    - (Partially) VERY (!!!) dirty: The cushions on the rooftop and the couch in my room were covered in disgustingly dirty spots. I wouldn't even put my bag on this, it grossed me out. The eating tables were not cleaned very often (smoke buds laying around on it that were there last evening too) - Thin mattress - NO control over A/C: It automatically starts around 8 p.m. / lasts until 11 a.m. - NO single place to be found without music blasting until late night. You can clearly hear the music in your room (music starts around 12 a.m.). - Drinks are too expensive (small coke: 5000). NO outside drinks allowed, someone told me. +/- food: okayish prices from 24h available kitchen: Small and (too) simple breakfast around 12k, tasty meal around 17k. + The bathrooms and the beds were in good shape at all times. + beautiful design of living space with pool, cute lights and billiard. The rooftop place is just a beauty if it weren't for the dirty cushions. Guests: Mostly party tourists I met here, real chill vibes not to be found at my moment of stay. Some broken guys here. Stories about nights out with sketchy people and sketchy alleys. But also stories of good parties :). Overall: I got the impression that this is what you mostly get here in taganga. I came here for diving, but everything else was quite the disappointment. I usually like to chill and connect with people ... but not here.

Completely horrible. It looked grimy, there were guests smoking weed at the Pool and staff did nothing about it. Also, not really an internationally diverse group of guests which can make you feel not really welcome there. Don't come here if you want to relax.

Nice facilities. Unfortunately wrong atmosphere. Loud party music all the time but it's not a party place. Some lounge music or even no music would suit this settings much more. Lots of areas to chill, social, and relax. but loud music destroys that comfort. Also bad place for non smokers because people are smoking everywhere. There's no clean air.. which is really ironic for Taganga.

Nirvana is a strong word, some of a lesser mindset might even make allegations of appropriation, but I steer clear of people of that mindset. Located in the authentic/rundown beach town of Taganga, just on the outskirts of Santa Marta, this Hostel boasts all the usual amenities of an old school Hostel, but it's the 24 hour restaurant with all day breakfast that won me over. I really and seriously can't tell you how impressed I was with their kitchen. It is not like the high end new Hostels I usually frequent, but what they lack in luxury they make up for with a lower price structure and lively staff and guests. Check it out.

I was in this hostel for five days and arrived with great expectations and was disappointed with my stay. 1. The rooms are not high in cleanliness ants walk on the walls. 2. At least four cases where the water just didn't flow in the shower during the shower and the same with brushing your teeth the water just didn't flow. 3. The hostel has a large pool, snooker table and a nice sitting area upstairs. In addition, there is a 24-hour restaurant including all beers and snacks. Because of all the things I have mentioned it is very convenient to stay and spend more money than usual and also you are less experienced in the life and atmosphere there is in Teganga itself.

The highlights are the helpful staff, great location and useful (24/7) kitchen. Although, facilities are quite dirty and the public wasn’t diverse… there were only Israelis. Also, people were noisy all night long and the staff didn’t help with it at all.

I loved it! The pool and rooms were great with a/c all the time. Food was great. Staff was great. Didn't realize it was an Israeli hostel until after we arrived, but we had a blast meeting all the Israelites. Good price. Will definitely go back.

Amazing Hostel! They really do a good job keeping the pool clean. Very affordable prices on room, food and beer. We had uncountable nights thier and just felt like home. Certainly the best hostel in Taganga!

There isn't hot water in the shower and no AC for most of the day but besides that it's a good hostel, nice pool and games, a restaurant with nice food and good vibe
