Bag of Beans is famous for its cozy ambiance, delicious food, and freshly brewed coffee. It's a popular destination for both locals and tourists visiting Tagaytay, a scenic city known for its cool climate and beautiful views of Taal Volcano. Bag of Beans offers a range of menu options, including breakfast meals, pastries, sandwiches, and hearty Filipino dishes. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or indulge in some delectable treats.

This place is almost perfect for me :) If you are a fan of good food, this must be a place to dine in. They have great food, and the serving is good for sharing (believe me on this). They have salad, pasta, Filipino food, and I like their adobo, but it is only served during breakfast. Parking is not a problem. You can dine inside or outside of the restaurant. The theme of the place is like, log cabin. For prices, I also took photo of their menu. You can also buy, bread, coffee, and other goods for take out. I even took photo of their toilet, its well designed :D See photos :D You might ask, "Why only 4 stars?" because, they only have one toilet :D

Was our first time to eat at Bag of Beans. We ordered the Meaty Kebab Trio and the Chicken and mushroom pie. I also tried their apple shake. All of that was well-prepared. Downside was that there were so many people and it seemed that they are understaffed. Still, major props to the waitstaff for their kind and patient service.

Good food everytime. The Lasagna was meaty and saucy. The Fish and Chips was just a tad oily but my husband liked it. Plus, he gave them high praise, as he was served a proper tea with milk he had ever tasted in Asia! (He's English.) The original restaurant, though, is still the best Bag O' Beans for me. I will come back whenever I'm in Tagaytay.

Coffee is great and fragrant. I really love their pork chops, they are juicy and tender. It's my first time with my wife to come here. Hope to visit again.

I'm a Englishman craving for fish and chips after a month without. These are by far the best fish and chips anywhere in the Philippines!!!. Better than most in the uk. A perfect meal in lovely surroundings with my wife. Thank you and God bless.

Perfect restaurant! During our honeymoon, we ate here twice during our 2 day stay in Tagaytay. Bag of Beans is undoubtedly one of the most famous eating places in Tagaytay. The restaurant is without a doubt an easy and good choice for first-timers in Tagaytay, which explains why the restaurant is often full. Bag of Beans has several branches in Tagaytay. All of them have a relaxing, homey, and international atmosphere that makes one curious enough to step inside. But of course, Bag of Beans is more than just an Instagrammable place-it's also where friends and family gather together to enjoy hearty food. Admittedly, it is a bit expensive but the taste, quality, and amount of food is well worth it.

Sarap ng food and rich and creamy batirol. Kare kare and sisig was phenomenal, bitin ang one cup of rice. One serving of Kare-kare is good for 4 and sisig is good for 3, you don't need to order much because of the huge serving.

Delish food and we love the ambience. Prices are reasonable. The only CONS is that they don't accept credit card payment.

The steak & mushroom pies are so flavor packed. Each bite just gushes with juice, definitely a must try.

Always been a fan of the ribs. The mashed is also great. The chicken and mushroom pie tastes as good as it smells. Con: quite pricey

The service is good here. The lasagna is pretty big and tastes good. The roast beef was a bit cold and needs more gravy. The potatoes that accompany the roast beef are creamy. I'd come back to try the other things.

Tried its Beef steak tagalog and just so good that i was able to finish such a huge serving , for the first time!!! Wow. Id have it again when we go back. Place is also nice, so clean, classy, the ambiance is homey and quiet. Ow, they also have some things to sell . I was able to buy the Grilled yema and chili tamarind. Heaven. 😍😍

The place was nice & has a lot of tables inside. There's also a shop on the other side or room for pasalubong. As for the coffee, it's good but I find the iced caramel macchiato too sweet. As for the food, the blueberry pancake serving is big and has 3 thick pancake with lots of blueberry and powdered sugar sprinkled on top and syrup on the side. It's the same for the chocolate pancakes and they used dark chocolate so it's not too sweet. Overall it was satisfying and worth it for its price.

Let me just say, their quattro formaggi pizza is sooo good. One of the best oven baked pizza I've tried. Their pies are also quite good and very unique, you don't really get to see these type of food anywhere else. The ambiance was also quite unique, with a very cozy cabin vibe (very fitting of tagaytay). Overall, this restaurant is a must try when visiting Tagaytay.

Visited last Oct 9 with the lockdown eased a bit Arrived around 8 pm on our way back home to Manila Still open and accepts dine in while Starbucks was already closed. Ordered coffees and hot chocos as well as ube yam cake I really enjoyed the ube yam cake as it is not the usual chiffon cake with ube flavor, the cake itself has a nice texture and not super sweet. It is just the serving size for the price that prevents me from giving it 5 out of 5. Good for one but would pass as good for sharing among 2 persons. - Place is spacious and nice atmosphere - typical coffee and usual coffee shop price which is mahal for me as I only order black coffee - Definitely a nice place for pitstop during road trips and staycation along tagaytay.

I was surprised cash only, since it is a expensive restaurant. No CR except mall CR nearby. But food and coffee very good. Great peaceful, rustic nuance.
