Many egrets and herons are nesting on the trees by the pond. Barbets are also building nests on tree trunks. Good park facilities like stationery bikes in the garden, an ampitheatre, basketball courts, skating rinks, and a lot of benches, seating areas, and sheds. Clean and well-maintained restrooms.

Everything you'd want out of a park. Super accessible right on the MRT line, and surrounded by nice cafes (some basic general chains, but also specific characterful ones as well!). You can also grab a uBike from any entrance point to the park and cycle around which is a lot of fun. It's nice to spot some native floral and fauna, and I personally loved visiting this park as a place to picnic with friends or go on a date.

If you want to cool yourself down, just come here and you will be relieved from the sun and you will have a breeze of a fresh air. It’s a quiet park, with many comfy benches and different plants and animals. Be careful next to ponds, there are rats at night and a lot of mosquitoes.

Very good place to have a relaxing walk. The park is huge and it offers many opportunities to relieve stress, like doing sports, watching animals or simply taking a stroll.

Trees, lots, but not really quite a forest I wound call it. Walking trails thread through different parts, always a pleasure stroll whichever path you choose. Joggers, fast walking elders, parents with kids or stroller (but not always a human inside), martial art people, yoga people, someone who brought a tent, bird watchers, special events attendees, just a great place for everyone. My favorite area was the bamboo (near north west), the bamboo somehow brought a sense of tranquility.

A nice park in the heart of Taipei, easily accessible with a Subway station right under the park and conveniently surrounded by 4 main roadways. Underground parking lot with entrance leading into the park. Lots of space for events and activities including an amphitheater. A short, nice stroll around its ecological pond and firefly area. Park has accessibility ramps so friendly for baby strollers and even wheelchairs. Public bathrooms well scattered throughout the park and well-maintained with cleaners onsite.

I was walking there with a friend at the evening when it was already dark, beautiful park and very relaxing! There's a short road with stones that can massage your feet as you walk on it. Overall great place to walk around and relax ✨ There's also a basketball court. (In one of the pictures you can see red lights, they were there for filming, so they might not be there when you walk there)

We absolutely love this park. The area for kids to play in is great. It has a climbing structure, slides, swings, and a big sand pit. I love the exercise area. It has just about everything including walkers, a rower, waist trainers, pull up bars, parallel bars, and inclined sit up area. There's a beautiful field next to it where you can see white cranes. There's also an amphitheater, trash and recycling cans, and lots of walking/running paths. It's so huge, we haven't even explored half of it. There's a parking garage underneath.

Not too busy, with a relaxed and fragrant atmosphere. My family and I visited before all the flowers bloomed, but it was still beautiful. We had a lot of fun enjoying the fresh air and cheerful bustle of fellow park visitors.

Nice park to run or walk but overly crowded and definitely over rated in terms of overall rating. No need to go out of your way to visit unless you are a runner or have very young kids. Playground is quite attractive but too many people in the evenings also make it hard to play.

Is one of the biggest forest park in Taipei. Is has a large varieties of trees. When I went there on 26.3.2023 there was a azalea flower festival. Hydrangea and other flowers were on displayed too. There is also a live band to entertain the crowd. The park has ample public facilities like seats and washrooms.

What a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoyed my first visit so much that I came again next morning for a 5k run on the jogging track. Good facilities and MRT close by.

The park is real huge and have theird own bird island. Good place to see the birds, turtle, walk around and enjoy the outdoor concert at night.

A good park in the midst of New Taipei city. Can see group of people exercising, doing Tai chi, dancing, walking the dogs, jogging , bird watching etc

Accessible from Daan Park MRT station. A lovely place to do picnic and exercise. There are plenty of public restrooms and a lake nearby. People bring their pet dog and tortoise here and you can also do birdwatching here.

Very calm and serene atmosphere for a relax walk or spend time. Very clean and well maintained park. Have You Bike facilities around the park for easy ride if you are a cycling enthusiast.

Nice park in the middle of Taipei city. Good environment. Connected to MRT. Very convenient for easy strolling.

Taiwan’s Central Park. A visit to a foreign country’s park is always in the itinerary and for good reason. It’s free, relaxing, and slows the pace down on an otherwise jam-packed trip. Loved my visit at Daan Forest Park and will be one of my stops the next time I’m in Taiwan.
