The ranch here is absolutely spiritual. Every decision I’ve made in life, good or bad, has led me to District Tavern’s ranch. “Every road leads to Rome,” no, I believe every road leads to District Tavern’s ranch. I’ve had many a love in my life, but none come close to the sweet taste of their ranch on my tongue. Imagine the pristine tranquility of a field of blossoming flowers. The wind flows through your luscious hair. Every worry, every fret, every fear is lost to the whispers of the wind. This striking monologue, despite its wavering beauty, still cannot compare or begin to describe the taste of this ranch. No mere mortal lexicon can begin to describe the sensation of this ranch. Therefore, I will leave this essay as is, begging the reader to indulge and surrender themselves to the flavor.

I ordered from here via Uber eats. It was the most disgusting take out I have received. I ordered the mozzarella balls, they were clearly over cooked as the cheese was burnt and on the outside of the ball. I also ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread. It was so overloaded with Buffalo sauce it soaked through the “flatbread” and was glued to the bottom of the box. Finally, I got the chicken wrap, there was barely any chicken and all of the cheese was in one area of the wrap. The only thing even remotely edible were the French fries. Perhaps eating in the food is better but I won’t be wasting my time finding out. Skip this one.

Food was horrible I didn’t even finish it and I ALWAYS finish my food. Tasted very bland. Burger was dry, nachos didn’t taste good.. Cesar salad came with cheddar cheese???????? Wings were over cooked. Waited an hour to get such a dissatisfying meal. We went somewhere else to eat after this. I wouldn’t come here again. Our server was very kind though he’s the only thing that saved this review.

Our waitress, Cari was amazing! The bottomless mimosas kept coming and the service, atmosphere, and people were all great! I’d highly recommend!

Phenomenal! There’s not much more to say honestly. They have vegetarian options (which is awesome)…Our bartender, Armando, made the best drinks the entire time - kuddos for the lemon drops :-). Then Scott, our waiter, was super attentive, polite and very quick on his toes. Excellent experience! We will definitely be back soon.

Went to District Tavern on an early Saturday night just for drinks. Our server Scott was terrific; extremely friendly and attentive. Ended up getting the buffalo cauliflower as well, which came out fast and was very good. Generous pours on the drinks. Thanks!

This is my go-to spot to watch Lightning or Gator games. It's your standard all American menu but comes with way better flavor and drink options. My favorite menu item is the Power Bowl with Salmon and a Pink Whitney with grapefruit soda.

I like the food but the service here is so bad it’s sad: I’ve eaten here multiple times and every time (busy or slow) I Wait like 10 minutes before any server even acknowledges me. They never check on you. They take like 10-15 min just to bring you a drink/water (if they even remember)…..the service here is so bad that is draining.anything you ask them to do it takes like 20 minutes. You need a box? Have fun asking 3 times over and over. Need a refill. Have fun watching them walk by u and not acknowledge you and you can’t enjoy your meal because you keep trying Their get their attention. ready for your check? Have fun waiting 15 minutes just for then to bring your card back. Some of the bartenders are no better. There is a female who is particularly unfriendly. She served my boyfriend and I once and didn’t acknowledge us for 17 minutes when we walked in.

Had to come on here to appreciate our exceptional service tonight from our server Scott. I have a long background in the hospitality industry and i’ve genuinely never had better service than this(even compared to some 5-star steakhouses). he is so warm & welcoming, and made us feel so cared for the whole time we were at District Tavern. He went out of his way to help us get a heater by our table because we had our dogs and just really went beyond for us to feel comfortable. Could genuinely not ask for better service than this. If i could, i would request him every-time! Oh and the Tavern Shooters are a must try! If you can, try to get him as your server.. 10/10 service and food overall so happy with our experience!

Group had nachos (plus steak) and a three Buffalo wraps. Group consensus was the nachos were great and wraps were good. Bar was packed for the bolts playoff but service was as good as any packed bar I’ve seen

Loved this place. Great tavern with tons of tvs. Local sports bar with great food and service. On the river. Cool ambiance. Full service bar. Turkey club was perfect. French fries were really fabulous. Rockdale bar food but prepared just tough with decent prices and portions. Definitely recommend as a great place to hang with friends, watch the game and grab food and drinks. Would go back for sure!!

What can I say? Dani the waitress has been phenomenal all night and the food is amazing. And they have live entertainment!

Food wasn't bad. Nachos were good. My girlfriend had a grilled chicken sandwich with a small piece of chicken. I had the buffalo chicken Flatbread. That was pretty good. Waitress was very nice.

