I would like to start off by saying I felt a bad vibe when I first walked into this restaurant. We waited to be seated while the staff walked past us without being greeted, no pleasant smile, no just a second, we waited at the door while they took their time to properly greet us. #customerservice101 🚩🚩🚩 at that very moment my date suggested that we leave but I wanted to stay because it was raining and I did not want to jump from restaurant to restaurant. PROS- The restaurant location is nice (downtown Tampa), the restaurant decor is nice it gives you a cozy feeling. the soup was very tasty, the spring rolls were very tasty as well however, CONS- Entrées need very much a big improvement not only is the food very blend, the fried rice is NOT really fried rice, more like just stemmed rice, the WOK is for fried rice FYI also they’re over pricing you for such a small portion & when I say SMALL I mean small. One thing we all know Asian cuisines etc Thai always give plentiful dishes. This is certainly overrated. I will certainly not visit again. I very much felt like I was being taken advantage of as a customer. The photos look plentiful but trust me it’s not,the photos are close up. They forgot to add flavor to the food🥴🥴 REPLY TO OWNER.. 🚩🚩🚩 I have experienced plenty other Thai restaurants by far the food is not authentic as you claim, also my date & I experience that same cocky attitude that you’re displayed in your reply when we was present in your restaurant. Unfortunately you can’t clean up “My experience” no you can’t make everyone happy however, as a business owner myself YOUR REPLY SAYS IT ALL. Most unhappy customers won’t leave a bad review, they just don’t return, I’m not most . I’ll continue going to Jubao Noodle Bar where the food is more authentic . Thank you for the reply.

I took the "pad drunken noodle with tofu" and a large sake. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, in the heart of Tampa. The food was served quickly and delicious; very flavorful,. The portions were adequate; and perfectly balanced between spicy and tasty. We had an absolutely great time and good service there. Will definitely come back!

Love the atmosphere. Clean and a relaxing vibe. Service was excellent. Food fresh and flavorful. The soup had a terrific flavor profile and was well balanced. The rolls were stuffed nicely and made for a good appetizer. The Curry and Pad Thai also both came out fresh and flavorful. All the food exhibited the flavors and textures you expect from the selections. When in downtown Tampa desiring a taste of Asian food, this is a choice you can have on your short list.

Great experience! The food is so yummy. Pro tip! If there's a show at the Tampa Theater you're going to, call before and make a reservation. We breezed right past the 4 to 5 person deep line and that was very nice. It gets BUSY here on show nights if my experience is anything to go by. I had a curry, my partner had the drunken noodles. We were both very happy with the food and the prices! We will definitely be back soon!

Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in Tampa Bay. The place was packed when we arrived, but we didn't wait long to be seated and service, despite being very busy, was extremely efficient, fast. I had the sampler appetizer, Tom kha soup, Thai tea, Mango sake, and panang seafood. Everything was nothing short of excellent. Atmosphere is authentic and decor is on point. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back!

Cozy, opulent interior, excellent service and lots of tasty vegan options. There is a small outside seating area that appears to be dog-friendly. Highly recommended for upscale Thai food that is reasonably priced.

A dimly lit but beautiful place. Teamed within Asian/Thai influence. On site personnel are courteous and kind. Spring rolls could be a little bit less dry, But the soup was awesome. Both the main dishes were good in terms of portion size as well as taste. No parking on site but is available on the street. A beautiful atmosphere. Prices are well worth it. Highly recommended.

Came to Tampa a day early prior to our cruise. Was looking for a different place for dinner. Came upon Si-am a few blocks from hotel. Excellent service and even better food. The Tom Yum soup was fabulous as was to spicy duck dish.

Clean and busy for lunch on a Friday but seated immediately. Nice atmosphere. Crab Rangoon were cold inside but fried, made for an odd combination. Ordered the Garlic & Black Pepper beef. It was okay. Not really spicy and topped with A LOT of garlic which overwhelmed the dish. Rice tasted sticky and not really fresh but appreciated the presentation. Not the best. Not the worst. If you’re about the look and ambience great, if you seek flavor and heat seek elsewhere.

This is a must try!!!! We went as a party of six. All dishes were flavorful and delicious. One of our party said the Tom Ka soup was the best she has ever had. Not only was the flavors on point but cooked great as well. My shrimp could not have been cooked more perfectly! Staff was attentive but not hovering. Great experience!

Really cool atmosphere, great service, and amazing food. Could have been a little spicier but otherwise incredible. Vegan and gluten free menus available

I was here with a co-worker work no expectations but my overall experience is so-so. I had spring rolls, golden budha and Pineapple fried rice and Golden Budha is the only item that was a bit. Fried rice is bizarre. I ordered it spicy but it's blunt with no authentic Thai flavors. Service and the ambience are really good. I might not go back here again

First time at this restaurant as we were seeing a show at Straz and so looked for a restaurant close by. Amazing find! Good wine/cocktails choice and the food was delicious- perfect spice for me! The service was quick and polite and we didn't feel rushed. We would drive the 50 minutes back to Tampa just to eat here again!!

