Portobello goat cheese salad was delicious, thanks to right amount of salt which blended nicely with carrot puree, salad leaves and pomegranate seeds. Coctail named "Põlva Päike" was also great, really tasted like the Sun. Chocolate and cherry for a dessert was a good choice. When the waiter brought it to the table you could instantly smell the aroma of warm and melted chocolate. Service was friendly and nice and gave good recommendations and information about portion sizes.

Cute little lunch place in Telliskivi. The daily offers tasty, the place is cosy and the little shop at the bag is brilliant (plan some extra time to look a the gift cards, you will need it)!

We stopped by for brunch and had the eggs Benedict. Normally eggs Benedict come on top of “English muffins” but this only had 1 slice of bread on the side. More like poached eggs with some hollandaise - either way it was still tasty. Cute atmosphere with the bookshop but the service could have been friendlier.

Very cosy place for book lovers, located in fantastic Telliskivi neighborhood. I had a Eggs Benedict and a cappuccino as a late breakfast. The dish presented itself very nice, the sauce was a bit too liquid though, but it was still tasty. Coffee 4/5. This pleasure cost me about 10 €. Quite fair then! The place is excellent to work, though at the time I was there the music was slightly too loud to focus ;) that was a pleasant experience

I’ve been coming to this restaurant almost every day often with my partner for 4 months now and it’s been largely a great experience. It’s a wonderful setting to do some work while you can order quite affordable nice food and they serve great coffee. So why only three stars today? Take it as constructive feedback. I’ve ordered the set brunch menu item today and staff charged me for each item separately. It’s the first item on the menu, and I literally pointed it out with my finger when placing my order. In hindsight I think I know what happened, because the curd pancakes that are included didn’t come out at first and when I asked staff, she told me “brunch was over”. I assume she made a mistake entering my order and instead of the €9,90 set menu she entered only my eggs Benedict with salmon. In the end I did get the curd pancakes, but was then charged €3,00 more. She simply said it must have been a misunderstanding, which it definitely wasn’t from my end, and moved on to the next customer. Leaving me standing there like a fool. 😅 I love the ice cold customer service in general in Estonia, I’m Dutch so I’m used to it, but this was next level. She could’ve given me €3,00, which I probably would’ve tipped, or given me a coffee. Instead it took me telling another staff member about the small incident to get that offer for a coffee next time I’ll visit. Poor experience and if it’s not better next time, that was the last time for me. I’m sorry, but this was a wild experience from a customer service point of view. Staff makes a mistake, customer pays for it and is basically told to sod off. I know I’m nothing special, but a daily returning loyal, most of the time low maintenance, customer is something you don’t want to lose over something like this I’d think.

Top 2 favorite places in Estonia. Food: - Manhantini cheesecake - thick caramel sauce on cheesecake. The caramel sauce is amazing. - Spicy shrimp with pesto sauce and toasted ciabatta bread. Amazing. Service: Extremely friendly, welcoming and kind. Vibe: AWESOME

Didn't get a chance to sit down for a drink or a snack here, but the attitude this place exudes is great! From cat shaped handkerchief holders to a varied book selection to the friendly staff - this seems like a place for any book curious café enthusiast. Pawsibly the best Rahva Raamat around, if only smaller in selection than the one in Viru Keskus. Recommend.

One of my favourite places for a nice lunch. Prices are very reasonable and the food presentation is always 10/10.

A restaurant/book shop hybrid with board games and children's toys. The breakfast was eggs with avocado and salmon and wasn't cheap. It's a nice place to have coffee and work with your laptop.

Suosittelemme. Ruoka oli hyvää, hinta-laatusuhde erinomainen. Viihtyisä interiööri. 6 ruokailijaa, kaikki olivat tyytyväisiä. Myös seurueen vegaanille löytyi listalta vaihtoehtoja. Palvelu oli erinomaista, tarjoilijan englanti oli loistavaa.

Don't be fooled--this is a literal bookstore that serves food with a limited menu. I was looking forward to getting a pizza or a burger (as seen in the photos), but neither were offered on the menu. We went to the restaurant around 12:30pm on a Saturday and received a "Brunch" menu. The menu was only 8 different options--four sandwiches and a few fried food options (labeled "pancakes"). They did not have any gluten free options marked on the menu, but we were able to choose one after some conversation between the waiter and the kitchen. The quality of the food was excellent--portions were on the smaller side, but we were mostly satisfied. This seems like a great place to have a meeting with some food on the side, but not the best option if you are hungry and want a lot of different options.

Defined a go to place when looking for a atmospheric place for a lunch. It’s quite busy during lunch hours, but there’s plenty of seating options available. During lunchtime, you can grab some bread & butter, and water. All three are free to grab. This time I tried their weekly special, pasta carbonara. It could’ve used abit more seasoning. But the overall experience was great. They have lunch specials which change every day, so check their social media.

The atmosphere is super nice and chilled, but the food is not to recommend. The burger had a dry bun and the patty was convince product. The french fries were too short fried. Wouldn’t eat here again. But would come back for a coffee and some books.

Cozy cafe and book & concept store with amazing atmosphere. Loved their honey bush tea and chocolate cake was divine! Book/concept store has great selection of books in Estonian as well as English language. Take a look through the concept store area, I’ve already done some Christmas gift shopping, decided on the spot because selection of perfect gifts for my friends was very inviting. It’s all neatly divided in themes. We visited multiple times while staying in Tallinn and enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend!

Good selection of cakes, affordable ones. The service was a bit slow but that’s okay.

A place where they play Blue Monday in the afternoon deserves already a 5 stars review. But here you can have a great coffee or a tasty lunch, you can also buy books and read them in a cosy ambiance. Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.

The decoration was super cozy ! They have a nice baked goods selection with cookies ( vegan ) and muffins. They sweet potato fries were crisp and delicious. The service was great. The beer could be colder and the salad was a bit too sweet.

Beautiful restaurant, cafe and book/giftshop. Like a museum, great atmosphere, good food, delicious cocktails. Great place for morning coffee & pastry or for dinner and cocktails.

Fantastic place. And the appetizers were delicious as well as the cakes. Edit 10.2023. The former menu is gone. All the delicious desserts are gone. Only expensive main courses are left. I took warm salad. It was good, but I really miss those unique appetizers and desserts that noone else offered.

A very cozy place to work, read, or just grab a cup of coffee. There are two sections with tables where you can have lunch or work. It has plenty of places with power plugs, internet is not slow, clean restrooms, free water, and the staff is very friendly. Regarding food, I've been here multiple times but I haven't eat any memorable dishes.

Reminds me of some other cafe/bookstores with good enough wifi to get work done. Excellent choice of pastries!

Food was very tasty and portion size was filling enough. Unfortunately they didn't have pizza the day we visited them and we were waiting for the menus for 20 minutes. And then another 20 minutes to place the order. It looked like the staff would've needed one more person who would've tidied up the tables. 2 staff persons for a busy Sunday is challenging.

Great atmosphere and service. The portions were quite smaller than I expected, but everything was good. I had the Beef and Mushroom, my lady asked two starters (always clever) and the little one spicy penne.

👍👍 Just Super! Extremely neat and clean atmosphere 👌. Self service, enter, pick the tray and the plate and choose food/drinks of your choice by going at dishes on different tables and the person will put selected food into your plate and then you pay at the counter for the selected food items/drink...
