Disgusting attitude on the phone and absolutely no service provided, no Internet access at time and refused to book me and my child (what do you expect people without Internet to do?) Staff member is just extremely lazy. (NOT all staff as I've had no issue last month and they were very pleasant) 28/4/22 at 9:39am

Took the grandchildren. 10 & 13 .Booking essential as limited availability. Able to book on line. When arrived there was a young women who checked your booking and gave the bands. Only had to wait a few minutes for a changing room. Lockers available for your clothes although need a £1 coin to lock.( Given back once reopened). Found not too crowded so all able to move around in the pool. Children enjoyed the waterslide and the waves. If you have young children or even those who are older it's best to keep an eye on them when the wave machine starts as although good fun can cause them to become tired very quickly and if feet not able to safely touch the floor can go under the water. lifeguards all paying attention and making sure children safe. All in all it's a very good afternoon and not too expensive at £2 for under 5 and £3.50 for older ones. £5.50 for adults. There is a cafe that you can go in after for a drink/food or watch from if not swimming .

Why aren't the slides and waves done more often? My son has a day off school next week on weds and the slides and waves aren't open. No point in going if they aren't open. I'll just take him to a closer pool. If the waves and slides were open more we would come here much more often. I used to come here with my family when I was a kid and it hasn't changed in around 15 years. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. But I took my 5 year old son today and it was still awesome. The slide has 1.1 metre height restriction (110 cm). You can't go down with another person so you can't take your child down if they don't meet the height restriction. The waves are fun as is the slide and the white water river. The sprayer is too cold though. I think the sprayers would be better if you could direct them. Like stationary water guns that you can angle at people in the pool. This place could maybe do with an update though.

We took the kids to the swim, slide and waves session and they loved it! Definitely worth the money! £16.85 for the 4 of us, for 90 minutes. Perfect for a little cheap and cheerful family time

The finger print scanners never work for me and is a right faff, but the gym and the staff are lovely.

Love Hyde Leisure Centre gym. Great facilities and all brand new state of the art equipment. Great layout and ambience since the refurb. Not a huge gym like the franchise ones but enough for most people.

Amazing. The staff are excellent and they have had a return at the gym and it’s amazing. The sauna and steam room are also lovely.

I went to Hyde for the Early Bird Swim for the first time on Friday. I used to go to Ashton but sadly they closed on 3rd September. I found the pool and the facilities very good. I am lucky that I am able to travel to Hyde unlike some members of the Ashton facility

Two of my children had a hugely enjoyable 90 minutes here recently. They particularly loved the giant water slide. And, at just £4.05 each for ages five to sixteen, it was really excellent value for money too. For the less splash-inclined such as myself, there was a functional and wholly adequate if far from luxurious seating and viewing area adjacent to the in-house café complete with that modern-day essential - free wi-fi!

Visiting Manchester, staying in Oldham. My daughter wanted to go swimming so we tried to find somewhere with at least one flume. Hyde active was a basic pool and kinda small but it did have a flume and waves and a small rapids area. The changing area is fairly small. We had to book online as they limit the number of people they let in at each session and you get 90mins. The pool was fairly clean although there were a number of floating bits of paper bands that they give you when you go in. Could be worse I suppose. All round not a bad a experience. Adequate for our needs and made my daughter happy. You do need £1 coins for the lockers for securing your belongings.

Hi, Child’s name: Ibrāhim Session: Saturday 9:30 I would like to cancel my son's swimming lessons. I have already canceled the Direct Debit payments and do not wish to continue. Unfortunately, my 6-year-old son did not receive much support. He was a complete beginner, while the other children already knew how to swim. He was consistently left behind with minimal or no support. Additionally, there was only one lady instructor who seemed busy with the children who already had basic swimming skills. I am disappointed with the level of attention he received. I believe it would be beneficial to have two instructors for the kids – one for those who already know the basics and another to provide more support to children like my son. I am unhappy and will not recommend your centre to anyone.

For those who really miss the sea: warm water, a wave machine, a slide. Crowded on weekends, don't forget to make advance reservations.

It was great to be able to go swimming at 9-00am every morning during school holidays. Let's hope it continues even when the holidays are over.

My kids and I love it here, they especially loved it today because the young lad controlling the wave machine and sprays wasn't afraid of turning it up a notch which made a really great change.

Very clean and well managed. Session started on time and lifeguards seemed very professional in their approach. Would definitely recommend as a good value, enjoyable experience.

Far too busy considering Omicron is running rife through the population. There was barely room to move in the pool and it was chaos in the changing areas.

Beautiful new place but opened for a lane swim 5 mins late and called us out almost 15 mins early losing almost 20 mins which made me 6 lengths short of the 64 that I needed for my marathon! Cheers staff!!

Great place, wanted to go with my teenage boys 13 & 15 so we could gym together...but teenagers not allowed in after 5 weekdays even if accompanied with an adult and only off peak times at weekends, which isn't convenient for me as I would like to go with my boys after I finish work at 6 oh well other active gyms are closer and don't have this rule in place....gym equipment ok and explains how to use it

Over all was good experience, but the only thing that let it down was the changing room and showers! I saw lots people leaving 30 minutes earlier and after I understand why!! Because it was not enough showers for every one so you need to wait with the kids!! And after that you need to wait for the changing room because it not enough for everyone in same time!!
