There are a couple of things to consider one of which is that the premium room is extremely small. The wall between room and WC is a glass where you can clearly see other person doing their business in the toilet. We paid extra €90 for a premium and that's what we got. The breakfast is also very limited and it costs a lot as well. The only good part is the sauna as they have Finnish sauna, turkish hamam and mint sauna.

Terribly rundown hotel and pool/sauna area. The rooms and hallways are at best of a motel quality, while the pool/spa area reminds of an old public pool with tiles falling off, shower room permanently stinking like there was a dead animal, saunas don’t offer the advertised 95 and 45 degree temperatures. People are allowed in pools with glasses, which seems like a great risk. Breakfast is sub par too – everything lacks taste, pastries are not fresh, fruit is not ripe, fish and meat are very dry. In the room you get “all over shampoo”, so no separate head shampoo and body soap. Definitely not a four star hotel and way overpriced. At least you are not charge anything extra for the pools and saunas, but pay attention that during weekdays sauna complex works only starting 4pm, until then you have one sauna in each shower.

To start, I want to distinguish that this review is for the massage I had at Tallink spa. I also had a pedicure that was perfectly good. As for the massage, it was among the worst massages I have ever experienced. First, the room was very cold and there was no blanket. I could have forgiven it if they had informed before that they were saving energy due to the war in Ukraine, but there was no such info shared. A for the massage itself, it was terrible. I do not think that the lady performing the massage actually knows anything about anatomy of muscles, ligaments and tissue. I wanted a deep tissue massage, but it consisted of 97% sweeping strokes that were not even following the muscle tissue. The last 3% almost appeared as accidental right moves. I am very disappointed as we were told that this should be one of the better spas in Tallinn. If you want a relaxing spa experience, do not come here.

Olimme häämatkalla vaimon kanssa ❤️ palvelu oli erittäin hyvää. Perus hotelli aamiainen, spa osasto oli erinomainen saunoineen ja hoidot olivat hyviä mutta aika hintavia

I just need to warn people, think twice before booking a massage from Aqua Spa in the hotel. I work as a masseuse myself, so I know very well how it works. I know it’s not an easy job so I normally don’t leave bad comments, but the massage I experienced here was hasty and inattentive, and lacks basic skills.

The hotels is pretty mediocre, rooms are kind of ugly but clean and comfortable enough. There’s not much to do at the hotel itself and the spa is pretty tiny. It’s very close to the Tallinn city centre, old town and the harbor which is a plus.

Really bad experience. Old, outdated and cold room with a TV that belongs to a museum, not a hotel that pretends to be a four star. This hotel could be a nice three star hotel, if they can get their act together. And by the way, the TV didn't even work and they came to fix it at the time of check out. The spa too needs renovation works and inside a steam sauna the smell was not pleasant. The temperature inside the spa as well as the water, were too low and the level of noise made the whole experience very unpleasant. At around 10 pm we heard an extremely loud music coming from a nearby open-air disco. The receptionist argued, that according to the Estonian law, the silence time begins at midnight and there was nothing they could do about it. They refused to change our room and offered us ear plugs. In the middle of the conversation the clerk just hung up the phone. The Estonian law doesn't apparently apply to Estonians, as the music stopped at 4am and the receptionist did nothing to make them stop. We spent 6 hours listening to the bass sounds of techno music, with our eyes wide open until morning. This is not the way to treat paying customers. There are far better hotels in Tallinn. Stay away from this one.

Service was great in many languages. Pool area was very clean and well taken care. Just one bench was broken in finnish sauna, and it was little dangerous. So many steam saunas and nice pool outdoors where you could enter straight from the inside spa. Very flexible to change check out time. 3extra hours cost 15euros.

Great hotel with awesome spa facilities. The room is fine. It’s clean, not very big, but everything is there. The special part is the pool and spa area which is included in the stay. The best indoor hotel pool I’ve seen. It includes sauna, a small outdoor part, several jacuzzi’s and a poolbar.

Great Hotel. Great service. Having strawberry mojito inside the jacuzzi was one of my highlights

Really happy with this hotel. I'll come back whenever I'm in Tallinn again. Convenient location near Linnahall tram stop, 1 and 6 lines, and #3 bus. The hotel lets in so much natural light. It was nice to sit in the lobby to do some work on laptops. Good quality wifi. Of course, the best part is the spa. Finnish saunas, steam rooms, a cool plunge, and two large swimming pools. The spa is in an enclosed courtyard of the hotel, full of light and space. (Spa was a bit hectic on Saturday. More relaxed on weekdays.)

