A nice tranquil lake to come for a easy hike and see the autumn colors.

It's a nice area to bring family, friends or a date. You can rent a swan boat and pedal around Lake Haruna for 1500 yen for 30 minutes. Time goes by fast and becomes exhausting to pedal since the boat doesn't allow the seats to move back. There are some restarants and souvenir shops in the area.

Beautiful place , you can ride on boat & horses. Nice place for family picnic and outing. Some outdoor activities are available too ! And off course free parking.

The park is actually an active volcano. Don't drive up if you an experienced driver. The roads are narrow and curvy and at times you might need to share a single lane with the oncoming traffic. Otherwise, it's totally worth driving up to see the magnificent views as well as visiting the infamous Initial D race track. 🏎️

It was really nice to finally see Lake Haruna and the surrounding area. I wish I was able to come later in spring to see the area when the trees have leaves. But otherwise it is a very nice and peaceful place.

Beautiful park with great view. I had a picnic here with my family in front of Haruna mountain and the lake and it was absolutely gorgeous. While it was hard to drive up the mountain I would advise using public transport!

Beautiful winter illumination event at the Lake Haruna, held only from 06-28 December. And only some days have the fireworks.

Very nice place and highly recommended with little kids. A bit retro feeling, from cart course to self- or assisted horseback riding and obviously choice of boats to spend some time on the lake.

This is quite remote place and less foreigner tourists will come to visit , good view but you won’t spend more time here ...because there’s nothing only the view . Be careful if you miss the bus will wait 2 hours for the next lol .
