to teach and show anything DMTs might be interested in. Even improving underwater selfies. People here are perfect combinarion of friendly, fun, but also very professional. Fun vibe continues well after diving. It is very common for people to hang out together after diving, have food and drinks together. Vibe here is so good that people from other dive centers come over to Ocean Lovers to hang out. *This review has been influenced by over a hundred amazing dives, dozens of fun nights, and two months of being part of a fun, caring, and professional group of people. Big Gracias!

An extraordinary formation with an incredible team. The equipment is maintained and the team is available for any questions. Luchi is a wonderful trainer who allowed me to pass my Open Water in perfect conditions. The Taganga Reserve is full of underwater beauty and is an ideal place to learn diving. This is the best dive center you can have.

Really good diving center! I hadn't been diving for five years. Refreshment course was all I hoped for: questionnaire on dangerous situations, an explanation of all the gear and some practical exercises underwater. Loved the staff, loved the sites, felt totally comfortable and safe. I can definitely recommend this place to everyone and especially to people, whose last dive is a while ago. Thank you Ocean Lovers and a special thank you to Jorge and Yoni!

I had an awesome time doing six fun dives with ocean lovers over the past three days. I did all of my dives with dive master Yoni, who not only helped me overcome a close call to a panic attack (that would’ve cost me my entire diving experience) but also was just a very friendly and knowledgeable guy! Even without being able to talk underwater, you can sense his energy and he’ll make sure you have a fun and safe diving experience. He taught me a few new things and was constantly mindful of helping me (adjusting my gear, helping with buoyancy, letting me hold onto him in bad visibility etc). The school itself is very well equipped, and the other staff members and diving instructors were very friendly - though I did not dive with them. They even have a hostel next door where you can stay, which is super convenient especially if you’re getting a certification. The equipment itself seemed to be in very good shape and when someone brought up an minor issue with their gear it was fixed swiftly before entering the water.

I went for PADI open water certificate here. It was one of my first diving experiences. The instructor spoke fluent English, welcomed us to the diving school and explained everything very well. This place also has an own accomodation complex for a fair price, which was very convenient. The first day we practiced in shallow water to go through all the basics. It was a nice and fun learning environment, which made learning really easy. The second and third day we went for some more advanced exercises on the open sea with the boat. Saw a lot of cool stuff in at the diving site in Tayrona park. All the material here is proper taken care of, and everything in the diving school is clean. Most of the office personel also speak English, and are very helpful. I had a great time getting my PADI here, and it was also fairly priced compared to its competing diving schools. If you are looking to get a PADI, want good material, an awesome diving spot, good English speaking instructors and free beers after a dive then you just found your diving school. And yes this reads like a promotion, but I am a satisfied customer. Thank you all of the team of Oceanlovers and keep up the good work :)

The best PADI training centre in whole of Taganga, Santa Marta. I had a great experience here and they are extremely friendly and relaxed with every customer. Lissy was kind enough to answer all questions and Andres was great dive instructor too. They made me feel like part of their special home, the dives were on time and have all of the latest equipment’s. I did a total of 4 dives and always in different spots and they have sustainability at their core. The first day I went for registration assumed it would be 30 minutes but since then the vibe was so great I spend more than 3/4 hours chilling with them and other divers from all around. They even invited me for graduation ceremony of a Dive master where we had great drinks and food. I will definitely return here for my advanced courses and wish them the best of luck. Also, most other divers are so open minded and made a bunch of friends :). Keep up the great work guys and girls :)

I completed my open water diver course here with Stefi in English and had an amazing experience! The diving and corals are breathtaking and the teachers are very reassuring and patient! All of the staff are excellent, friendly, and great team, and if I planned to complete another course I would definitely come back!
