Classy restaurant, and pricey. Located in south Tampa. Take your first date here if you can afford it 😁 I liked the food, portion sizes were smaller than what I expected. Greta ambiance and decor ( see pictures). Mostly Italian cuisine with a variety of pastas. It is located under a multilevel parking so very easy to get to( (parking is free), so some saving there. Make sure you get reservations in advance, could be difficult to get prime evening hours spots. Overall I recommend👍🏼

Sooo Timpano Hyde Park was a pleasant surprise to my taste buds. The atmosphere was a greenery concept with a social vibe. The perfect place for a date or dinner with friends. I sat at the bar to get a good view and I was by myself. The staff was friendly but not as attentive as I'd hoped. Overall, the food was so delicious I will return to try more of the menu. Note, the sides are a good size for two people in my opinion. What was ordered: Scottish Salmon / Creamed Spinach / Smoked Gorgonzola Gnocchi Scottish Salmon = Perfect herbs combo Creamed Spinach = Yummy - add a lil salt (I have a salt problem) Smoked Gorgonzola Gnocchi = Order seconds!

A lovey dinner spot! Everything was great. You definitely pay top dollars for the ambiance of the place. Pro tip: make reservations ahead of time!!

A beautiful eatery and bar! We came for drinks before a cooking class. I want to go back....NOW after seeing the cheese wheel/pasta served table side 😋 All food coming from a bustling kitchen looked phenomenal. Our drinks were delicious. We ordered a side of truffle fries....by 2:30 their tots were sold out. We couldn't taste the truffle but they were pretty good. They have large outdoor area to eat and it's covered. They're also pet friendly. Great place!!

UPDATE: Came back with some out of town friends. We ordered the pasta prepared in the Parmigiana wheel. What awesome flavour! It’s a must to try with two or more! Tried Timpano and arrived @ 5p for a pick of seats at the bar. Service by Holly was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed some bourbon and some delicious eats as per the pics. Got a little loud when the place filled up @ 6p. Definitely recommend for wonderful Italian eats.

What a great time ! The entrance, which resembles the perfect picture offers an inviting welcome to the guests. Dimmed lights in the restaurant with clean & spacious interior offers guests to enjoy their dinner privately. Every single dish we ordered was delicious! The waitress was very helpful in helping us navigate through wines & the dines. The pesto wheel is the star of the show (pst. Ask for extra pesto when they make it in front of you). All pasta was fresh! Upgrade recommendation: the bread, could be warmer & softer which will allow it to be eaten with all meals. Ask waitress portion size if sharing with others!

Service with Mya was on point. I love that they could accommodate removing the sausage from the stuffed mushroom option; it helps me have more choices. I ended up with the whipped ricotta toast though and it was light and delicious. Really hit the spot! Beautifully decorated as well.

I went to Tímpano for my birthday 10/22 and unfortunately did not get the experience I was expecting at all. The hostess was very kind and sat us quickly as well as acknowledged it was my birthday so that was wonderful I appreciated the warm welcome. However they sat us right where the entryway is for the customers and servers so we had constant traffic right behind my back. Our server was not up to par he did not know it was my birthday until we asked for the check so it did not feel special at all even though they set up the table for a birthday. I was not thrilled with the menu selections either. They had about 6 signature cocktails none of which were sweet. When the waiter did eventually realize it was my birthday he asked if he could bring out a complimentary dessert. It was vanilla ice cream. I wish he would’ve asked if I had a preference because I honestly don’t like vanilla ice cream at all ! The food we got was the pesto pasta table experience and for me that was the best part of the dinner the man who came out and performed the service was very knowledgeable and kind. Overall I did not enjoy the atmosphere or experience and don’t expect I will be coming back again. This is definitely not the vibe I would personally choose for fine dining or to celebrate a birthday.

Visited this Fancy Restaurant for a nice dinner, and we were not disappointed. From the absolutely beautiful decor to the scrumptious food options. Definitely recommend the spaghetti, it is made in front of your table and was delicious. Everything was great and would recommend checking out this place for a nice dinner.

It's a very classy restaurant. Servers were quite hospitable. Ordered half of the entrées & all of the deserts on the menu. Radiatore (recommended by the server) was amazingly tasty! All the dishes are expensive but I would say worth it. The restaurant was almost full on a Tuesday evening.

