They say it's the most scenic McDonald's in Tagaytay, but I went here at night, so i didn't get to see the view. Haha. They have outdoor and indoor dining. There are lots of seats too so it can accommodate a lot of people. They have parking spaces for both motorcycles and cars.

One of the best McCafΓ©s I have ever been. Maybe it was because of the location, the atmosphere, and the view. The place is cool, but it could really get crowded during peak hours. This review is based on my experience from way back 2016-2017 which was before the pandemic, so I don't how it feels like today.

The only Mcdo overlooking Taal. They have ample parking but tends to get full especially on weekends. Tried out having breakfast here and the place is already packed. Despite all this, you will still have an enjoyable time taking your meals.

This was kind of a 'hidden' McDonald's. It had indoor and outdoor seating on both 2 floors. The view was better on the upper level. The regular McDonald's was on the lower level and the McCaffe was on the floor.

A typical McDonald's except for the Tagaytay climate and nice view of Taal volcano. Nice to visit if you're in Tagaytay area. Parking is limited only but you may park your car at the roadside (back area).

The view is so good. We didn't eat here due to protocol that it needs vaccination card in order for us to enter the fast food. It's fine, I do understand it anyway it is for goods of all anyway. Since I'm not yet vaccinated and my boyfriend only is the one who's vaccinated. We arrived there clear and it become foggy then we just wait again until the fog gone. The guy and girl in the pic is just so sweet. Hehe.

Orders were served quickly even though lines tend to be long on weekends. Spacious parking space at the back if you prefer to dine in. Drive thru is also available. They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, GCash, Paymaya and even Grabpay.

The place is good, not great. Perhaps, I just expected too much. There are cracked floor tiles. The restroom is also smelly. The urinals are untidy. The menu list is not updated (old items still showing). The airconditioning units might be off. I even told one of their staff that the store is hot. I bought a lot of items from this store just to get the chance to sit at their "Al Fresco" dining space. I timed it. It took less than 2 hours to get a seat outside. Tsktsktsk!

5.1.23 We left the house at 430am so we could watch the sunrise on the McDonald's balcony. Sadly, the sun started rising at around 5am while we were still on the road. Plus, when we got to the place, the balcony was still not open to the public. It was only opened around 545am. It would have been great for people to watch the sunrise there. Once the sun has gone up around 630am, it will be very hot in the balcony area as the glass door is always closed, so the cold air couldn't flow through. There's an entrance from the parking area but it was only opened around 6am, I think. We had to go up through the side. The view is still great though. The smell in the parking area is not. It's hot in Tagaytay right now so it's better to come at night.

A nice spot to enjoy the breakfast, but with the very limited parking space, you might want to reach the location early. The place was packed with teens and family while they were short staffed and also got the order number mixed up to make the waiting even longer.

After a long drive from our beach trip, we decided to eat here at Mcdonald’s Tagaytay before going home. My friends and I were very excited because the Mcdo here is level 2 or level 1 ( don’t quote me on here) because they have McCafe. As usual there are a lot of people so it is really hard to find a nice spot for your dining experience while viewing the taal lake. When we received our orders, it was eye pleasing due to the big size chicken as advertized. Unfortunately the chicken that we ate is hard as β€œrock” that you can throw it in your garden, we are really disappointed to the point that we chose not to finish our food. This is the first branch of Mcdonald’s that we experienced serving waste chicken.

  • 3/5 Jayvid C. 1 year ago on Google

  • 5/5 Jun C. 1 year ago on Google
Great view of the lake. It has enough parking space at the back for tourist like me. I'm sure this place gets pretty crowded especially on weekends but since I visited on a Friday morning there was only a few customers here. Being a morning person, McDonald's is my first option when it comes to breakfast and this branch is extra special because of the great view of the lake and Taal volcano.

  • 5/5 Ryann 1 year ago on Google
The customer service was amazing. People always wear their smiles. Bring your own jacket as it was a little cold.

View from the "dine in" area is awesome but due to pandemic sometimes the upper dining area is closed. Parking is accessible from the front and back roads. Food of course is the typical Mcdonalds.

  • 4/5 Juvilene 1 year ago on Google

Good thing this branch has a great view. But the service that day is terrible. It took a really long time for them to be able to serve our food (not a fast food standard for sure) and what's worst - it was served cold, fries were not even crispy and warm.

  • 4/5 JC F. 1 year ago on Google
It was very cold and windy. We never had a hard time finding tables eventhough there's a lot of people eating. We even switched tables thrice. Outdoor sitting is great, you'll get to enjoy the other side of the taal lake. They have a big window inside and a veranda outside. Don't forget to bring your jacket.

No seats available on a Sunday morning, but it's worth the wait. The view is good but the place is not cold maybe because there's a lot of people in the area.