Location is good and short walk to harbour and old town. In the hotel sometimes reception had too few people. After 18:00 pm. Family room pull out couch was bad to sleep for adult. Breakfast was good. Spa saunas and pool itself were good. Restaurant Nero food was Ok. Deli near the reception was sometimes lacking sandwitches

Used to be the spa & hotel with the kids. Nowadays water is cold, only warm is the jacuzzi. Rooms are excellent and bf is good.

Reception failed to notify the restaurant is reserved. It was almost half occupied. The lobby bar was a joke as well. Advertisements everywhere for sushi. Well, it was not possible to order. Staff was also surprised of other stuff written in their menu. Linke ask for wines sild by glass. No such wines. Overall, not too bad for a frontier business in some god forsaken countryside.

Good choice for a stay in Tallinn. Modern, comfortable and well located to walk to the Old town in about 10 minutes.

I was your guest of 18-19.02.2023 of room 327. Unluckily it didn’t fit any of my expectations for the 160€ / 1 night !! Please contact me on my email and give me confirmation here, thank you. Heating was making a big noise so you could choose only between sleeping in the cold or not sleeping but in the warm room… hairs in the bathroom… fridge didn’t close correctly, old/dirty toilet, paper stripes in the beans soup….

There were a lot of drunk customers in the hotel. At 18:00, the lobby bar sold large quantities of clear liquor to a very drunk man who was shouting in the common areas. The customer no longer knew how to pay with his bank card, so the staff asked other customers if anyone knew the drunk's bank credentials. The lobby bar boss poured the unsold liquor back into the bottles. I think it's completely unethical. The hotel is clean on the outside. One of our family's rooms was really hot because the heating device was broken. The hotel staff did not help in the situation, even though they were told about it. No one apologized or offered to make up for the lost sleep. It was unpleasant in the pool section because too much liquor was sold to drunken customers. The whole hotel was full of empty liquor glasses. Disgusting.

Very small room. Air conditioning worked poorly and was noisy. Car parking was not explained well beforehand. SPA was small and crowded. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. The location is excellent - right next to Old Town.

Hotel great. In the morning you could hear people scraping their chairs in the restaurant along the floor. I could hear this on the 2nd floor. The service in the bar restaurant was so slow. The spa was fantastic. The pillar menu was fantastic.

Palvelut tulevat eri klo aikaan esim spa toimii vasta klo 9 jälkeen. Päivä matkaajalle tämä toimii jos et aio tehdä muuta Talliinassa. Paljon henkilökuntaa vähän palvelua ja hymyä.

Good and clean room-numbers,good location just near with the city center BUT the main problem for me was the SPA. I wanted to relax after hours of driving, but I couldn’t do it. SPA center was crowded. Would be really great if there were separation between pools, like pool for families and kids and another pool with a bar it is a zone 18+. Floor covering is really slippery,so it was easy to fall down. On my eyes girl fall down and had dissected a chin. So such floor should be wipe off more often.

Nice hotel, pool and spa are a little disappointing, but definitely worth price per night from an all-in perspective if you want to visit Tallinn for a few days. Service is lacking and staff was a bit unmotivated it seemed. Maybe next time will be better. Basic English breakfast, little on the cheap side quality wise.

The hotel was comfortable, generally very clean and presentable. The staff was friendly and patient, even during rush hour. The hotel's restaurants were really cozy and the food tasty and affordable. The breakfast service was also really comprehensive and tasty, even if it was a bit cramped. the spa section was really attractive and comprehensive, there was a bar next to the bigger jacuzzi, which of course was full. The spa was really full of other hotel residents and was a bit cramped. The changing rooms had lockable cabinets, clean showers and toilets. The best part of the spa was the versatile saunas, which were big and really clean. There were several sauna options and they were really well implemented. I had the best time in the saunas. However, the hotel is plagued by the ongoing construction sites around it, whose temporary traffic signals and light traffic arrangements were absolutely catastrophic. Walking to the hotel from the center was difficult, but after a few times I learned the routes where the sidewalk did not end in front of the pit. Of course, when the hotel is connected to Tallink cruises and is affordable, there are also many cruise passengers in the hotel, so the cruise feeling continues in the hotel as well. Empty alcohol cans in the corridors, loud music from the rooms, drunk people everywhere, both in the spa department and in the restaurant. I considered this to be the biggest disadvantage. The rooms were for the most part clean, but the new sheets were carelessly in place, the coatings in the bathroom were very old and shabby and a little dirt was found here and there, the trash can was not emptied and the drinking glass was dirty. However, I experienced a great spa weekend, even though there were flaws and some of the people living with me in the hotel were just drinking and continuing to cruise and a mixed construction site around, I can say that I would still consider going to that hotel again, next time with lower expectations.