We enjoyed our Parm to table experience with delicious pesto pasta, and Caesar salads! I just wish with the Parmesan wheel it was just a more Creamier texture of the blend of cheeses. Overall, for our first time visiting, it’s a beautiful, aesthetic motif with gorgeous BoHo vibes, and we will definitely be back to try other menu options.

If you are looking for a romantic and upscale date night, make sure to stop by this spot! The decor was aesthetically pleasing and creative. Even a cool scooter is featured in one of the photo spots. The dining experience was exceptional. Staff were detail-oriented. They pay close attention to every detail. The menu is pricey, however, the food was above average. As a date night hotspot, I highly recommend Timpano.

Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Hyde Park. Suggest to make reservations for Friday and Saturday nights as it’s pretty busy. The lighting and ambience is very pleasant. The staff is professional and courteous and the food came out with a good cadence. The food is elegantly presented and flavorful. The wine and drink selection is ample and refined. I highly suggest the truffle aranciana.

This place has never disappointed. The espresso martini is delicious! And we really enjoyed the bottle of prosecco with choice of three juices. The food was amazing, and those tots were the size of four large potatoes! Def will be getting the pasta rolled in the parm bowl again soon!

We went during lunch I'm assuming because the menu wasn't expansive...but, what they did have was delicious and we WILL be back. We ordered the cavatelli pasta. It was really good. It had sausage, broccoli and it had a little kick to it, which I like. We also ordered the new steak sandwich and it was really good. The steak was juicy and the portion size is enough for 2 (unless you're really hungry). I also ordered a frozen Strawberry Aperol Spritz..well 2 of them. So needless to say it was very good and really good on a hot day.

This restaurant drew us in with its beautiful renovations and the food does not disappoint. We had brunch here and the menu was very unique and upscale. We went with breakfast foods, and both our meals were very flavorful. I also like the portion size here. We were nicely filled without being uncomfortably stuffed. Next time we want to try the pasta. The table next to ours was having a pasta dish prepared tableside on a cheese wheel. It looked fabulous!

very disappointed of the food. we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and because of the reviews we were very excited to dine at this place. My daughters even skipped lunch just to enjoy their dinner. i ordered the Bucatini and it was cold, one of my daughter order filet mignon and it was cold in the middle, my other two daughters order the rosted chicken and it was dry and uncooked in the center, my husband order Rigatoni and it was ok but warmed not hot. at the end we ended up still hungry. I didn’t complain about it because my kids get embarrassed when i do that and I didn’t want to spoil more my daughter’s B-day. We spent about $300 for cold and uncooked food, we will never come back for sure.

What a great experience. The ambiance is nice, the service was excellent and the food was superb. We had the macaroni experience and it was delicious. They make this dish table side. We added salmon and chicken. It was all so flavorful. Definitely give this a try. We'll be back!

A nice, upscale, modern Italian style restaurant. It's prices are a little inflated for what you're eating. But the atmosphere is really what you are paying for. It's a romantic restaurant with classic food. The table side bucattini with pesto is amazing! Overall a great experience.

Went for brunch on a Sunday and all I can say is WOW. Our waitress was superb and the food amazing. And I'm not a fan of pasta but when it's done right I really enjoy it. The drinks really worth it and they also make sure you like what you get and if not they fix it. We will be back 100%

I came in to celebrate one of my best friends birthday. My first time at this restaurant, and I was truly disappointed. The ambiance is cute, the drinks are absolutely delicious, but the food sucks. My Salmon was extra salty, the veggies were over cooked, and we waited quite a while to get our food. This place was not even on peak hours. I will probably return for drinks, and appetizers, but will not recommend it to any of my friends. I also thought it was crazy how I ordered a drink and their machine wasn't working, an appetizer, they didn't have, and the birthday gelato was out of stock.

