I spent several nights and really found that this hotel has a soul. Built partly in the ancient ramparts of the old town of TALLINN there is absolute calm. I recommend it to those looking for comfort and very low prices.

Excellent location within the old town walls. Pretty facade. However, no air conditioning, so my room 204 feels like a sauna in July. Room faces street, so is noisy at night with windows opened. Breakfast well laid out, and nice breakfast area. Hot food doesn't get refilled, so you need to be there earlier to have the full choice. Room is clean. Bed mattress is old, thin, and springy. Table lamps not working.

Cozy hotel, close to the station. Convenient both for business trips and for holidays with family. Everything is within walking distance. Close to attractions and old town. Excellent hotel restaurant.

Rooms were recently renovated and are comfy and clean, personnel is friendly. Restaurant (and Pub) was still undergoing renovations during my stay, so no review for that. Breakfast buffet is good, serving real eggs instead of scrambled eggs made from powder which is a big plus. Good location with easy access to the city center. Only negative thing I noticed is that the walls are a bit thin.

Good hotel for the price The pros: * Beautiful brick and wooden interior, cozy feel *The breakfast was amazing, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Flavorful potatoes and mushrooms, sausage, bacon, omelette, yogurt, granola, seeds, fruit, herring and much more The cons: * Receptionist did not speak Estonian (well). Asked me to speak in English when I spoke to her in Estonian. * Receptionist did not seem to be the most competent - we asked about sauna times and she had one other booking in her book and it took her a long time to explain to us when the openings were. * Although the room was otherwise clean, we found a potato chip on the bedside table, and some of the lights didn't work * 2 separate beds although we booked a double bed room

Room was nice. Bed comfy. Shower clean. Breakfast was killer. Local breakfast: kefir, porridge, boiled egg, pancake with jam and 'vanilla cream'. :o) Not sure my mini fridge worked. Also, there are no travel sized soap and conditioner in the bathroom. (maybe this is an American thing?) Location is super for exploring the old town. Also, price was very appealing.

Quite a nice hotel, good atmosphere, tasty breakfast (herring is certainly worth to try, and the coffee is good). Location is very suitable to go to old town and beyond. It’s a bit noisy outside, and the closed windows don’t help. Also, some small things in bathroom should be fixed. And the wi-fi is not ideal. Still, I am pretty satisfied with a choice.

Just stayed at the hotel imperial Tallinn 4-7 of August room 209 the room was nicely cleaned staff friendly & good choice of breakfast. It is well placed for the old town & town hall square with plenty of options for eating out. I would definitely recommend this hotel .

Loved the hotel for it's location. Rooms could be improved though, there was some noticeable amount of dust around. Breakfast is great.

What a beautiful hotel! True craftsmanship in both wood and stone. The rooms are very nice, clean and we'll maintained. Service is excellent. Staff is professional and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Location of this hotel was ideal to tour the lovely old town in Tallinn. The room size was adequate, although sparce on furniture . Beds were too low to the ground, and no air condition during a very warm summer. Breakfast buffet options were adequate. Staff helped us with providing a fan, after we asked for it.

Our room wasn't quite as luxurious as the website photos, and was small, and a little faded... It was however warm, clean and comfortable and the reception were friendly. One thing though, calling at five minutes past check out to harass us into leaving doesn't make a great impression! Come on, we were on our way out! It wasn't exactly busy either! Breakfast was fine but the omelette was bizarre and the boiled eggs grey.

Good location, very kind staff. Nice furniture and decorations, very cozy place. Room was comfy and clean, bed was comfortable. Will definitely come here again when I visit Tallinn.

Good location in the heart of Tallinn. Built into a portion of the old wall. Rooms are basic but comfortable. There is an elevator. Breakfast is disappointing.