Just nestling near the main intersection in Tagaytay, this Mcdonald / McCafe fast food chain branch gives easy access to both tourists and local residents. The best part is their parking lot - it has a space that also gives you the best view of the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano where you can eat while savoring the view. They now upgraded to self-service system for those who want self-service in terms of ordering and online payment.

McDonald’s itself is as expected. Staff are fast as usual. ~ Overcrowding of tourists and some with unruly and rude behavior is the issue. Good place for takeouts, drive thru and deliveries.

  • 4/5 Alex C. 8 months ago on Google
Visited the place around quarter to 7pm. The place is crowded, there are many customers but the are some parking spaces available perhaps majority of the customer stayed at Tagaytay since it is weekend. Service is good, we only wait for few minutes for our order but the upper floor is closed. My colleague told me that the best area in this McDonald branch is the overlooking area in the upper floor but it is closed. Crew is good and accomodating. Food is ok. Serving is good too even there are a lot of customer we dont wait for a long line. Restroom is good and will go back here to check the overlooking area in this McDonald branch.

It was mostly okay. Got a few pinpads that needs replacing, but at least the kiosks are working as they should! Good chicken, though at least they could have gotten fried when I ordered it. Overall, still a great experience like other branches.

Pretty decent Mcdo. Went here on a saturday morning and the place was a bit packed (7am). Tables and chairs weren't as much as I had expected (with the view front of Taal, you'd imagine they'd accommodate more). They only have two levels of seating; McCafe had a special section on the second floor, with outdoor seating (which was closed by the time). Food prices are typical, and they have the digital kiosk for dine in customers. I think drive thru was pretty packed too. Unfortunately, it was a foggy morning, so no view of the Taal. Overall still a great place for hanging out.

Mc Cafe 3rd Floor experience should have been great if the open area terrace is open for public. Should be open to effectively control covid spread and for customers' enjoyment.

I really want to commend how the interior and exterior design of this McDonald's Next Generation fitted the location of Tagaytay's majestic and breathtaking sceneries of nearby Taal lake, the cafe upstairs has allmost outdoor tables for those customers who want fresh air, couch and sofa. Will definitely recommend this to visit for everyone who will go to Tagaytay!

Serving was a bit slow for my spicy chicken but it's alright. The place has a great ambiance, tho not really a great view of taal or idk 'cause we went there at 6pm? (sun is still up during that time) Nevertheless, it was a great McDonald's experience. SUPER LOVE the strawberry shake

In mcdo Paliparan Dasmarinas When you order for a coffee they will mix the sugar and creamer through youre consent. In Tagaytay even you asked for them to mix it, they will just give u the condements. NO GOOD DRIVE THROUGH. No extra service. 😑😑😑

My experience here in McDonald's NXTGEN was terrible! I came here as a tourist from Toronto. The security guard on duty was arrogant and not polite to customers like me. He even allowed the people to go inside without wearing a face shield. I noticed as well today that some service crew are not wearing a faceshield and face mask . #IATFTAGAYTAY should investigate. The security guard should be replaced because he is not a PRO to the customers. They should always welcome the customer nicely. #McDonaldsNXTGEN need to take this very seriously.

We have been taking our breakfast here for quite sometime now and today we came late for our breakfast and breakfast meals seems to ran out on us. Fortunately and luckily, we have the front staff, Pam M. Fajardo and Manager, Kaela Laxama, who were very accomodating and kind to us! We were spared of our favorite McDo breakfast!!! β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜‰β˜ΊοΈ Thanks also to Daisy, service staff, for her quick response to our requests! We Love McDo specially this branch as they are really Superb with their Services and food not to mention the fascinating views of Taal Volcano!!! β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘†β€οΈ

Kiosks were confusing because payment via card was not working...the 2nd floor area (where mccafe counter is) is messy--customers are the one bussing out the tables. There is nothing to call the attention of the counter/cashier in the 2nd floor. I think they're busy with drive thru and I had to stand there waiting for someone to come out and make my order which was already paid downstairs.. View was amazing as always.

  • 3/5 Pinky E. 1 year ago on Google
I like it that Mcdo is being innovative. The order taking is interesting and paying method is convenient for customers but the whole procedure will take a customer 5 to 10mins to be done with it and another 10-15mins before finally have your orders in front of you. The food preparation and Dispatching procedure took so long. The old procedure will only took a customer 3-5 mins. That's include order taking, paying and assembling. Another 5-10mins if there is a pending item. But of course, i would want to give this innovation a chance. Maybe in time, service can be faster.

SOME CREW'S HERE ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL! THEY WANT US TO GO ALREADY WHEN WE'RE NOT FINISH EATING OUR MEALS. THEY EVEN LET US CLEAN OUR MESS AFTER KICKING US OUT WHEN IT IS TYPICALLY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STAFF TO MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS IN THE DINING AREA. We're looking forward to witnessing improvements in the service quality and behavior in your McDonald's in the near future.