It was a perfect experience, we ordered the burrata, impeccable the presentation, pistachio butter was tasty and the tomato jam perfectly made. We also had de Giorgio’s meatballs, the red sauce perfectly seasoned, it taste like home. The next we ordered was the parm to table experience, the pasta that’s made by them, was perfectly cooked, “al dente” and the pesto absolutely wonderful, it’s a lot of pasta, and salmon on the side, the salmon was perfectly cooked, soft, and not overcooked. And for dessert we ordered the tiramisu, it was smooth, and the presentation was absolutely impeccable. We also tried the dulce de leche gelato, it’s a must try ! The whole experience was perfect, the environment of the place, the service ! Thank you to Juan, friendly waiter and took the time to explain how they make some plates.

Great spot for lunch. My guest and I found the noise level to be to much for our preference. Outside is a great option when it’s cooler out. Loved the Negroni and the staff was super attentive.

My husband and I went on Thursday 7, 2023 for our dinner anniversary. From the moment we entered this place, the energy was special. First, Amber welcomed us with a spectacular and genuine smile, congratulated us on our anniversary, and she herself happens to be our server. The food was really delicious but OMG the kindness of our servers made this moment really special. Guillermo and Amber you are a great asset to this place. We will back for sure another special occasion.

I have been to Timpano @ Hyde Park a few times in 2015, 2016 and 2017 before they remodeled and once after, just recently. I really wanted to fully enjoy this absolutely lovely, inside and outside, updated restaurant. Service was superb, especially by the hostess who accommodated us in less that 3 minutes. However, in my opinion, the food is still just okay. We came in for appetizers and drinks since we were not regulars at Timpano before they re-opened. Wanted to try their new menu. We opted in for Iceberg and Mediterranean Tuna Tartare - both were 3/5. Drinks, Lemon Drop and Moscow Mule, were 5/5. Location is perfect, though. Easy free parking at multiple garages nearby. Also, you can watch beautiful people walk around at a well-kept area of Hyde Park. I have not tried their brunch yet. Hopefully it will be more impressive than appetizers. 4 solid stars.

Great place, dog friendly. Good food, amazing Wagyu beef carpaccio. Pork chop was a little dry but great seasoning. Didn't care much about Tuna in Bacon 🤷‍♂️. Very tasty Herb roasted mushrooms. Outstanding service! A little loud closer to bar.

Tasted a few items and I was surprised to see how unique and flavorful each were with the eggplant and the rigatoni pasta being my top favorites (must try). What I loved the most is that the menu had a good variety with several different options of seafood, beef cuts, and pasta. Our waitress Bella was sweet, kind, and knowledgable with the menu. The ambiance was nice, chill, dimmed lighting with a classy bar area. Price was good. I highly recommend for a nice and chill dinning experience.

Fish and pasta were delicious. I really enjoyed the snapper. Cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is nice but extremely loud. Our service was excellent from Taylor. I would definitely return, but possibly on a weekday.

I cannot say enough good things about Timpano! Everything was absolutely excellent, from the ambiance, to the cocktails, to the service, to the food. Everything was amazing! I highly recommend Timpano. The lobster ravioli was delectable! And if you've never had whipped ricotta drizzled with honey, you haven't lived. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or girl's night. Do yourself a favor and experience Timpano. You won't be disappointed!

Came to Timpano recently to celebrate a coworker who is going abroad for an entire school year. The place is amazing. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table. It did not take long to be seated (we also came in early at 7pm). Our waitress was great, she explained the menu to us and was incredibly attentive. We had the meatballs as appetizer (super tasty), then the parm to table as our main course. That was the reason we went there and did not disappoint!

This place is for Instagram and clout chasing, there ather places in the area that may offer better food. This is in no way to hurt a business someone works hard to build. The crowds this restaurants is catering to rarely visit a place twice. The best way to enjoy this place is with a group of four or more people. I believe there's inflation in products and services and then there notoriety inflation.The food is ok, the service is polite and the atmosphere is picture worthy

Beautiful Beautiful Atmosphere scenery gives a Florida vibe the love how they outside was filled with oranges 🍊. We made a reservation so we were seated pretty quickly once seated we were given our waters and placed drink orders the drink I had was a strawberry drink it was very tasty so that was a big plus for me. We proceeded to make our food order while enjoying really great music. I wanna say it took about an hour and 20 mins to finally receive our food. By them time we got the food our drinks were gone and our waters had been refilled at least 4 times. I had shrimp and grits and it was very flavorful but a small portion. I gave them 3 stars because when I went to eat my silverware was dirty and the portion size.