Randal the tall handsome spanish man, hands down best service and server. His recommendations on food and drinks were fantastic and just what we were looking for. He was attentive, friendly and hilarious 😂. We came to realize we have a love for dogs. His pup is cute but not as cute as mine 😉. Don’t let this one go, District Tavern. We were only in Tampa for one night, boarding a cruise ship the next day. We checked online to find a place for a quick dinner, within walking distance of our hotel. The District Tavern fit the bill. The outside decor is very subdued, nondescript. If we hadn't been looking for it specifically, we probably would have walked right by. Once inside, there are several choices of seating. We seated ourselves and were quickly greeted by a server. After taking our drink order and leaving menus, she returned quickly to take our order. We decided to get grilled chicken wraps. As we waited, we noticed they did a good amount of local take-out orders. That is always a good sign. The wraps were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and they were excellent. Great simple meal, but fresh, hot and delicious. If you are in the Tampa Port area, I would definitely recommend this location.

Definitely recommend. Great vibe and energy, with a cute view of a little dog park. Food was enjoyable and had great variety. Our server, Lejla, was amazing. She was attentive, constantly checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Great conversation and very knowledgeable about the menu (especially since I’m vegetarian). Will be back :)

This place had the worst customer service in the world! Once we sat, our server which was an amazing girl said that it was a slow night. She said our food will be out shortly. We were the only people in the bar eating. We waited 50 minutes and all we got were our drinks. All of the staff were talking and lounging around. Only the bar tender was actually working and so was our server. DO NOT EAT HERE! They don’t care about your time at all!

Let me tell you, that food EXCEEDED my expectations. My buddy comes here often because it’s walking distance for him, so I figured it would be good bar food. But I didn’t expect to walk out of there feeling like a new man. The Tavern burger 🔥 the Mac & cheese 🤌🏼 absolute art.

Had a great experience at DT! Great service from a handsome server named Diego. Took care of all our needs and did so with the sweetest smile along with great humor. Made the whole experience feel personalized. 10/10 would recommend and 100% will be coming back.

Best burger in Channelside!! Delicious, high quality meat and ingredients and great portion size as well! I get the Backyard BBQ burger and am never disappointed, it comes with a generous portion of extra crispy French fries as well. The staff is great, super friendly and work extremely hard, every time I place an order for pick up they always have it ready and waiting for me when I arrive. Dining in is also great, plenty of space to breathe and move around and also a wide array of T.V’s if you are watching sports. Overall, this little gem is a 10/10 and exceeds expectations in every single category. Food, service, environment and price. Looking forward to continuing to explore their menu!

I sat at the bar which was pretty nice. The whole place has a nice vibe. I can see this place being swamped on game days. The Tavern Burger was pretty tasty and the Mac N cheese was on point too. Reason for the four stars is the bartenders seemed to operate on a series of head nods from a distance. I was waiting to order for a while and when they finally came over it was with a “sup”? Then once I finally got their attention again after the meal it was just a check drop. No interaction. No “how was it”. Just done.

First time did not disappoint us! Our server Dani was attentive and really nice. We enjoyed the chicken wrap and steak quesadilla! The District Nights cocktail was my favorite topped with a salty rim. All that to say we will be stopping by before hockey games since the trolley stop is not too far away. 5 stars!

The short of it, food is fantastic and the staff is fast and wildly friendly. Couple that with a great location that's perfect to start your night or finish your night and you have a true downtown staple for Tampa. It's also a great place to catch lightning or Bucs games but get there early on event days, it fills up fast!

I really enjoyed this place and I have to tell you our server was excellent. Danielle got everything with our large party done correctly and she was extremely professional and made sure she was very tentative towards us each and every minute we were there. We will most definitely be requesting Danielle from now on!! I’m am Craving the burger!!!

We came for a couple night out and we had a fabulous time. The food was really good, we had burgers and appetizers. The drinks were great. Our server Danielle was so prompt in her service and going above and beyond. We will be back!

The music and food was great. We also had an amazing server named Josh that even listened to our stories about our friendship during our girls’ day brunch. Very personable

First impression: I walked in and saw 3 wait staff behind the bar who all ignored me as I sat at a table. It was not very busy. My waitress didn't introduce herself and didn't seem to respect me as a customer. By that I mean she prioritized grabbing a paid ticket and cleaning a table before getting my water or taking my order. Food: A good sized menu with options, rather pricey but for the area it's normal, pending the quality of the food. The Tavern Burger, ordered medium came out well done. I asked specifically for mayo and none was served. My waitress did not bring ketchup out for the fries. It took over 5 minutes to get the condiments after I had been served. The burger patty itself was bland regardless of the brisket it was supposed to be made with. No grill marks. The brioche bun was not noticeable toasted. Overall, the food experience was a 3*, the service was 2*. (She was nice enough, but I waited 10 minutes for her to notice I was done before I went and paid my ticket at the bar.) Thanks, but I'll eat elsewhere.