The hotel is located by the harbor and a 10-minute walk from the old town. The room was small, and the cleaning services were not the best. During the weekend, the hotel was extremely crowded, with too much noise even at night. The breakfast was good, but there were too many people and a lot of noise. There was a large spa area, which we only visited on the last night after most guests had checked out. In general, the spa area was very busy, making it hard to find a place to sit. There were at least 10-15 people in the same Jacuzzi at the same time (which personally find completely unhealthy) and children were running and playing all the time. This was disappointing as we had hoped for a relaxing spa experience. Our overall impression was negative. I would not recommend this hotel to a couple looking for a nice, romantic weekend at a spa hotel. There are multiple other accommodation options available at the same price, and this hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.

Update 20.11.2023: The outside pool is closed. You can no longer swim outdoors. Monday was a quiet day. I spend 20 minutes alone in Turkish sauna, lovely peace and quiet. Went to steam sauna and stayed over 30 minutes. Just two other people dropped by for a while, otherwise peace and calm with lovely scent. Finnish sauna in shared space was way too hot, 94 degrees celcius! It was impossible to stay more than 5 minutes. Feet and bottom 'burn' because everything has heated up. On the mens side The 80-85 degrees was better, again just one other person came in, so lovely time to myself. Massaging outlets are good for some water pressure massage. Although, i have no clue why they cut off, and how to get them turned back on. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase with the bracelet. You settle the bill as you check out. The lockers are also operated with the bracelet (use on top of the locking mechanism and push). I stayed from 14.05 until 16.15. If you appreciate a relaxing atmosphere in a spa and want to relax, monday may be the best pick. Entrance for 3 hours for Club One members is 17€. If the price was any higher i would rather go to Flamingo Spa, Vantaa, Finland. Overall a 4/5. - - - earlier review - - - Sorry, i have no idea of The rooms, so that's why 3/5 for the rooms. At the reception i told the lady that i want to take pictures for a review of this spa. As there are regulations within you have to agree. I agreed to take photos with no other people or Ask for their consent. So i have done that. It is a pretty plain dressing room. There are clean toilets. You go through mens side and enter the public space. It is beautiful. You can go outside under a tunnel. Most saunas are really mild hamam/turkish at 40-45C but Finnish sauna was at 90C celsius, too hot. Generally i can recommend this place. It is beautiful and harmonious. Overall a 5/5.

Never in my life. I don’t know where to begin. First of all the customer service is appalling, it was rude and unhelpful. We were hung up on, and spoken down to. The pool looks nothing like the photos. It’s more of a cruise ship vibe. The restaurant was “fully booked”- there were 10 people in it. The oat milk at breakfast was off so let’s hope I don’t get sick and they started closing down while we were getting food well before 10am. And then there’s the spa. It looked beautiful but oh my god. The aroma massage one was fine- not very aromatic but oh well. Beautiful room good masseuse. BUT THE MAGNESIUM MASSAGE oh my god. Never have a I wanted to laugh harder in my life. First of all the room was cold and bright with the radio playing pop music. The magnesium oil was a cold spray bottle so I was shocked every time she put it on and the way she massaged me was like a kid playing spa. I was tickled and prodded, softly tapped and roughly rubbed. Nothing relaxing or soothing or healing about the entire experience. Otherwise good massage technique but the rest took from the experience. For the price we paid very disappointed. All in all I don’t recommend. For the same price you could go to the Hilton or even an old town boutique hotel. Very disappointed.

There is no heating in the room. When we asked them if there's anything wrong with the heating, they changed us rooms, but again, the air was cold. They gave us extra blankets for the cold, but no one came to try to solve the problem. The location was fine, but a cold hotel room during winter vacation, is disappointing for a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't recommend it.

I was only guest of the hotel and i did not use the Spa/Swimming pool: The room was really good. Great bed, good view and a nice bathroom with a great shower. Unfortunately, in the afternoon, evening, late evening and early in the morning people and kids were running through the hallways everytime. Walls and doors are not strong enough to compensate these noises. Every step from outside can be heard well from your bed. So imagine what happens when kids are running all the time. I was not able to get enough sleep here. When i read the other reviews it seems that people/kids are running so very often. Is it a race track? Breakfast was really bad. So crowded. Bread/rolls were very old, the juice was full of water. Pencackes do not deserve that name. Staff was friendly every time i needed them (only at checkout).

This hotel is strongely recommended for seniors as for families, it has everything for a pleasant stay, nice rooms, common facilites for relaxation as the spa and saunas. The staff is alert and the breakfast is splendid.

The hotel and the rooms are nice, but the spa has very cold water! 👎The pools and "hot tubs" have a water temperature of 28 degrees, which is normal for sports pools, but not spa pools - you will just get cold fast, 32 (even 36 degrees) of water would be optimal, not 28. But the location is good and staff is professional.

