Byblos is in the South Tampa area. They have updated interior decoration, now more of chic sport bar type. I would say medium to loud noise level, so if you take your date diner forget to take the megaphone😁 There is indoor and out door seating. Some parking at the front and some at back and street parking. Fiber for four ended up 130$. Cruise is a mixed of Arabic, Turkish and American. Staple items like Tabouli.Lebna, Kofta, and also items like NY steak. I got lamb shank, that had good size of meat, long grain rice with more juice that I liked, and also shawarma that was i ok pen plate. They have belly dancing on Friday, we went Saturday night so obviously we missed it. There were some TVs also showing games. Overall I liked it 👍🏼

Incredible Lebanese restaurant on MacDill. The food is delicious. I love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine and they have the best Tabouleh I have ever tried. It's hard to believe something that healthy can taste so good. Nicely decorated. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice wine and cocktail list. An excellent dining experience.

Not bad at all. Decor is a bit dated but the food is pretty solid. Greek Mediterranean. Classics and fish, chops.

This is my favorite Mediterranean food hands down. That’s saying a lot, because Mediterranean is my favorite fare and I’ve eaten at every (I think) restaurant that serves it. My personal favorite is the chicken shawarma, which never disappoints. The spices they use are the perfect combo and their garlic paste is the best I’ve ever eaten. I don’t know if I prefer the chicken covered with garlic paste or garlic paste smothered in chicken shawarma. A party of 5 this time, we ordered a wide array of cuisine, all of which was fabulous. Dine in their beautifully appointed digs or order out. You haven’t eaten Mediterranean in the Tampa Bay Area until you’ve eaten here.

Very surprised by this place! Simple but nice restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing! It had that home cooked meal feel and flavor. We were delightfully surprised. Highly recommended

Let's just say, I'm impressed and so is my husband. Food was delicious and service was great. This hidden gem's menu comprises of mediterranean/Lebanese cuisine. I celebrated my husband's birthday and I was NOT disappointed. They have a great wine selection and their Branzino is to die for. I will be revisiting.

Food was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. The burrata was just right. The Beets paired perfectly. The beef kabob cooked to a medium temp, wasn't chewy, and was very flavorful, accompanied by delicious veggies. The Hummus(highlight) was the best I've had at a restaurant(smooth, creamy, flavorful). Chicken Kabob was good as well. Lunch portions were just enough. Have to try dinner here. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

If you're looking for an amazing Mediterranean dining experience in South Tampa, look no further than Byblos! I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I can't say enough good things about my experience. First and foremost, the food was exceptional. The flavors and spices in each dish were perfectly balanced, and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Lamb Chops, Shish Kabob and, Chicken Shawarma go with your Salad - they were both so delicious! Don't forget to try the mixed baklava....mmmmmmmyummm. But what really set this restaurant apart was the service. Our waitress, Abir, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. And the manager, Kiki, was also incredibly kind and accommodating. They both made us feel welcome and valued as customers (new friends). We spent well over 3 hours here enjoying ourselves, Talking with Kiki & Abir and never once felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone. The atmosphere was lovely as well - it was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and great music. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mediterranean meal and an exceptional dining experience. Thank you Byblos, Abir, and Kiki for a wonderful evening!

The food was good. We went on Friday to see the belly dancer, but she was 45 minutes late. The food came out really quick, which is usually a good thing, but we had to eat really slowly to see the dancer. I was very pleased with the food, but service was just ok.

I started with the Fig Martini. Great drink! I had scallops with peas, and side of mushrooms. It was lightly seasoned. Scallops were perfectly done. Beautiful restaurant with great server, Olivia. The deserts were decadent. Try the cream desert with Carmel topping. Served with cookies. They also had chocolate, but I've abstained. Great bellydancer! I ALMOST joined her, but didn't want co-workers taking pictures. I might run for President, and they ruin my chances.🤣 I heard parking was in the back, but I parked in the street.

Was in town visiting friends and decided to check out Byblos back at the end of January for dinner and drinks. The 3 of us sat at the bar and Keke took care of. Cocktail menu was nice and diverse and every drink we tried was super enjoyable. The food was excellent. Don't sleep on the ceviche either because they do a fantastic job with it. We decided to all split the Taste of Lebanon and there wasn't a single disappointing part of it. I personally really enjoyed the kebbeh, the kabobs, and the kafta. When I go back I don't think I'll be able to pick just one. We finished off with some Baklava which was hands down the best I've ever had. Super flakey and fresh and not overly sweet. The service from Keke was amazing. He treated us like family and I can't wait to go back and visit for dinner when I'm in town again. Highly recommend checking Byblos out if you haven't been.

Absolute fantastic evening here! We came to celebrate a close friends birthday, the entire restaurant was so accommodating for this evening. They even brought out the dessert we home made and helped us sing happy birthday. Jon, our waiter, was impeccable. The food was so amazing! And the entire place was so much fun to look around at while enjoying the music. Hands down amazing time. Great way to experience Lebanese food for the first time too!

My husband and I wanted to try something new and they did not disappoint! The atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness, the FOOD!!!! Seasoned, cooked and plated for perfection! Best chicken soup hands down! And to top it off we received a sample of one of their deserts; I don’t remember the name of it but it was just layers of goodness. We will be back!

8 of us , first time , hungry , tired and the Resturant is super busy but the manager efforts to seat us , the amazing service we got and the tasty food made us all fell great . We ordered the Lebanese appetizers for the table and the quantities were just right . Grilled octopus , ceviche , mixed grill , falafel and hummus . Even the deserts were delicious. Prices are reasonable , just make sure to make a reservation because the place is super busy .

