A good night market choice when you are in Tainan. Overall the choices of food and beverages are similar - if not the same with Dadong Night Market. The night market is crowded during my visit, but nothing extraordinary. With the abundance options you have, you will definitely find something you like.

Definitely a must-visit! It was so lively when I went there last Sunday. The policemen guarding the parking lot were very kind as they guided me in parking my bicycle. There were many people but it was not annoying as the line was moving at an adequate pace, just enough so people could take a good look at the products. Of course when ordering from a popular stall, people had to wait a bit because there were a lot of customers but the waiting time was reasonable. So many stalls to choose from! I was so satisfied with the foods and milk tea that I bought! I definitely would like to go back again to taste the other deliciously-looking products. 🥰

It’s a traditional local Taiwanese night market, and there are varieties of vendors, including local and fusion street foods, specialty local foods, individual hot pots, hot stone BBQ, entertainment gaming, clothing shops, beauty accessories, phone accessories and others. There are a lot of things to do in the night market more than just eating and drinking, and surely, you can find something you like to eat or try. The food price in the night market is reasonable overall, but the sanitation for dine in is per individual’s perspectives. Most street food items are made for take out only, so bringing personal containers or utensils are recommended. It is very crowded in the evening, so be cautious of your personal belongings and your steps. The public transportation to the night market is limited, and the sharing bicycles aren’t many, neither but it is a fun place to visit in Tainan.

Worst night market I've been to in Taiwan so far. The food is mediocre at best. Best to save your time and money and invest it at a restaurant nearby that, more than likely, will have better food.

A wonderful night market. It is not to be missed in Tainan. Great selection of food games clothes souvenirs. Overall a great experience. It is filled with people but ample places to sit if you would like to stop and rest and eat some food

First time visiting Tainan's most famous night market, and it was really bustling with crowds, so many people. I tried a lot of famous street foods, and they were truly delicious. The only downside was the large crowd. This visit made me feel that the people of Tainan are really wonderful and welcoming. Each food stall not only serves delicious food but also has friendly and warm-hearted owners who are good at customer service and even offered samples and extra portions! It made me feel really cozy. I definitely have to come again next time! Thank you, Tainan.

(Translated by Google) The parking lot is full before five o'clock on the holiday Eat the staple food first while the crowds are not too many After the meal, the crowd was turbulent, and it was difficult to move. It was exaggerated and terrifying. Pushing the stroller and being afraid of getting people’s feet In the end, I can only send my husband to buy a car to eat alone (Original) 假日去還沒五點停車場已滿 趁人潮不算多先吃主食 完食後,人潮洶湧,寸步難行,很誇張恐怖 推嬰兒車又怕弄到人家的腳 最後只能派老公一個人逛買好車上吃

This is a short old street, most of the buildings were built during the Japanese rule. It may not be particularly special in the past, but it is very precious now because of uncontrolled development in Taiwan recent decades, so the local residents are exceptionally commendable because they were voluntarily retain. Old Street should not only be food and shopping, the building can tell us more about people's spiritual pursuits and work attitudes in the past.

(Translated by Google) It feels a bit more lively than last time. The old street baroque totem has been renovated. It would be more flavorful if the street can be closed for a fair on holidays. It is a pity that there are many vehicles on the main road, and it feels unsafe to walk around. (Original) 感覺比上次來熱鬧一些,老街巴洛克圖騰有整修過,假日如果能封街擺個市集會更有風味。可惜是主要道路所以車輛多,感覺逛起來不是很安全。

Great place with various different food. The market is always crowded, but it's worth the time and effort to come and eat out here. Visitors also have the opportunity to play some games and listen to the fortune teller. There is a big parking lot, which is always full, but there are alternatives in the vicinity in case you arrive by car.

The biggest night market in Tainan. Can easily spend a few hours walking around and eating an endless amount of food. Pick what you fancy, it’s all tasty and cheap. They have carnival fair type games to win big stuffed animals and toy trinkets for the kids. Great place at night but very busy. Bring an appetite and lots of patience. Can only imagine how hot it gets in the summer time.

There are many beautiful homes here, built during the Japanese occupation. They are all in a Western style, or mostly so. Before the busy Chinese New Year, there are many stalls selling several delicious snacks and drinks, as well as some hand made goods. The place is nice and it's one of the biggest night market in Taiwan. you can try many traditional cousins there beside the normal dishes that you can find them at any night market. This night market is English friendly so if you don't know Chinese, no problem you will find signs in English everywhere. The parking there is really difficult so you might pay money to find a parking space.