We met with friends and had a wonderful experience. Both the food and service were fantastic. The chicken pad thai medium spice will give you a bit of heat if you are so inclined. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well. The appetizer platter and soup was equally amazing. Definitely worth the drive.

My recent dining experience at Si-am Thaimerican Restaurant was a delightful fusion of Thai and American flavors. From the moment I stepped inside, the restaurant's charming decor and warm ambiance made me feel at home. The menu offered a unique blend of dishes, and I decided to try their signature "Thai Fried Chicken and Waffles." It was an absolute revelation – the crispy chicken paired with fluffy waffles and a sweet Thai chili syrup was an explosion of contrasting yet harmonious flavors. The attentive staff added to the overall enjoyment, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations. Si-am Thaimerican Restaurant is a hidden gem that brilliantly combines the best of both culinary worlds, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Wow! Just…wow! Honestly I should stop here with my review but I’ll keep going to do this place justice. Came here on a whim with friends on a Thursday night. First, let me be clear, while the drink menu is average, the food MORE than made up for it and was amazing! I’ve had a lot of mediocre Thai food in the US but this place is on a whole other level type of good! Extremely flavorful and fulfilling! Well prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. Our table had the following appetizers: Si-am Sampler, Tom Kha (DELICIOUS!! Coconut-lemon grass-veggies-mushrooms!), Tom Yum, Chicken Rice Soup. Then for entrees we had spicy green curry, pad see-ew, basil friend rice (refreshing!), shrimp & scallop basil, pad thai noodles, and lastly grilled red pork plate. The flavors danced on all of our tongues. You will enjoy it. You will be back. You heard what I said. Wow!

Visited this Thaimerican restaurant last weekend with some friends and really enjoyed the food and rice wine! The flavors were great and food was hot! Our server even offered to take a group pic of us all! My ONLY complaint was it was SUPER stuffy in the restaurant due to the air being out. Other than that, I would say I definitely recommend and will be back!

I just discovered a hidden gem right next to the historical Tampa Theater in downtown Tampa! Very cozy place where one can have dinner in zenful peace! Great food as well! This restaurant is topnotch!

The food was outstanding. The service was really good and the decor was standard. You’re looking at the fried duck with vegetables rolls, crab lagoon, and heart shaped rice. I have to go back next time I’m in Tampa 👍🏾

This is now my fav Thai restaurant. I had the duck and it was cooked to perfection. Everything was good.

I went there tonight for the first time, and had the best curry I've ever eaten. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, the waitstaff couldn't have been nicer, the decor was beautiful, and it's in a great location (right next to the historic Tampa Theatre). I'll definitely be back every time I'm in the area! [Pictured is the Panang Curry with tofu--delicious!]

I’ve eaten here enough times to give a proper review. I like the place, and it is very clean which I really like. However the portions are odd. When adding protein they are very skimpy with the meat and I mean skimpy. Less than a drumstick when adding chicken. How cheap is that. This is a bummer cause I thought I found my new Thai place. I guess not.

The wonton soup was wonderful. Very flavorful without being super salty. Combo appetizer platter was pretty good. Great fried rice. Scallop/shrimp sizzling platter was tasty. Friendly service.

I ordered the amazing with quarter duck as my protein and I was NOT disappointed. The duck was cooked to perfection, the sauce was filled with flavor and the service was impeccable. Needless to say this is my new go to spot for Thai food. The atmosphere is perfect, my 4 year old couldn’t stop saying how beautiful the restaurant was. If you haven’t tried this spot in downtown yet you’re missing out.

I really enjoyed this place. The main entre was really delicious and I really liked the ambiance. On of our appetizers was cold in the middle which made us think they were pre-made a d frozen. I'd still recommend going here.

Love this place! Second time around the center of Tampa where we decided to, again, go to Si-Am since we loved the food there the last time and the decor is absolutely captivating! We had two AMAZING soups and shared a very tasteful Pan Thai. Thank you for an amazing meal guys! Will be back soon....

the food was AMAZING! I went there with my new boss and the service was quick and easy and since I'm a vegetarian they substituted the meat with extra veggies. We got there before lunch was served so make sure you do so because the lunch crowd was out the door. If you like really spicy I suggest ordering the hot. I got the medium and I definitely could have gone for more fire!

I ordered takeout Crab Rangoon and a Beef fried rice for dinner. The service was fast and friendly from the phone call to pickup which only took about 10 minutes. The ambiance in the restaurant was very nice, it also appeared to be clean and well kept. Unfortunately the food could have been better. The Crab Rangoons were yellow inside almost like scrambled eggs; The flavor wasn’t bad but they were a bit odd and not traditional. The Beef fried rice I give a 2 out of 5 basically because the rice was gooey and not not fresh. The steak honestly tasted like the Wok may have been burned or scorched. I wouldn’t mind going back to give them a second try since this was only my first time.

Sizzling Duck Panang Curry Staff is extremely polite but the food even outweighs that! Very clean tasting, vegetables still crunchy and very fresh! Lunch is very busy so we came for an early dinner and it was worth it 100 times over!