The best Lebanese food in Tampa! Truly a great spot, great food and drinks, and such a pretty location. The food is very authentic, and they are one of the only places that serves authentic Kibbeh Nayeh in the area. I highly recommend it. Their Lebanese iced tea with pine nuts is my favorite. My server was Abir and she was such a joy as well as Olivia the bartender. They made the experience so nice.

Fantastic dishes for sharing. Got the roasted cauliflower, ceviche, and chicken/beef shawarma mix. Good cocktail menu. Belly dancer was there while we were there on a Friday night.

Have been to this place several times over the years. The food, service and ambience is great. Parking can be little challenging on busy nights. If you go on Friday evenings then you can even enjoy a nice bellydance show! Definitely worth trying. Good place to host a small party as well.

Pros: excellent service, outdoor seating We got the lamb burger (juicy seasoned and delicious) chicken kabobs (well cooked and spiced) and raw beef (forgot the name) which was very smooth and flavorful. The hummus and pita were also fantastic. Cons: lamb burger cooked well (not medium rare as asked) and chicken kabobs were slightly dry.

We have been eating at Byblos for more than a decade, and have watched this gem evolve from a hesitant, new eating spot to the sophisticated, elegant place it is today. The food however has always been delicious and probably the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine in Tampa Bay. The upgrades to the building several years ago only served to elevate the already fabulous food offerings. We ate at Byblos again last night and went for simple Fattouch salad and dolma, followed by a Beef Shawarma and chicken kebab dinners. As we have come to expect the food was superb, along with the great service. We can't wait till we return and once again partake from this wonderful place. It won't be long.

First time visiting Byblos and I'm certain I made the best on a whim choice for my Saturday. The place is beautiful and the service was very nice. The decor and music really added a nice touch to the whole experience. I went with cerviche and my group had steaks, salmon, soup. It all looked so good and the desserts looked delicious.

Amazing! Our first time! We went for lunch. Our server I believe Amber was her name was awesome! We got the Lebanese tea she suggested and then lunch shareable plate with some extras. Also we added the chicken scharma. Soooo good!!! Everything was great! We will for sure be back! The service was great!

We dined after work and even though it was rush hour we got on street parking right out front. Inside the atmosphere was calm and we didn’t hear traffic. We ordered “for the table” so we could try many different foods. The food was fantastic! Fresh, perfectly prepared and seasoned. The staff was professional, friendly and educated us about each dish. I can’t wait to go back.

Great brunch! Went here for Mother's Day with a group of 6. The food was on point, our server was very nice, very clean and modern atmosphere. Even though it was a busy holiday, we were out in an hour & a half. Definitely recommend 👌

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The normal and holiday decor were both very inviting. Once seated, our server, Peter, was amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had perfect timing, whether giving us time to look over they menu or checking on us to see if anything was needed. We started out with shareables, Tuna Tartare, Soujouk Shakshuka, and Byblos Ceviche. All three were amazing, and paired with the warm homemade pita bread was delightful. Our main entrees were very good as well. The Grilled Salmon, Prime NY Strip, and Chicken Kabob were all very flavorful and paired with amazing sides. We were already full, but this was a birthday celebration, so we splurged and ordered dessert. Baklava, Chocolate Cake and Budino, a butterscotch custard with Tahini cookies. All superb! We are looking forward to returning to try other items.

Stopped in without a reservation for a large party of 7. The waitress moved a few tables to accommodate. The menu was generous for lunch and have kid friendly options. We had a berry and cherries drink and it was delicious. Could not have been more pleased with the cleanliness, friendly staff and delicious food.

Stopped here with my family and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is much larger than you would assume looking at it from the outside, and if parking is a problem, check the back they have free spots available (no streets parking is a plus!) Our waitress was very accommodating and informative with menu items we weren't aware of. The food came quickly and everything was delicious. The soups were quite bland, we ordered the lentil soup and the chicken soup and neither had great flavor as they both very watery. Great falafel, and the seasoning on the meats was great. The hummus was also very bland but we added the garlic paste they provide, some salt and olive oil and it was good then. Though the prices are outrageously steep for some items, we were all generally satisfied with our actual meals (minus the soups, which were a disappointment). Also, it'd be good if you had a choice for the sides that come with your meal because all entrees only come with sautéed vegetables. If you want to add sides everything is like $8+ dollars which is simply too much when you add that on to an entree that is already $25+. For 4 entrees and an appetizer, it was $150 which is borderline ridiculous for what we had ordered. Besides the price tag, overall? The food was good.

My 1st time here the ambiance of the restaurant is Amazing and Relaxed. Bobby is an excellent server he stayed on top of everything that we could need or want. Our food was very bland. We got here pretty late so that maybe the reason our food wasn't as great. However I would try Byblos again maybe for lunch or and early dinner.

For Friday night dinner we went to Byblos. We had made a reservation before so we got seated quickly. We were greeted by our server. For our order we started with Baba Ganuj with Pitas, Grilled Salmon and Chicken Kabob. The atmosphere was serene and we loved the restaurant. Since it was Friday evening there were songs and dance being played. We loved the atmosphere. First we got pitas and baba ganuj. Then we got our rest of the order. The food was delicious and tasty plus it was amazing. The service was also quick and we didn't had to wait much. Loved our time at Byblos.

Hadnt been here in a while, hidden gem. The have changed some things for the better. Spacious, clean, airy feel. The day I went they were short staffed and still recieved excellent service. Food was good, well seasoned, authentic. Friendly for those that have pets out on the patio. Will return.
