We stayed at ROOST Tampa because we were attending an event at Amalie Arena. Aside from the convenience of the location being right in the heart of the Water Street District and basically across the street from Amalie, the hotel was top-notch in every way! The staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was modern, clean and well-appointed. Since we were traveling with another couple, we selected a multi-room suite. Each couple had their own hotel-style room and we shared a common living space with a living room, a well-equipped kitchen as well as a spacious balcony with views of the city and the gorgeous pool area. Although surrounded by all that downtown Tampa has to offer, Roost felt private and quiet and we were able to sit on our private balcony after the concert with a glass of wine and converse while enjoying the city skyline. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town!

All of the staff, and Tommy McCormick in particular, really went out of their way to ensure that our visit was fantastic! We had an issue with a fan vibrating in our original room so they immediately moved us to another room that was quieter. They were professional yet friendly and took extra care to make sure that we had every thing we needed. Even though we only stayed for a couple of nights, the care and attention we received made us feel valued as customers. The entire experience had the feel of old world hospitality service but with modern and updated amenities. We took advantage of the bike share program that was available and it was awesome; checking out the area at our leisure. I can say with absolute certainty that, of the myriad upscale hotels we've stayed at throughout the years, this was, by far, the best customer experience we've ever had. We are generally not fans of metropolitan areas (preferring the country and open spaces) but if we had to move to the Tampa area, we would move into an apartment at ROOST without second thought or delay. When we return to Tampa in a few months, we will definitely stay at ROOST.

Me & my wife stayed at the ROOST Tampa over New Years weekend & we absolutely loved it! Great location right on the strip surrounded by amazing restaurants all walking distance from the hotel. I had the great privilege of being the FIRST person to stay in ROOST! This is my first visit to Tampa and now I am looking to stay in this beautiful building I love it so much! If you are staying in downtown Tampa or Channelside for at least a week, you simply can't look past ROOST. The rooms are brand new and modern; the amenities deck is a different world of luxury; but what really shines here is the STAFF. Roost hotel has amazing services, amenities, and staff. I am so very satisfied with my stay at Roost. The attentiveness from the front desk staff (Griffin, Sebastian, and Carter) was top notch, to the property contact, Tommy, who was accessible and accommodating the whole time. Elida, Savannah, Glenn, and Eddy were very helpful on the amenities level as well. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to my friends and family. We loved our quick trip to Roost. The hotel was clean, contemporary, and a fantastic value. The surrounding area is gorgeous as well. Tommy hooked us up with a great restaurant down the block and we loved it. We look forward to going back for a longer stay in the future.

Great stay for only a couple nights although the hotel is geared toward extended stays. I chose the location based on a recommendation of a friend who is a resident of Asher. Very convenient to everything downtown. Great professional service by everyone at the front desk. Very professional. My room was clean and well appointed. I will note I experienced a system glitch with getting a receipt for my stay and it took several days to resolve, but once I reached the correct person, the issue was resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend this property.

My stay at Roost on Waterstreet in Tampa was truly exceptional. The extended stay experience was everything I hoped for and more. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all that Tampa has to offer. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and felt like a home away from home. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. The staff at Roost went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly attending to any requests, their hospitality was outstanding. The amenities, from the fitness center to the rooftop terrace, were impressive, and the cleanliness of the entire property was top-notch. We stayed two nights at ROOST and we both will say they did an amazing job at making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Every moment between arrival and departure, you are made to feel special and important. The people at the front desk are lovely and the facilities are clean. Our rooms were more than well equipped for comfort and if ever available in a city I visit, ROOST will be top of the list. Truly, our experience with ROOST made us want to extend the Tampa portion of our trip.

We had a fantastic stay at Roost. Sarah and Jason checked us in and took great care of us. We arrived a little early so they set us up for a bit in the comfortable co-working space until our room was ready. Super helpful and friendly. The one bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious and the amenities in the room were excellent - even down to the coffee and filters in the kitchen. It's right around the corner from a great grocery store with everything you need. We grilled steaks on the deck one evening. Can't say enough about the great staff and rooms. We'll be back.

