👍 First time here, it’s clean and new inside. We got cafe con leche, it was a little pricey ($6) for a medium size. The guava and cheese pastry was exceptional. I would probably come back here if I want to splurge People often mention sandwich, Cuban, delicious, coffee, Tampa, cheese, pastry, good, Great, time,

First visit today for breakfast and we ordered bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, a cheese and guava pastry and a couple of empanadas. We also ordered one hot and one cold cafe con leche. The sandwiches were really big and we both only ate half and saved the other half for later. Everything is really good and fresh. This is a grab and go bakery as there is not even room for any seating. The staff is really nice and friendly and service is pretty quick even though the line was all the way to the door. I’m looking forward to returning to try a lunch sandwich and some of the other pastries.

We were visiting friends and stop in to have coffee and a sandwich. The gentleman making the coffee David was very polite and very helpful. He did and outstanding job. The cashier Angie was just as pleasant and very sweet. I will definitely be returning there every time we visit. It’s nice to see places hire young people that are hard working. Kudos

This is a place I definitely recommend you go to get a coffee and Cuban food. While we did not eat here, we had a coffee and looked at what people were eating and chatted with a few people who have been there before and said their food was spectacular. The staff was great and the coffee was excellent. We will definitely be back. Great job everybody who works there

Being from Tampa, born in Ybor City, I’ve been eating Cuban sandwiches for almost 60 years. I would have to say the one from La Segunda, for the money, is just OK. $12 Cuban sandwiches and $6 dollar Cuban coffee is a little exorbitant; Do yourself a favor and go to either West Tampa Sandwich Shop, La Teresita, Arco Iris, or Pipo’s. You’ll save half the money and be able to order some black beans and rice with your sandwich too.

People come back for good food. But NO ONE !!! Comes back when you get awful service! The cashier was beyond disrespectful and should be trained to be pleasant and courteous to customers. I do not recommend this establishment solely on its terrible service.

Very good food. I was in town for vacation and came to this location for Cuban sandwich and coffee. Very delicious food with reasonable prices. It was so good I went back again for another sandwich.

Believe the hype - home of the original Cuban sandwich, this was my first stop from the airport where I ordered one of those, a guava pastry and large cafe con leche. The servers were friendly, food was out fast and it was every bit as good as I’d dreamed. The salami on the Cuban is a nod to the early Italian population of Tampa and makes it better than its Miami counterpart in my opinion. The roast pork was flavorful, the bread fresh and perfectly pressed. The pastry was flaky and jammed full of guava and the coffee was delicious - can’t wait to come back to Tampa if for no other reason than to visit La Segunda!

One of the best restaurants in Tampa. So glad I found la Segunda. While visiting we stopped here twice for lunch and both experiences were quality and fast. Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich! Portions are large. Can't wait to return atmosphere is very comfortable.

This place is an Absolute treasure, the employees are friendly and very helpful and the food is awesome, the bacon egg and cheese Cuban reminds me of my childhood, and the regular Cuban is to die for , if you have not been here I highly highly recommend going !!

This place is legit! Ordered a Cuban and Cannoli...and wow! I was so full but wasn't going to walk away from something that delicious. We will be going back to get a loaf of Cuban bread before heading out of town.

Two visits during a week in Tampa is notable. The first was to grab a breakfast pastry and coffee. The case was filled with many delectable options. I chose a guava flip and cheese quesito and they were both delicious. The fillings were fresh and the doughs were light and crispy. The caramel latte was smooth without bitterness. The inside is spacious and clean. The outdoor patio is shaded so you can enjoy your food in the coolness. The staff is very friendly and professional. My second visit was for the empanadas which were warm and nicely flavored. Both the beef and chicken were perfectly seasoned in flaky pastry.

Good place with delicious food and with the opportunity to upgrade a sandwich, but the service was not so great. I ordered online and they forgot to put to my order one of the drinks, also one of the baking was out of stock. I had to come back for a drink, and the money for pastries was returned. Maybe it's happened due to the high occupancy of the restaurant at that moment, but I guess they can improve the pickup system.