This place looked pretty good online and we ordered takeout. Got mozz balls that were 10$ with no cheese in them. Fries tasted like nothing, cauliflower wings were soggy. Such a waste of money and time.

I’ve had brunch here once before with my friends and while the service was slow that time, it was at least good. Today I met a friend for lunch and the young lady (Emily according to my check) was serving the whole bar by herself. I understand that can be a lot for one person but I dont think that the service I received was acceptable. I had to wave her down after an hour of being there and not getting the correct drink. And when I did wave her down she questioned whether i wanted a check, yet the only thing she had given me was a water… I explained that I wanted to order food actually and I met with a nasty attitude and visible frustration from her. The only reason any of this even bothered me was that every other person in the restaurant ordered food and not a single other person got this response from her. Not sure what I personally did to this young lady as literally all I did was ask for a sweet tea. Definitely won’t be eating here again. The sandwich I had was okay, but definitely not worth having to wait 2 hours for just because my server apparently doesn’t want me to eat?

This place is an awesome bar with a great staff and good food. Good place to watch a Lightning game or drink then walk down to a Lightning game. See Tati or Heather they are amazing!!!

Great atmosphere, but it's definitely more targeted towards drinking. Service was extremely slow. The shooters on the snack menu were good, the shooter part seemed to be a tomato Basil soup.

Cute neighborhood style bar. Got a bit rowdy and the staff handled it beautifully. We only tried appetizers and they were bought out fast and enough to share with whole table. Buffalo cauliflower was delicious, get that! Menu prices were reasonable for the area. We will be back.

Likely the best Impossible Burger I’ve ever had (the patty is nearly an inch thick). Unlike a lot of places that serve the Impossible Burger, District Tavern uses a vegan bun and offers vegan cheese. Fantastic food and even better service from Emma. Highly recommended!!!

What a great restaurant! I am travelling from outside of the United States and the staff here really made it a comfortable environment. They were kind to have a chat with and got me hyped for the Bolts game this weekend. Food was spectacular. Try the Mozzarella Balls, there delicious!

First time trying this place on a holiday, st Patricks, which probably wasn't the best idea, the staff was very overwhelmed. You wall in and have to guess what to do. Drinks are kind of pricey. The Irish mule, which was on special was 14 dollars. Cancel my order cause it took forever to get the food. The food I did see people get look great. I do plan to give them another try. Stuff we're nice, but I had no idea who actually work there most of the time. Atmosphere was great for date night. I will revise my rating on next visit

Spur of the moment late lunch since we were in the area. Easy to find place that's right next to the city parking garage ($8). Atmosphere was lacking energy and aesthetics (in all fairness, it was a Wednesday afternoon), but that was quickly made up by the service and food quality. Good variety of dishes and drinks. Service was timely and with a smile. If I could award stars for cleanliness it would be a 3. Table still had glass marks and crumbs from the last patrons and the utensils had bad soap scum. Food was on point, however. Full of flavor and quality ingredients. Every bite was eaten, lol. My only other concern is paying $20 for 3 sodas/tea and a local beer which put us close to $100 for a family of 4. Didnt see that one coming.

Me and a couple friends stopped by here for dinner late night after a boxing event, the food was good overall and the fries were especially awesome, both crispy and flavorful. Cari was our waitress and she did an amazing job! Once we arrived, she informed us that the food would be taking longer than usual due to the event rush, and we greatly appreciated that info. She was extremely kind and attentive, her service was an 11/10 and she definitely deserves a raise. Will definitely come again if in the Tampa area in the future.

My favorite neighborhood bar. I am here probably 2-3 times a week and the staff is always friendly. Kate and Tyler are the best bartenders you can ask for. Food is always on point.

I went to DT recently to catch up with a friend. Fun environment. I had the smash burger but made into a wrap. Our server Randy who was awesome suggested it. It was so good. I also had a whiskey Margarita and it was yummy! Randy made the overall experience memorable. I will return!

Had a great time dining at District Tavern. We were a table of 7 and all have never been. All visiting for the Volleyball Final 4. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. Our waitress Danielle was amazing. Very personable, fun, and helpful with whatever we needed.

Here visiting and heard about district tavern. We came in during their 80s night and loved this place. it was so much fun and our server Bre was great.
