This place is the bomb. Service is top notch. They have a very good collection of beer on draft. The one i tried was excellent and delicious. The Rockefeller oysters are put off this world but disappointed they didn't give me more :) The blackened mahi is tender. Tasty. Flavorful. Juicy. Fries are hot. Location is right on the bay with the view of boats and downtown. Prices are considered cheap for the area and the service and the quality. Highly highly recommended.

We chose this place mainly for the view and we were able to enjoy a great sunset sitting outside. I ordered the corvina and it tasted pretty good. The amount of food though was way too little given the $30+ price. My boyfriend ordered the seared tuna and pasta. The pasta was very dry and bland. We told our server about this situation when he came to check in with us, which was 15 min after the food was served by the way. We didn’t receive any apology or any compensation other than “I will tell the chef about this.” We also waited about 10 minutes for the check. And what’s funnier, we weren’t given a pen for the check… The two stars are for the environment and the corvina. But for the price, we are expecting way better service.

The food was delicious. We had the Lobster Ravioli and the Seafood Combo. Scallops were perfect cooked however the lobster in the combo left a bit to be desired. The portions are good serving but not quite worth the price but the food was super tasty and made for a great experience.

Great drinks, tasty food, and the view was great. It’s one of those places you go to when family and friends come into town. Make sure you make a reservation!

We stopped by before 5 pm (Dinner time). The good news was it was Happy Hour. The bartender, KJ gave us a couple samples of their craft beer. He took the time to explain all of the flavors. I tried the 3 daughters beach blond ale. Very good. My wife had the Shellfish Combo (recommended by KJ). She said the Corn Risotto was great! I ordered The Good Death flatbread. This, without a doubt is the best pie I've had since I left Jersey. Nice thin crust and good taste. What a pleasant surprise this place was!

For friday evening we booked the reservation at Watervüe Grill. Watervüe Grill is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing decor and water-views. They have their own bar and offers seafood for lunch and dinner. When we entered the restaurant at the register we were seated on the table and greeted by our server Faith with menus and water. After exploring the menu we decided to order Sangria for the drink, Red Chill Rubbed Corvina, Butter Braised Potatoes and Shrimp & Grits. The service was also good and first I got my drink i.e. Sangria which was home made. Soon we got our food too. The shrimp and grits was good in taste with shrimp perfectly blackened. The fish and potatoes was also good. The seafood was good. The portions were good but not quite worth the price. A great experience with the waterfront views.

Absolutely phenomenal. Seems to be a hidden gem! Went here for my birthday, I am a Chicagoan and we have tons of great restaurants so I have been super selective of the places I’ve gone in Tampa so far. The reviews did not disappoint on Watervue- not only was the view fantastic, every single thing we ordered was perfect. The current charcuterie board was seriously the best I’ve ever had. Everything from the crab fried rice, mashed potatoes, Mexican street corn was phenomenal. Our entrees continued this trend and my salmon with picked onions on a bed of risotto was to die for. We ended our meal with a salted Carmel cheesecake which was not too salty or sweet. Excellent experience, our waiter was exceptional as well and the locals were super friendly too! 20/10 experience.

This is a hidden gem in Tampa. Food was delicious. From the hostest all the way to the kitchen the service was impeccable. Long time we haven't received this type of service. Their manager Melanie, is very sweet as all her staff. They are helpful and accommodating to their customers. We went here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary surprise getaway. I had the creamy jazmin rice, asparagus, and the salmon. OMG! As soon as tasted my food it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I had never experienced this before. My husband had the NY strip which was done and cooked on point. Just as he had requested. It was juicy, not dry, and the flavor 😋. Everything that we tasted was delicious and delightful. Hats off 👏 to them for making our day special and they didn't know until after we had finish our food. Thank you for the dessert. The Coconut pie did not dissapoint.

The Watervue Grille was a disaster, Their service and quality were not a master. The menu was so poor, We had to venture out for more. Just a few feet away, The American Social, Bar and Kitchen was here to stay. For better quality and service, It was the only one worth our notice. So if you want to have a good meal, Choose the American Social. It's the real deal! The Watervue Grille will be a bad reference, But the American Social, Bar, and Kitchen will have you feeling immense!