One of the best FOOD night market in Taiwan . Got some unique tainan food example 'Coffin Toast'. Big car and bike parking available here. Toilet consider enought. Not need wait long time for toilet. But kindly noted NOT open dairy. Suggest check on line before go.

Hectic and overcrowded, because the shopping streets don't have designated directions, so people try to move around in all sorts of chaotic paths! It's super sweaty and hot but however, the local food and atmosphere is all very Good! Lots of foreigners of course. The famous foods seemed like a chicken foot place with tons of people waiting, duck blood soup and fish ball place, and a fried scallion pancake place! Get a huge mango fresh smoothie to cool you down as you browse the food stalls and game areas :)

  • 4/5 Sachin F. 2 years ago on Google
Crowded, there are numerous food stalls. I had 闗運 chicken pie, which is very sweet and completely Tainan in flavor. In addition, I drank Thai milk tea, which was delicious and something I would order again. This night market is very close to Costco and has big space for parking. However, it’s bit skeptical to figure out the way to parking space.

  • 4/5 Mohd yaqub K. 2 years ago on Google
It is one of the best night markets near Taoyuan which can be easily accessible by public transportation through Taoyuan station and Zhongli station. The market has parking space. The market is divided into major parts, one part offers delicious food ranging from seafood, traditional Taiwanese cuisine, western snacks, and lots of other delicious food, while another part of the market offers you sports activities such as shooting balloons, basketball competition, and some shops with beautiful dresses for your princess with affordable price tags. The market has approximately four gates for entry with temperatures monitoring system. Near to the market, there is a beautiful park which offers a nice view of the market and comfortable seats to enjoy your delicious food. The market is usually crowded on weekends and the market is cleaned and well managed. However, spaces between lanes are narrowed which makes the lanes crowded. The market has a public restroom.

A large night market with decent variety, many friendly stall holders, and a good amount of seating (when we were there on a weeknight anyway). We camped out at a hotpot stall and used it as our base of operations. Beer was a bit difficult to find, but eventually found it at a stall that sells cigarettes and drinks (at the south end of aisle 3, I believe).

There are a lot of delicious food in Taiwan. There are more and different foods in Tainan. There are often night markets. There are many delicacies. You can also eat delicious food, fried rice, hot pot, all kinds of food, all kinds of food. I hope that the new crown will go well. End the day early, you can go to the night market to eat more food, yes

The biggest night market in tainan, and one of the best night markets in taiwan. People come to this market from all around taiwan for the tasty food and humangus variety of food. You will surely take 2 hours to go around, as this doesn not only had food stalls but they also have clothing, body accessories, mobile accessories, electronics, footwear and fun games to play. A must visit place if ur in tainan.

A broad range of food!!!! Numerous stores, you can eat till you drop! I recommend skipping dinner and just head here! It's been years since I'm back from Taiwan, really miss the authentic night market!

Overwhelming large and crowded night market. Unique food and many game stalls too. Get there earlier like 5pm to avoid the crowd and parking but crowd and queue is part of night market experience

Went there a little early so it wasn't too crowded. It's really a fun place. Lots of food, games to play, and clothes you can buy. People are so friendly also and try to communicate to you in English.

Probably one of the largest night market in Taiwan. Hundreds of stalls featuring Taiwan flavors and favors. A must visit to experience night market dining.

Lovely place and a must visit. It's only open certain nights of the week. We went on Sunday and it was packed. There are plenty of games and great foods and snacks. Definitely a fun place to browse. Make sure you bring cash.

Loads of stalls with games. One of my recommended stall would be this sizzling hotplate western. Affordable, comes with complimentary soup & iced red tea (self service). Toilets are also easily accessible outside the night market

Tainan Gardens Market is a must go when you are in Tainan. Especially if you are a foodie. Plenty of food choices around, and once you are done eating, have a go at some of the carnival games available or enjoy listening to some of the live musical performances if someone is performing

It’s only open 3 days a week, and there weren’t many stalls. All of them were food stalls. But I did get fruit jelly balls (100NT), fresh fruit (150NT for a fairly large container), and cheesy mashed potatoes (120NT), they all tasted really good and were a good price. And maybe the rain was the reason there weren’t many stalls.

Look for the 白糖粿. They have a traditional tainanese fried sweet snack. I call it the tainanese churro haha. A must try

A large size Night Market that there are a lot of choices for foods and games. Sitting areas are only dedicated for certain stores, so you may eat while standing.