Room cleaning is poor, there was a receipt and a used hobby from previous guests. Breakfast buffet area great crowed. Assure you ask fir daily room cleaning otherwise they will not clean. Spa is good, pools are great for kids and there are at least 4 saunas.

Nice, quiet rooms and an enjoyable spa/pool area. The only reason I give it 4/5 and not 5/5 is that the shower was poorly designed (the shower head points right at the door) and it’s a bit outside the fun areas

  • 3/5 Bruno VAN DEN B. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are functional and you get your money's worth. Location is excellent ... off the rush but close to everything. Big asset is the spa. On the downside, breakfast was rather basic and missed a fair share of TLC as far as the food selection goes, the quality of the ingredients, and the presentation. I would rather pay a bit more and get à better breakfast.

A basic hotel with a spa and good location. Hallrooms, restaurant and the spa were nicely decorated. Rooms were a bit dissapointment. Dirt here and there, hair on the sheets, awful deco. Toilet was recently renovated. Breakfast has a lot of variety but the warm stuff tasted like it was straight from the freezer. Good for gluten free breakfast too, except the bread.

Ratings depend on the fact that air condition wasn't working. Respond from the reception; the person responsible for that has gone home. Seriously, hotel full of paying guests and suffering from the heat?! Bad 'service', but obviously his salary is worth the lousy 'service'.

Old-fashioned hotel, uncharming staff, poor cleaning service and messy breakfast buffet ... but very good location, close to everything and good spa treatments and pool / sauna area (though also old-fashioned). There were alot (!!!) of families with children during my stay, which made it very loud and impossible to relax.

The spa is not really a spa. It’s a pool with semi-warm water. Kids are allowed in so the experience becomes less relaxing. The room was not as clean as it could be. Seems like the walls are super thin because you can hear everything happening around. Location is great. And the lady who is serving breakfast is the sweetest lady ever!

  • 2/5 Bartosz M. 1 year ago on Google
Big hotel area but definitely understaffed. Waited 40+ minutes outside the hotel area to be checked in. During checkin not much explanation since service was rushing. Staff was taking phone calls during our time to be booked leaving us hanging in the middle of conversation, did not even say anything like "sorry I have to take that phone call". We liked the spa area, they have different types of saunas and swimming pool area was rather pleasant. Bar area inside the swimming pool is also a cool feature.

  • 2/5 Kim A. 1 year ago on Google
Location is good. But honestly its not worth the money unless you plan to soak in the pool every day. And i booked on the phone at one price, staff said a cheaper price on checkin and in the end it was even higher than what they said when i booked it when i checked bank statement.

Nice clean hotel. Good food & service. One bartender was pushy and stubborn. Rest of the staff were nice. Finnish sauna was a bit too hot, even for finnish people.

The spa is a must;they have also a bar in the pool! The breakfast is very nice, you have many Choices. The rooms are clean. The position is good, 100m from the Port and 10mins walk to city center.

  • 2/5 Kevin Kalle K. 1 year ago on Google
I have been there two times and both times were below expected standards. The hotel part is ok, breakfast is good. But the SPA is just a disaster, especially this time. It is poorly lit and really COLD! Worn out pools, sauna had loose stage tables in Finnish sauna (dangerous!), missing door knob in the shower room sauna. The air, pools and even hot tubs were really cold, so we had to go to the sauna all the time, cause it was uncomfortable to be anywhere else for longer than 3-5mins. And as a local, I am used to chill temperatures quite well, but for a SPA were you go to enjoy and relax, that was bad. Only Finnish sauna was working (no steam sauna, Turkish sauna etc. - just empty cold rooms). Sauna rooms were not clean (especially under the stage). It felt like the rising energy prices have lost all maintenance workers and they have cut the costs to a level that is unreasonable and makes the experience a nightmare. The SPA service lady in the desk was rude - when I mentioned that it was cold, during leaving, she laughed and asked "oh, was it cold in the sauna too?" - when in fact most of the saunas were in poor condition or just closed!! That is not service you want to get, when you point out problems that should be dealt with. If it is too expensive to heat up, then better close it down. No point to keep that kind of service alive.

  • 4/5 Johan 1 year ago on Google
Did only visit the spa area. The spa is nice with a number of different saunas, large indoor pools, where one also is partially outside, and two jacuzzis. Convenient that the bar is accessed directly from one of the pools. The standard is in general good, but it is clear that some modernisation would be good.

We were guests for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year. The room was quite small but enough for the three of us. Hotel spaces are clean. Spa is wonderful with 4 different steam saunas and a Finnish sauna, lovely pools where children also enjoy a lot, pool bar is wobderful. Breakfast was excellent and diverse and staff was very professioanal and kind. Looking forward to our next trip to Tallinn and to be guests of this hotel.