Having a full kitchen, washer/dryer and all of the included amenities on 7th floor was a bonus. By far one of the BEST places I’ve ever stayed!!! Literally these apartments come with everything, they even provide fresh coffee beans to grind and make a fresh cup of coffee!! The beds were amazingly comfortable and showered head felt like heaven!! The staff was amazing and I loved the daily events offered. My husband and I attended a facial event and left with our skins feeling like a million bucks. Everything in the building and apartment was brand new. They accept dogs which a plus and parking is super accommodating, they even have electric chargers on site. I would recommend this place 100% and ask for Elida specifically if you can, she was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide my husband and I the best experience. Thank you Roost. Look forward to staying here again.

ROOST Tampa offers the best apartment rooms I have ever seen. They are very well accommodating for a single person or a large family. Our room was a four bedroom Co-Living unit and was equipped with Nest thermostats, irons, ironing boards, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Flat-screen televisions came with cable channels in every room. The bathrooms included tubs and showers. Additionally, rooms include blackout shades. Kitchen utensils were provided which made it much easier to prepare family meals and not to mention dish soap and dishwasher pods for an easy cleanup job. The toiletries and attention to detail were very well thought out for an unforgettable elevated experience. I know where to stay when I come back to visit my family. Thank you ROOST Tampa!

I stayed at Roost for a week, and ABSOLUTELY loved it. The hotel is well-designed, and the staff is professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. The rooms are stocked with everything you could need if you need to stay for more than a weekend, and it’s obvious that the design team really thought about the layout of the rooms. On top of it being a high quality hotel, it’s in the perfect location on Water Street - right in the middle of plenty of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options. I look forward to staying there again, and I will continue to tell visiting friends and family to stay!

We stayed at Roost Tampa with a group of friends for a weekend getaway. We are very happy we decided to stay here. The hotel was beautiful, all the amenities were top notch. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Whenever we had a question or needed something they went above and beyond to ensure it was taken care of. Half the trip went by before we realized we didn't even leave the street the hotel is on. EVERYTHING you need is on Water St and within walking distance, we almost felt as if we were at a resort. The market on Sunday was a lot of fun, great food and local business owners selling their merchandise. Although we went with friends we discussed coming back with our children. The hotel and nearby attractions are all very kid friendly. We are looking forward to our next stay at Roost Tampa.

The staff, especially Tommy, were incredibly helpful and gave us amazing suggestions for our dinners out in Tampa. The ROOST Tampa is simply the best, from the amazing staff to beautiful clean apartments. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. The rooms were stunning, super clean, beds were beyond comfortable, and the apartment has everything you need in it! The pool area was such a fun area, huge pool, hot tub, staff walking around offering fresh smoothies for the guest, plenty of pool chairs and places to sit. ROOST is prime location as well. Walking distance to awesome food and live entertainment. I will never stay anywhere else but ROOST when I visit Tampa. Thank you for such an amazing stay and look forward to coming back!

What a great place! This hotel is located in the heart of Water street steps away from the arena and many great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and you could tell housekeeping paid attention to every detail. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

I'm updating my review from 3 stars to 4. The hotel itself was exceptionally pleasant. The beds were exceedingly comfortable, and the room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. The amenity area was aesthetically pleasing and offered excellent views and services. I was particularly impressed by the multiple outdoor kitchen and grill areas available for use. However, my experience with the front desk staff left something to be desired. My group consisted of two couples traveling together, and we had booked two rooms simultaneously under one reservation through a third-party website. When we arrived around 2 pm (before the official 4 pm check-in time), we were informed that one room was ready, and the other would be shortly. We were assured they would contact us when our second room became available. However, after not receiving any communication by almost 5 pm, we decided to visit the front desk ourselves. At that point, we were informed that our second room was ready. Upon reviewing the room numbers, we realized that they had assigned us rooms 5 floors apart. I politely inquired if this could be rectified, but I received what I perceived as a rather impolite response, stating that room assignments are randomly generated on the day of booking. Given that we had paid nearly $400 per room, we were taken aback by both the level of service and the attitude with which it was delivered. In summary, the hotel itself was excellent. Following my initial review, a member of the hotel staff did leave a note expressing their apologies for the inconvenience, indicating that they do value guest feedback. I believe that had I been staying for a longer duration, they would have made an effort to resolve the issue. I'm not sure what more one could reasonably expect in such a situation.

ROOST is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The rooms are amazingly decorated, fully furnished (including pots, pans, champagne flutes, coffee maker, etc.). The attention to detail, cleanliness, and friendly accommodating staff make this place worth every penny. The amenities of the building are world class (gym, pool, work space). HIGHLY recommend using ROOST if you're in the Tampa area for work or leisure.

