I had my birthday dinner at this beautiful restaurant. I love the interior. It’s very calm n gorgeous … I had “Bouillabaisse BT” as my dinner. It was heaven … That’s the answer I gave to our server when he asked about the food … Great service, great food, great restaurants … I hope to go there again … Trust me, u gonna love this too … ❤️

An amazing experience! We did not expect how elegant and delicious the food would be. The dishes from appetizers to desserts were well thought out and perfectly planned. If you’re craving Vietnamese cuisine you should go! If you’re craving French cuisine, you should go!

Why am I just finding out about this place? The food is out of this world! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Meats are tender and well seasoned. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. Service is superb! Definitely one of the top restaurants in Tampa.

Wow. What an amazing experience! Great food, great service, great ambiance. Right from the beginning, our servers made us feel so welcome and appreciated. While the dining room was small, it felt intimate and romantic with the dim, warm lighting and thoughtful decor. Per our servers’ recommendations, we ordered the crab rolls and escargot as appetizers, the burrata salad, and the stuffed squid rolls and chicken special as entrees to share. Every bite was delicious and each plate came with an abundance of fresh herbs and micro greens straight from their on-site garden. Everything was so fresh and delightful (we ate everything on each plate including the herbs!) To finish it off, we ordered the ginger creme brûlée which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Restaurant BT is such a special and unique experience and is truly a gem of the Tampa dining scene. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Beautiful way to spend an evening. Food was gorgeous and tasted even better. So many great flavors presented in a well rounded and elegant way. The coconut rice was my favorite, but everything was excellent. I loved how many veggies were served with the dishes. Entrees are pricier, but quality and flavor so delivered. Service was great. Wine list had more boutique producers too.

The service was great - thank you, Erin. The food was extraordinary. We will return. Pictured here: dumplings, lemon grass chicken (on special) and bread pudding. Two apps, two entrees, two desserts, one bottle of saki was $230 without tip.

I just don't understand why people fight to get into restaurants that are so very clearly inferior to this one, when they have availability here. This is a fantastic place. Please stop eating standard steak and pasta every night. Come here and expand your flavor palate with a mix of Vietnamese and French cuisine. Share everything so you can really appreciate the offerings. And the decor is lovely. We sat on the back patio surrounded by orchids, bamboo and water features. Service was impeccable. Please don't be scared to expand your culinary experiences and come here now!

It's a great place for a romantic date. The full experience was 5 stars. We both ordered saketinis, and we adored our flavors. My cucumber mint was delightful and my husband had the lychee mint. We started with the special appetizer, King salmon, and fresh coconut poke 🥥. The presentation was fantastic it was served in half a fresh coconut. We had the beef tartar which had a unique twist and elevated the traditional dish to another level. Last, we shared the duck duck goose entree. I was craving foie gras, and it did not disappoint. The staff made the whole experience memorable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they really made it a special night. Son was our server/bartender (Please forgive if I misspelled her name), and she was very knowledgeable and pleasant. A restaurant should feel like a home, and the guests should be treated as guests of that home, and this would be nothing short of that experience.

Great service, delicious food, and nice atmosphere! It’s a little small inside and may be noisy. Also, there is not a view/scenery. Take good company and you’ll love it.

Restaurant BT was definitely worth the splurge! It's a Vietnamese-French fine dining exerience, and the flavors were unique and amazing. Service was attentive and not pretentious. Beautiful space for a romantic, foodie night out or elevated adult gathering. Definitely call for a reservation, online reservation system is not always up to date.

BT has been called the "Godmother" of Tampa fine dining and for good reason. It's been a few years since dining in her landmark location and things have changed yet stayed the same. Love the new look in the dining room, the curtains create an allure of private and fancy experience I've only seen done at Ciro's. Such an elegant touch when you walk through the place. Service is prompt yet never rushed. We started with a Burgundy red because a meal of this level deserves a wine to match! The wine list is extensive and covers the bases for any true wine lover. We had the great honor of sitting in the smaller back room next to Chef BT. We were worried about bringing our 4month old to dinner but she welcomed him during the Friday 8pm dinner rush! The pace of dinner was amazing, plenty of time to enjoy our wine and enjoy the date out with my wife. Food was incredible- specially the soup and the duck!

We came here for my wife’s birthday after she had expressed interest for several months. Our waiter Chris was excellent, and jumped in with our silly banter. The layout of the restaurant is a bit unusual. We entered through what we thought was the main entrance and walked right through a part of the kitchen. As a small restaurant owner that would drive me insane, but no biggie. The decor is nice given what they’re having to work with. Now, onto the food; presentation was good, and most of the dishes were very tasty, unusual, but tasty. Definitely misses a lot of the Vietnamese flavor profiles, but the dishes are still excellent. We all enjoyed the Pumpkin soup, the Tuna tartare with Rice chips, sushi rolls, Duck burritos, Calamari Relleno, Yellowfish, Noodles with Prawns, some kind of a steak bento box, and the Foie Gras. The Foie Gras was paired with roasted Duck leg, and was some of the best Foie Gras I’ve ever eaten. For dessert they brought out a birthday treat for the wife, and we also tried the crossiant bread pudding, and another dish that I don’t recall the name of. Yes, there’s sticker shock from the elevated price point, but if you’re looking for a quiet spot to dine with friends and eat a unique take on traditional foods, this is a good spot.

FUSION AT ITS FINEST! the French and Vietnamese fusion has been around for a century now. I will say BT really nails it. You can really taste the Vietnamese dishes with touches of French flavor. A few favorites of the night consisted of the escargot, hog fish special, and the to-die-for croissant bread pudding topped with ice cream. Wow was the dessert amazing!

Wow wow wow! I can’t wait to go back! First time here after a recent experience with shaken beef in Los Angeles. Coming back home to Tampa I saw BT serves it….DELICIOUS! The beef dumplings were fantastic, as well as the croissant bread pudding! The staff were pleasant and very attentive, kudos to BT!!

We ate at BT last Tuesday. I had the beef tartar and scallops. My wife ate the duck burrito and snapper. The food was good, we expected more flavor and savory food. The atmosphere was noisy with a group of people selling annuity’s to a man whom arrived late. The service was excellent.

100% top 5 places in the surrounding areas to dine at. All of the ingredients are curated carefully in which each bite bursts out unique flavors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has an open mind and well rounded palate.
