Unsure if I come here for Jessica and her magnetic personality and kindness or for the delicious food she cooks for this 1 of a kind coffee bar. The venue is quietly tucked away in a south Tampa neighborhood. Over the years, she’s delivered consistently delicious foods and coffee. Must try if in Tampa!

Overall great. Stopped in based on a Reel we saw. Honestly, probably some of the best coffee in Tampa. Small ship, tons of outdoor seating. Employees were super friendly. Will definitely be back. Plenty of street parking. It is tucked away pretty good, so keep your eyes peeled while driving.

This is a literal true hidden gem in all ways. It’s allocated in a house in Hyde Park, so you can easily walk by it and not even notice it’s a coffee shop. But if you do see the sign and decide to enter, then you will be treated with some great coffee drinks and food. Inside is small, but they have arranged tables and chairs on the porch and front yard so it feels like you’re having coffee at a friends house… and if you get talking to the super friendly and talkative owner, then you really will be having coffee at a friends house! all the normal coffee drinks plus some specialty ones like a mint mocha, Milky Way latte, and others. The food is cooked to order and is excellent as well. My girlfriend swears by the avocado toast!

My husband and I were staying at a rental property in Hyde Park and looking for a place to takeout breakfast. We ordered The Matt with the fresh tomatoes and garlic aioli and the Avocado Toast with fresh mozzarella. EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!! My husband was hesitant because he's in to the traditional (maybe not so healthy breakfasts) BUT, he LOVED it. The food was hot and everything was fresh. He said there was GREAT music playing while he waiting for the breakfast to be prepared and the vibe was SUPER!! Thank you Jet City Espresso for setting the tone for a WONDERFUL day!!! :-)

My absolute favorite coffee house. Jet City is a sweet little hidden gem in the Hyde Park area and a perfect place to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. Jessica, the owner, is such a beautiful person and truly makes every item you order with a touch of love❣️Everything I’ve ever tried at Jet City has been so fresh and delicious but my personal favorites are their signature Cafe Borgia Latte (I love it iced) the Avocado Toast, and her array of signature handmade scones..each to die for! I highly recommend anyone looking for fresh delicious coffee, baked goods and breakfast/lunch to give Jet City a try. I promise it will be your new favorite spot! ✨✨✨

I had this place saved in my Yelp collections based on other reviews. I finally got to try it and WHOA! Before I even dive into the coffee and the food, let me just say that Jessica (the owner) is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell that she truly enjoys running this place and takes so much pride in it (as she should!). Okay, drink time. I ordered the signature Cafe Borgia. YUM! It is a latte with sweet and smooth hints of honey, orange blossom, and nutmeg. Everyone needs to try this at least once. There are plenty of milk options too. From what I recall, she had organic milk, oat milk, soy milk, and almond milk. My boyfriend and I were in the mood to split some food so we chose "The Coach" sandwich. The first words out of his mouth were "ohhhhh this is life changing" with his eyes closed. The first words out of my mouth were "what kind of delicious sorcery is this?" Y'all.. these flavors and textures are INCREDIBLE! The turkey is so thin and melts with the gouda into a deliciously smoky combo. The garlic aioli (yep, GARLIC AIOLI!) on the toasted ciabatta.. *chef's kiss*! I love that it was served with a side of fresh fruit and a little spinach, tomato, onion salad (that you could easily put on top of the sammy for some extra nutrients) with a cup of potato salad. There is plenty of street parking. The shop itself is in a house. Walk up the steps and use the door on the left. There is some inside seating but the porch and outdoor seating provides such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. I can't wait for the weather to cool off a little bit so I can grab a coffee, another one of those sandwiches(!) and relax with a good book.

Great find off the beaten path! I rode a hotel bike here from the convention center area. Looking for a great breakfast/coffee option and found it. Avocado toast was fresh and delicious. Try the Cafe Borgia....delicious and unique. Sadly, I won't be in town for the live music this weekend. Great spot!

This is the little coffee shop you’ve been looking for. I think it’s accurate to call this little coffee shop a pillar of the community. Rated best of the best 5 years in a row now, and it’s all from the magic Jessica brings. You come here and you truly feel like you’re part of the community. And the coffee and food are out of this word, too. Cappuccino and a blueberry-white chocolate scone, and your morning will be made!

My first time and definitely not my last time! This will be my end of week treat from now on! The coffee was fantastic not too sweet and actually can taste coffee. The chocolate covered espresso beans are my all time favorite now! Best I have had! What a gem of a find!

Every Sunday my bf and I visit a new coffee shop to try. Not sure how it took us this long to find this gem but we are so happy we did! For starters, the owner is so sweet and engaging and it seems like she loves to get to know the people who walk through her door. Being a Folk/Bluegrass fan, she even gave me a suggestion on a band to listen to, The Infamous Stringdusters, who we ended up listening to for the rest of the day (Thank you so much btw we LOVED them!). I got a Milky Way and my bf got a Cafe Borgia, both AMAZING and so different than your typical specialty drinks. We also shared a Sconewich, which was delish. Besides the yummy menu, this is the kind of place we love to go. It’s chill, the vibes are good and the best is it’s local owned. This place will be a frequent stop for our Sunday coffee excursions!