We only got 3 desserts to go but wow they were delicious! Can’t wait to return to the area again for more! The prices can’t be beat anywhere!

Ordered an avocado sandwich for pick-up, literally no avocado. Just paid for tomato paste and egg, this is not the first time where they’ve left out avocado for pick-up orders. So disappointed.

Great breakfast spot, the Cuban bread was very good. I had egg sandwich with avocado. Also had a cold brew. My only knock is they forgot the cheese on my sandwich. Otherwise great experience.

Went to this place for the first time today around 1pm it was busy, the guy who took our order was super friendly and very helpful, I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese and a Quesito pastry both were quite delicious. The only downside was they had no Diet Coke which was what I wanted other than that I would rate this place higher if I could. I Highly recommend this place for a Great sandwich and pastry

The place got so many good reviews, I thought I will wait in line, but to my surprise, not that many people. Was worry that this place is overrated. The breakfast sandwich cost more than other places, but it is a full Cuban bread with lots of bacons. The coffee is also right and actually made from a different stations across the counter. Other items are also very nice.

I ordered an avocado breakfast sandwich and a cafe con leche— both were still hot and fresh despite me being nearly 15 minutes late to pick it up. The bread was perfect, the coffee was great, and the proportions for the price were very fair! Cherry on top: the service members were quick and friendly. I’m glad I stopped in— I’ll most certainly be a repeat customer!

This is my first time visiting this location and can I just say it’s not my last. The service offered was superior and the staff made sure that I was comfortable. I would like to thank Shanesa, the Store Manager, for assisting me in making a food selection. She was extremely detailed in her descriptions and very patient with me. I can’t wait to come back !

A true landmark! The best Cubans! Desserts and baked goods are unbelievable! I wish I would have tried the Tampa Steak sandwich years ago, it's my new favorite.

The cuban sandwich is delicious. I stop by every month while in Tampa for Work and grab one. If I could get them delivered to California I would.

Excellent sandwiches, definitely ask for the special sauce! Also the cold brew was the perfect pick me up I needed to nail our client meeting that day! I was excited to see they have multiple locations, another is located just up the street from our apartment in downtown St. Pete, we'll definitely be back.

Ohhh Baby!!! ❤️❤️ First time visiting in Tampa and all I wanted was a Cuban. And La Segunda gave me the best one I EVER had!! If you are ever in Tampa, FL stop by this wonderful place! The other items on the menu were delicious as well.

Was not expecting such an outstanding experience. It was super crowded when we arrived but the line moved quickly and the food arrived pretty fast also. The breakfast sandwiches were big enough to share and so delicious. We also ordered a few pastries - guava and cheese turnovers and quesitos. Both were fantastic. I’d love to come back for lunch!

Great atmosphere and food was even better. I had the avacado and egg sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious! And my friend demanded I get one of the quesitos; it was perfect!

Great food. Great staff. Great experience. Nothing more I can say, except get yourself over to La Segundo as quickly as possible. Muffuletta, and Cuban are maybe the best I've ever had, and I am a connoisseur of both. Very friendly atmosphere. And really good coffee. Highly recommended!

The Cuban bread and cafe con leche were on point! My son loved the steak and cheese sandwich. I’m from Miami and this totally competes with the Latin bakeries/cafes back home!

This bakery is amazing! I definitely recommend trying out the Cuban if you haven't before. And pastry-wise I really enjoy the guava cream cheese pastry. Really you can't go wrong getting anything here. Really nice atmosphere and customer service is great.

Blake is an outstanding Manager. He stated it wasn't up to their traditional standards either, based on my original order. Blake was very accomodating and went above & beyond our expectations. Food was delicious, my family raved about the quality, presentation and everything was hot & tasty. Definitely ordering again during Holidays! Thank you Blake, your Awesome!

One of the young ladies was making some type of pastries when a tall fellas with a curly Afro style hair threw a fake spider at her back when the spider hit the floor she bends down and picks it up and gives it back at him. Then he proceeds to package pastries and never changed gloves, then he puts the spider on another young lady in the back, one the flip side the food was great for my 1st time
