A gem of a place that’s great for a quick lunch(under 30 min visit). The food arrived quickly and on point! Our table mostly ordered either the shrimp or oyster po boy sandwiches. Decent price and delicious! The best part? The waitress was super nice and attentive! Most definitely a repeat for lunch when I’m in the area again.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Ybor City, Tampa. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best seafood meal we had while in Tampa. Highly recommend!

Just a great call, after a hard pass on a 2 hour wait at another location. I had to try something new and the Mofongo, stuffed with shrimp and topped with shrimp was amazing. Lots of flavors and textures which all blend an compliment. Not to much an any one thing. And that Shrimp Po-Boy my wife snagged. Well let me just say, I got to sample some of that too. Come on by and come hungry! Worth the walk through downtown with an 82 y.o. In a wheel chair!

Ate here yesterday and the food was absolutely fantastic! I could’ve eaten the fried green tomatoes ALL day. The shrimp and Grouper were cooked to perfection, the shrimp coleslaw was very tasty, and the red potatoes were delicious also. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I’ll get her name on my next visit, because I’m definitely coming back here very soon.

Great selection of Caribbean-inspired seafood dishes and Gulf Coast favorites. Quirky decor and friendly staff. The place was fairly crowded on a Saturday evening, but we got a table right away. Waitstaff seemed a little overwhelmed at times but everything worked out.

Had a late lunch here today. The food was very fresh and hot when they brought it out. Had great flavor. My husband had the fried shrimp and they were delicious. I had the fried tilapia basket it was also very good. Highly recommend

This is some real good eatin' The fried shrimp are delicious, but the fried oysters are over the top good. It was so good I had to order an extra to go fried oyster combo. Poboy bread could be a bit better considering all the Cuban bread in the area, but the bread they use is more than adequate for a poboy Boiled shrimp had good flavor, but nothing too special with these. They weren't overcooked which seems to happen fairly often, so that's a plus Also, the fries are like extra battered/crispy...real good Beer is nice and cold too Good service. I would be at this spot all the time if I lived nearby

A great place for casual seafood in Ybor City. Choose from a variety of shrimp dishes, steam pots, platters and po'boys. Nice selection of appetizers as well. The seafood was fresh and tasted great.

First time here. Wonderful tasting seafood. I had the green mahi sandwich with red potatoes and hush puppies (not pictured). The shrimp basket was also very good.

The shrimp and crab were so delicious here at this restaurant. On this Sunday evening, it was not crowded at all inside. The service was superb, and food came out quickly.

Friendly staff, huge portions of very flavorful food! Very unassuming but great atmosphere. Prices seemed higher than anticipated and that is the reason for four stars.

The Mafongo is to die for. Stuffed with shrimp, perfectly grilled and smothered with tomato sauce that is exquisitely flavored and beautifully presented, it gives you a world-class feel. It's definitely a bang for your buck.

This was my first time here and everything was amazing. Customer Service greeting and seating, our waiter and the food was so fresh. I had Shrimp Empanadas and Fried Green Tomatoes and they were both so very good.

Our server Natalia was wonderful. The shrimp po boy with the crab dip was the best of both worlds. The food was seasoned well and crispy.

It's been a month since the last time we were here on vacation but I can't stop thinking about it!! Loveddd the menu, decor, food, service, even the bathroom was cute! The fried green tomatoes are delish and the Shrimp Mofongo tastes just like I was in Dominican Republic. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Florida. Thank you!

Fresh Seafood, Great Grouper Sandwich Oysters were very Fresh and well prepared. Blackened Grouper sandwich very well prepared and tasted awesome

Simple but unique decoration. Our waitress was fantastic and patient when answering our questions. Food was flavourful and portions were easily sharable.

Came to this restaurant for the fresh catch crawfish that were advertised. Before ordering we asked the waiter if the crawfish were fresh and alive when thrown into the pot. He replied yes they are fresh from the bay right here in Tampa. He also mentioned having a local market where they get the crawfish. When the order came out, you could tell they were definitely frozen. There were no claws and no legs. On top of that there is a distinct taste difference between fresh and frozen crawfish. When we talked to the waiter about this, his reply was he thought we were asking if the crawfish were fresh as in “cooked today” but the confirmed that yes they are frozen. If you like previously frozen crawfish, this is your place. If you want fresh catch crawfish that are alive when you throw them in the pot to boil, do your research and go somewhere else.

This place is soooooo good. The food is FRESHHHH. Everything was delicious and the staff were very helpful. My only complaint is that they only serve beer and a like 3 types of wine.

A quaint fish fry and grill. Wife liked the shrimp scampi, side of fried green tomatoes nice touch. My stuffed chicken breast was really two thin breast fillets grilled to dryness. Their snow crab legs platter(market price) looked good. Prices are competitive. Stick to the fish, which they have your typical choices.

Such a cool spot to eat! Simple dining spot, with the red checkered tablecloths, and plenty of atmosphere. The food was amazing. The hush puppies are a must buy!! Had the Louisiana steam pot and it was every bit as good as we've had outside New Orleans.

1st timers and will return. Such a cute and fun decorated place. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable but I didn't catch her name. We came in around 11:30am today. Food was fresh and delish! Shrimp and seafood EVERYTHING! Generous portions as well. The prices are higher but you get what you pay for. I mean there is shrimp in their coleslaw!! Yes please! The red potatoes had great flavor and real, fresh cheese. Hush puppies (8 in an order) were moist and yum. I'm so used to them being dry at other establishments. I had the grilled shrimp po boy and my friend got the fried po boy. They have something special here and we will be ecstatic, returning customers. 🥰🥰 **Pics are from half way eating. "Grouper blacked sandwich" also very flipping tasty! and my friend ordered the "fried grouper basket" and was also super happy with it. Juan was our server and he did great. Attentive and chatty. Let's get Into it.... First the onion rings ....super delish! Second the clam basket...father in heaven, I could hurt myself eating this (I didn't though). They class, fries and that pink sauce it is so fantastically amazing. The spicy shrimp slaw I could just sit and eat continuously. My husband had the Florida Steam pot and I was all up in his plate too!!! 😂😂😂 The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is wonderful! This a good chill date night spot!
