My experience here was not what I would call pleasant at all. The floor in the room was so dirty u couldn't walk from the bathroom to the bed without the bottom of your feet being black, the handle to the shower just kept turning in circles because they didn't put the right screw in the handle to make it work properly. The one man whose name is Peterson was rude and always on his phone. I had to ask for clean sheets for the night I was having surgery the next day and we had to wait 3 hours for the front desk to bring them to me because he had forgot to inform whoever to bring a set up to my room. The house keeping ladies are great and never had any trouble getting what we needed. The room key wasn't fun either because everyday we had to go get reprogrammed or we couldn't get in our room. I'm not sure if this goes on in other hotels but when I pay over 1500 dollars to stay her for 10 days I guess I just expected a little better service and a lot cleaner and maintained room. The only good thing I can say about staying here is the bed was comfortable. I just hope that the manager gets this cleared up so someone else doesn't have the same experience, but how I look at it is if the manager honestly cared I wouldn't have had an experience like this so I'm pretty sure I will never stay in another one. I torn between 3 and 4 stars! Pros: Shuttle dropped off and picked up whenever you wanted. Staff was very nice! No bugs! Clean rooms! The bed is unbelievably comfortable! Hot water!!! Very πŸ”₯ Pretty blue pool Price. We paid under 190 for two nights! Cons: Yes, the place is renovated, BUT it was cheaply done. The wall fixtures are falling off the wall and are old. The pool floor is dirty, but at night its pretty. The lobby smells. I thought the worst, but the rooms are way better than the lobby. The phone was grimy. Suggestions Finish the upgrades and this place would be awesome!! I would recommend to a friend that is not picky about hotels.

First of all, let me start off by saying that the hotel is very dated and in need of some remodeling. That being said, my husband and I had a great time here. Our room was clean and maid service came everyday to make the bed, etc. The bar that they show is closed, but you can go down there with your own six pack. They've got three pool tables to play on. You just check the accessories out from the front desk. Breakfast was small, but nice. Coffee, juice, danishes, cereal, and they have a waffle maker which was kind of cool. Free shuttle service to hospitals or Busch gardens. Let me tell you, this hotel is 100% handicapped accessible. They even have a wheel chair lift next to the swimming pool. The rooms are laid out a little funky, but they have a fridge, wet bar sink, microwave, and a teeny balcony for smoking. ALL of the staff was great. Look, the hotel is dirt cheap. For what you pay, I think it was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 days. We chose this location because of the proximity to Busch Gardens. The pictures online looked reasonable. Driving near the hotel, I noticed we were surrounded by restaurants and stores. When we arrived at the hotel, I realized it had an element I did not like which was walking back outside from the lobby to get to my room. Ok, fine. No big deal. As soon as we walked into our room, I was hit with the smell of a pool locker room. Our room was directly across from the pool. The room was a bit musty. The A/C was on full blast. We went to turn the air on and the knob spun completely so you never really knew what temperature you were setting the room to. When the heat came on the room smelled terrible for about 20 minutes. Imagine the smell of the first heat in the winter times 10. The internet was absolutely horrible! I could never get a decent enough signal to go from one webpage to another. The room was a bit dated. They basically added new features to the old style of the room to make it appear more modern and updated but it only looked awkward and poorly done. The bathroom is ridiculously small. You would think that with the size of the rooms, you would have a bit more space in there. The housekeepers were shouting across the pool at 10 in the morning right outside our door. That was pretty rude and highly unprofessional. There was also music blaring from the bar near the pool almost every night but no one was at the bar nor in the pool. The pros of this hotel is that there are two swimming pools. Although we did not swim, there were a few nights I saw people enjoying the water. As stated above, there is a bar near the pool which is a plus in my opinion. The hotel overall seemed clean. I do like the layout of the room, having a living area and the bedroom separate. The bedroom was very spacious as was the living areas which came with a sink, mini fridge, microwave and a coffee pot. There was a little French style balcony/patio in our room. We did not go out but we did open the slider to knock off the smell in the room. I figured I could compromise a little comfort for cost but in my opinion, it wasn't worth it. I would recommend for anyone trying to save a buck but if you don't mind spending a little extra per night, I would recommend a different hotel.