My wife and I frequent Tampa as much as we can. We like to try new hotels especially if they are close to where we need to go for that trip. We got to the hotel about two hours early and were informed that they would call when are room was available. We were provided with a key so that we could park our vehicle and explore certain parks of the hotel until then. This was also no big deal since it was a nice day so we just went for a walk. Once in our room we started to have issues that were no person fault. Attempts were made to correct this and it was unsuccessful. I went to the front desk to see if we could move to a room of equal value. As the front desk employees were looking in to this Tommy McCormick who is the Director of Rooms overheard the conversation. Tommy stepped in and took over the process for moving us and let’s just say it was above and beyond. Tommy checked in with us the next day and even reached out two weeks later as well. Defiantly staying here again. All of the staff was amazing. On top of all of this, the fitness center is one of the best you will find in a hotel. The pool area is excellent as well. Plenty of places in walking distance for food and drinks as well.

My husband and I came down for two reasons- so he could cook at the Mediterranean Night and to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We had the best weekend. He enjoyed cooking for the residents! And we both enjoyed the pool and amazing patio area. Elida, Eddie, Steven and Savannah were the best and so accommodating! We can't wait to come back!

I had an incredibly experience with Roost. I stayed there for the past 6 months and it was one of the my pleasant experience. The staffs are really warm and nice. Every one at the front desk have been super helpful. Mr.Jason at the front desk is incredibly professional and hospitable.

Our stay at the Roost/Asher was excellent. Me and my family had a wonderful experience. All streaming apps on our phones were synct easily with all TV's. I love all appliances, Views of the street corner unit 515 were great. Easy access to the parking garage. Pool, gym,jacuzzi, and BBQ area on the 7th floor were really nice. I wish I was able to utilize the cinema room to watch a nice action flick or play a video game. I especially appreciated the front desk (Betty), nice and professional, She gave great suggestions and references. Also, Tommy from management, reaching out to us and assisting with the safety evacuation with my family during the hurricane. And to the other front desk agents with names I could not remember. The first gentleman who checked us in the first time and handled a lot of our questions and room service was also wonderful. I definitely recommend anyone to stay here for the service and location. I can't say enough great things about the Roost/Asher.

We had a wonderful experience at Roost - we were in town for a short visit before a beach trip and we all debated cancelling the beach to stay here longer! All of the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay, but the housekeeping staff were especially pleasant, Steven even offered suggestions on what to do after we were leaving our room to checkout! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location made it easy to explore Tampa (despite most of our group flying in so we had limited vehicles). This hotel offered so many amenities we couldn’t even use them all - but my favorites were the gorgeous pool and complimentary coffee. I would highly recommend the Roost to anyone looking for an amazing hotel experience in Tampa - I will definitely be back!

Roost is my go to place to stay when I’m visiting Tampa. I’m a musician that works with a couple professional sports teams there and I come in town to perform often. That said, comfort luxury service, or just a few things that are standards for me, that I have found consistently with a Roost in The Roost staff. Roost located in one of the most sought after area in Tampa Bay. It’s surrounded by the hottest restaurant in Tampa. It’s across the street from Amalie Arena, and a short walk to Sparkman’s wharf. When I’m staying at Roost I don’t even rent a car, the best of everything is walking distance. Previously, I would stay at the Edition, because of the same qualities, but it is my conclusion that roost has far better amenities, much more space, equal, if not better quality, and a home style stay with washer, dryer, and full kitchen. It’s the same luxury I was getting for a fraction of the price and more of a comfortable experience. Tommy and Ivan are rock stars and the whole staff is 5 star, 24 hours around the clock. I could go on and on just trust me stay there and you will never stay anywhere else in Tampa Bay.

Wowed by service, and location, location, location. If you are looking for place to stay in Tampa ROOST is highly recommended. Property is well maintained, units are very clean, full kitchen, laundry unit in apartment, very spacious living space .So if you’re looking for long term or short stay for over the weekend, , couples, with children, pets, etc all you need is right there. Personal is so professional, helpful and caring. I was looking for weekend escape from work and it was nice retreat. Wonderful location and amazing service. All of the service of a luxury hotel, but the comfort and amenities of a high-end apartment. Stayed here in the midst of a week of traveling, and the highlight of my trip. The best water pressure in the state of Florida!