Came across this place because of the reviews and I recently moved from Miami. This place is great for so many reasons. The coffee amazing and good ingredients, the owner’s energy and customer service was amazing and the vibe, we sat here like it was our home it’s that comfortable and welcoming. Definitely a gem I will be returning too!

Great hidden gem of Hyde Park. Stopped here on a bike ride. Jessica, the owner is originally from Seattle and makes an awesome flavorful americano! She came out to meet us and give us tips on cycling clubs and what to do in Tampa.. Peaceful setting to sip. Look forward to coming back for a breakfast.

This is a 5 star experience from the perspective of feeling welcome and engaged by the delightful owner. I could have talked with her all day. The location is unique being in a Hyde Park home with a garden area and nice porch for seating areas outside. There is, as I recall, one maybe two small tables inside, but it is set up that you order and then move outside. I loved the offerings of food from hot food options to baked goods, including gf options. We had coffee, a slice of quiche and a scone. They were all good, but the quiche crust was soft rather than the flaky crisp crust expected. Perhaps that is the way it is heated? The scone I had, while tasty, was supposed to have chocolate in it. I had one piece of chocolate in the entire thing. The coffees were good, but not as enjoyable in a paper cup. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't our favorite coffee shop in Tampa. I'd still recommend it because the location and experience are so nice, as is the owner.

Stumbled upon this homey hidden gem and the owner Jessica is the sweetest person. My caramello coffee and sconewich was amazing!!! Will definitely come back soon! Outside seating was a great plus

My favorite coffee shop in Tampa. A kind and charismatic mother-son duo run the place and they are a gem for our community. I love bringing my dog and enjoying their outdoor seating on cooler days. I always get the Cafe Borgia, it’s unique and absolutely delicious. I also love that I can ask for my coffee in a ceramic mug instead of the to-go cups

The best espresso and homemade pastries and sandwiches. I drive 35 min just for the coffee. The outside sitting area is just adorable!

AMAZING. Jessica (the founder/owner) is a beautiful soul and an artist in every way - with her coffees, delightful foods (vegan/GF friendly!) and vibe-curation. Immaculate, everything! All organic ingredients, i saw organic whole milk was used in my DELICIOUS borgia coffee and i was so pleasantly surprised:) come here, you will LOVE it!

No better genuine coffee shop experience. Jess, the owner, is a great person who happens to be a great barista. Try their signature drinks and breakfasts. In the heart of Hyde park, this place shines! Coffee, breakfast, atmosphere…what more could you ask for. Not too pricey and never too long of a wait!

Delicious smoothies, amazing coffee, fantastic breakfast sandwiches! The owner is super sweet and we had the best conversation. Plus everyone who came in seemed so friendly and chill. Def will come back, and will most likely end up staying at the attached airbnb.

Great service. The lady that took our order was very friendly and she made everything fresh, it looks she bakes everything, I really like that. Good latte and the chai is delicious. Food is good. They have outside sitting. This place looks eco friendly.

What a cute find tucked into a residential street in old Tampa. Owner was super friendly and the food/coffee was excellent. Their signature coffee drink, the Cafe Borgia was one of the best flavored coffee drinks we've ever had. We will return any time we're in the Tampa area.

Today was my first time getting coffee at Jets City Espresso shop, what an amazing experience, truly blown away by the little details and what a world class service. Light years and beyond anything that a starbucks could ever offer. After arriving I decided to also try a breakfast sandwich, I was so impressed while I was awaiting my food and drinking my coffee noticing the attentiveness and the amount of detail to recall orders she remembers while holding meaningful conversations with regulars who came into the shop, one literally after the next, all while proficiently pressing the beans and brewing the love. Genuine and authentic care and consideration goes a long way over what seems like an ordinary day ordering a coffee. Not only the experience was 5 star but the food and coffee was delicious and phenomenal too. This gal knows how to run a business and how to create a world class service. With gratitude, Raving fan, will be back when on this side of town again, have an amazing day!

Beautiful little spot, lovely atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. I personally didn’t get any coffee myself, but my boyfriend loved it, and couldn’t get over how good the whip cream tasted. I myself am vegan and they were willing to make up a sandwich for me, with veggies and vegan sausage, it was soooo delicious, and they have vegan baked goods as well. Lovely little place with lovely people 🖤

this was my partner and i's first time here and we loved it! i ordered their signature cafe borgia which was amazing and she ordered the white chocolate mocha which was equally as amazing! definitely want to try the milkway or almond joy next time. everyone should try this place. the owner, Jessica, was so sweet and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers! 10/10

This is the truly hidden gem that is not praised enough. It is a tiny little shop located in the heart of Hyde Park with just a couple tables inside to sit but what it lacks in size, the owner’s big heart and personality make up for it. Jessica makes all the baked goods herself (they’re delicious and offer gluten free and vegan options). Don’t know what you want? She will help you decide and educate you on all she knows about coffee. Jessica is half the reason I go there, it’s just so nice to visit a real neighborhood coffee shop where they know your name and treat you like family. Try the Cafe Borgia, it’s her specialty and is amazing!