Great service and attitude from staff. From front desk who checked us in early and changed our room to a more comfortable one, the maintenance people, drivers of the shuttle that saved us some $$ and to the dining room lady. The hotel is a little older but some is updated. Laminate floor in the room was a a great chance. We loved it!

Stayed here when we first moved to Tampa. Staff was the worst. One forced my oldest son out of the breakfast area because he didn't have on a shirt. Not a big deal, except that left my eight month old baby in an unsafe high chair by himself. When I complained to management they asked us to leave. Never stay here, never let anyone you know stay here either! HAPPY TO REPORT THIS PLACE IS NOW CLOSED!!!

Yes folks it's not nothing like the Best Western that once here . You have live in workers that just let there children's run wild of the place. Not safe to sleep here. A man got into with a older man and got thrown off the second floor balcony. You can only imagine what goes on in this place. Spend a little more money and stay on the East of Fowler Ave. East of 30th Street. Don't stay on Busch Blvd. Unless you like the action and don't wish to sleep.

Not the best but not the worst either. It's cheap but you get what you pay for. Rooms are nice just service and outside activities are lacking. The pool tables look like they were bought in the 70's without any repair the sticks are falling apart. You don't make enough revenue to buy new pool tables? And your pool. Who knows when the last time that was cleaned. Plus to top it off the WiFi wasn't working and the Lady at the front knew nothing about customer service and just apologized for the lack of customer service the hotel offers. She even apologized for the service. Plus water is cold, couldn't take shower in morning. Plus the housekeeping Lady just tried walking into our room and our neighbors room while we were still in there without knocking. This place is very shady, be careful! I will give the Lady in the kitchen props. She was amazing but besides her I wasn't impressed.

Nice hotel, convenient location with just minutes away from the park. We only stayed for a night but the double room suite was nice. There was a balcony and separate room with a pullout. It was small but just what we needed for the night. They pool is heated and they have an area to grill. There was a bar but didnt seem like it was used often. Breakfast is complimentary and it was too bad they have waffles bagels muffins and cereal, all which are self service. The price was low and the hotel was quiet. No complaints!

Our kids loved the pool. The beds were comfortable and the room was large. The room's floor had not been cleared. It turned my socks black from the bed to the bathroom. It had easy to clean tile floor so there was no reason it should not have been mopped. The ac wasn't cooling well so my husband checked the filter and it was SUPER dirty. We had to keep it out to get the room to cool off.

Super clean room and grounds. Love the squeaky clean floor and the beds are so comfortable. Spacious room, separate living/kitchen and bedroom.Only 2 mins to Busch Gardens and Adventure island, they also provide free shuttle! We usually stay at Marriott but this hotel definitely beat my expectations!! Super family oriented and great pool!!! I highly recommend it.

The hotel room was decent needs a little upgrading but it wasn't dirty. The pool was very nice and relaxing. They were build a deck behind the pool when we were there so I can wait to see how it turns out. The front desk was very helpful and we enjoyed ourselves.

Clean, quiet hotel and staff was very cool and professional. Rooms were big and private. You basically get two rooms for the price of one, will be bringing kids next time. Each room has it's own small private patio. Very close to everything, Busch gardens and Seminole Casino etc. Large gated property and had open outdoor layout, was still very safe and secure, doors to parking lot lock behind you and cameras everywhere. Has nice size clean pool and pool tables in common area. Would definitely recommend and will be staying there again!

Reception was great, got checked right in. Hotel was a bit dated but neat, clean and safe. The room was large and looked fairly recently remodeled. Location was good, close to Busch Gardens. Sadly, I had to leave before the breakfast started...

Nice property located next the Yuengling Brewery and right behind Bush Gardens. Room has a living room area with its own tv, kitchenette with a sink, small fridge and coffee maker. Loved the totally separate room, which makes this a real one bedroom suite. Small balcony. The common areas were well kept. Parking on the side was dark and so was the entrance to the building. Some of the lights in the room were missing bulbs, but understandable with this situation we are all in. They offer transportation to the park included in the rate which is great. The service was great and must certainly come back.