This little hidden gem was absolutely amazing! Ordered the Mussels as an appetizer and they were so very good wish there was more of the sauce to dip the perfectly toasted bread in but I still enjoyed them. The Mahi Mahi was delicious also but the star of the evening was the pan fried Red Snapper. The green beans and potatoes were a great accompaniment topped with a beurre blanc sauce it all tasted so fresh. The house made sangria was refreshing as was the southern envy. Overall the entire meal left my tummy very happy and I can't wait to go back again.

New favorite Brunch spot!! View of the water right from your dining seat. Indoor and outdoor options are available with adequate shading for temperature control. American and seafood options to choose from. Environment was relaxed and clean. Wait staff was nice, quick, and knowledgeable of the menu and area! Parking is slim but if you go for just meal, the 2 hour spots are available close by. Want to stay in area longer? Check out the water taxi right out front!

Great spot right off the water. The staff was kind, facility is clean (outside as well), and the food was delicious. It’s nice that they have umbrellas for the outside dinning. Nice cover from the sun or rain.

Watervue hosted a recent private dinner for my company and we could not have been more thrilled with how the night went! The room set-up was perfect, staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the food was incredible. I heard so many good things from customers and colleagues alike. We were in town for a conference from out of state and it is always a little nerve wracking to plan dinners at a restaurant I've never been. Shout out to Cathy for many weeks of being so responsive, assuring, and patient with me as my team ironed out details for the night. Maeghan and her team were so hospitable and friendly the night of, too! If I'm ever back in Tampa, I will be sure to visit again!

Went there for a romantic dinner with my wife and enjoyed every bit of it. The food was good and the service was superb. The parking was a bit of an issue for but we found a spot in about 5 mins. We sat by the glass panels and the view there was quite nice.

I enjoyed the view by the marina. It is a nice spot. The mimosas were tasty. Matt provided pretty good service. The breakfast taco would have been better if they weren't room temperature. We actually waited a while for the tacos, so I definitely expected them to be hot. I would give them another shot.

My husband and I lucked out! Great breakfast, lovely service. If ever in the area, make a point to try it. When I asked to change the kaiser roll to rustic Italian toast, they gladly did so. 😃

Great location facing the river. Nice ambience inside. We went for brunch - food was so-so. Avo toast was lacking, shrimp tacos were good but missing a sauce or something. Drinks were fine.

I had a beautiful experience dinning here on a Saturday night. Arrived around 8pm for a party of two with open tables outside. The bar seating and outside seating are first come and the inside tables are reservations. The food was delicious, staff was friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic with parking garage across the street and view of the water. It was a perfect evening for the outside seating. After eating you can walk the water and rent some scooters. I recommend!

Great spot we got to visit on our honey moon! Solid waitstaff and a great area for tourists. Beautiful view to compliment the great food and intoxicating adult beverages. Love this place and would fly to Florida again just to eat!

Kudos to the chef on this one. Last night my husband and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and had hoped for a memorable meal.to celebrate. We were in for a treat! Not only did we experience the most amazing food ever, but everything from the gracious service to the cocktails was right on point. I had the scallops which many restaurants overcook. Tender, and sweet, they were seared to perfection and served with rice and smoky bits of pork belly. The sauce was amazing and lent just the right extra flavor notes. My husband had the swordfish and raved with every bite, Again, the fish was cooked perfectly and not overdone. I’m not a fan of swordfish, but the bite I tasted was delicious. We took our time and truly enjoyed this most delightful evening on all counts. Thank you for making our special evening even more memorable. Excellent job!

Excellent! Had a wonderful lunch at this great venue right off of the water. Excellent food (conch fritters, Bae Bae flat bread and crab cake sandwich) with friendly staff.

We came here for the 1st time on our vacation with our 9 year old son. For lunch and we were blown away with our waiter and was even able to make lemonade for my 9 year old even though it wasn't on the menu. Our food came out very fast and it was great! Even our son said this was the best place he has been for lunch! Great job guys and I hope you all get a raise for doing your job 100% the whole time we were here! We will be back!

This place has so much potential but fails to execute every single time. I recently dined here and was served a raw pork chop and had to send it back. Everything is mediocre at best when you compare with the prices they charge. I did however give them an extra star because the outside views of the water are great.

The ambiance and the location are fantastic! The food was really good but could have been better. The Salmon entree was delicious! The sauces with the charcuterie board were also unique and delightful. I recommend this over its closest competitor, Jackson’s any day! Happy hour drinks are a great price.
