YUM! Cuban sandwiches are very good. Longtime customer due to the good food. As a Cuban sandwich connoisseur I can’t get enough of these sandwiches. I’d rate their sandwich very high. They offer it with the traditional toppings or with lettuce, tomato, etc. There other offerings are great as well. Prices are not too bad for the area. It’s great they offer different sandwich options for which is great if your price conscience. I do wish they had large drink options (only offer one size). Additional parking in back which is where I always park. Easily take the back door inside. Give it a try and leave a rating to help others.

Great little sandwich shop tucked away on a small and unassuming strip mall. Known for one of the best Cubans in town and I agree. The sandwiches are offered as 7” ($6.49) or 10” ($8.99) so you can grab a light lunch plus a cafe con leche for under $10. I feel like every time I stopped I saw a table of people on their lunch break as it’s the kind of local place you can get a great quick and inexpensive lunch. It’s still got the feel of an unknown neighborhood spot. I need to come here more and try everything else on the menu too.

I lived in Tampa most of my life and moved in 2017. There is no Cuban food where I live now, so I always have to visit here when in town. The floridian was my favorite then and still is. I'm gonna say it is WAYYY better than brocatos Cuban sandwich. All the way and press is the best. 😏

I have been wanting to go to the Floridian Sandwich shop for quite a while. Today was the opportunity, the angry Cuban Sandwich has been on my list. I will say it was good, really good, as a fan of cuban sandwiches and Matouks Calypso sauce, I felt this was an awesome fusion. No disappointment! The "angry" sauce added a profile like no other cuban sandwich. I would, if in the area probably do it again. Edit...4 to 5 stars for prompt owner reply

This place lives up to their tagline the home of the "Finest Cuban sandwiches on the planet" Thoroughly enjoyed the Cuban Ham, mojo spiced pork, Genoa salami, Swiss cheese, dill pickles with mustard/mayo mix on Cuban bread. Got a great recommendation from one of the great employees to try the Deviled Crab. Outstanding!

Visited the Tampa/Clearwater area with my family this past weekend and I wanted to try the best Cuban sandwich I could find. Some of the reviews here made me nervous but I still went. Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile and our order was taken by a new girl that was training. She was VERY helpful and gave us good suggestions. My daughter is SUPER picky with food and she ate ALL of her turkey sandwich. My first Cuban sandwich was AMAZING!!! The bread, meat, everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. I had the yellow rice and black beans and they were even better!! Everyone was so super stoked with the food they got, I cannot recommend a better Cuban sandwich!!

I like stopping here for sandwiches on my way to catch a sunset at the beach. Great value. Not so friendly service but it's good enough. I like being able to order ahead and run in for pickup. If you like a little spice go for the angry bird. 😋 Good fries also.

I had the famous Cuban, I thought it was really good. Deli mustard or spicy brown mustard would have been really good on there too. The mustard was a little too watery for my preference. But I did enjoy the sandwich, the 7 inch was plenty enough

GOTTA TRY - FINEST CUBAN SANDWICH ON THE PLANET. This place is great. The Cubans - what they are known for - are sooo good. Great fresh bread, crispy pickles, great ham - all of it goes together so well. The homemade fries and dip/gravy were great accompaniments. Great staff. If you are in the area, hit up the Floridian - you won’t be disappointed!

The food here was amazing :) the service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Sandwich was really good, and had a nice flavour. I will say the cleanliness of the place should be looked at as every table had crumbs on them - nothing major but should be looked at. Aside from that, food was great and definitely will come back again when in the Tampa area

This is one of my husband's favorite places to get a Cuban. I decided to purchase a turkey sandwich. I didn't realize the turkey sandwich would not come with lettuce and tomato. Other than that, it was quite enjoyable.

Great food, all made to order. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious, they have 3 different sizes to chose from, it will satisfy any appetite!

I been there more than a Hundred times. When Katrina used to work there the sandwiches were always excellent and on time. She left and with the new staff the sandwiches are always too slow. Yesterday the sandwiches were horrible! They were 30 minutes late ( I ordered in advance) and still I have to wait. And the bread was NOT TOASTED AT ALL. the bread was soggy. I couldn’t believe it ! Everything must comply with the standards of the company. I’m extremely disappointed. The owner should be there more often. Not just counting the money. What a shame !

Found this place on Google as I was looking for lunch while on break at work was only 2 minutes away. Wasn’t expecting it to be so good for the price. The Cuban was absolutely delicious probably the best one I’ve ever had. I ordered the famous Cuban meal which came with a side (I chose fries) which was absolutely delicious surprisingly!!! And also a drink all for $12 is a absolute steal to me. I highly recommend stopping here.

I am very sad to have to leave this review on this establishment. I placed an online order, which I later found out when I picked up it came across as a door dash order. I specifically asked for my order to be ready ay 1245pm; however, 8 minutes after I placed my order I was texted that is was ready; an hour and a half early. That was the 1st part. Then I go to pickup my order, it was ready (no further comment), I assumed it was made as requested. I arrived back to my home and unpack my $50 order to find all of my sandwiches were made incorrectly, even though the online order system is pretty detailed with each sandwich request. I reached out through their internal link to express my concerns and request for some type of refund. To be responded to that they understand my frustration but are currently unable to provide a refund. OK, understood. Thank you, no problem.

The Cuban wasn't like it ones was. We had the deviled crab and looked like it was sitting in a hot box for a long time. Priced high for a diminished product. Sorry.

Placed an online order a almost $100 worth of food and drinks. When I Got to the place, which was completely empty, the lady still preparing the sandwiches and what not, which was fine with me, told me with a attitude (seemly frustrated at having to prepare “such a big order”) “you’ll have to wait, it’s a big order” I asked are you mad at getting a “big order”? Not sure what she mumbled. I was gonna cancel the order right then and there but remembered I had guests waiting for this food, so I just let it go. I got back home and had the wrong sandwiches made and was missing an orange juice. Sandwiches were good but next time my money is going somewhere else.

The Cuban Sandwich was extremely disappointing. Very little meat and it tasted…old and stale. The fries were crinkle cut frozen not fresh cut. Lots of better Cubans nearby. Skip this one.

Ordered thru uber. Very disappointed in my first order here. 1/2 my sandwich had very little meat. Took almost 1 hr & we are 1.4 miles away. Only got 1 au just for 2 french dips & no spicy dipping sauce.

Not the cleanest place to visit. The sandwich was good, still, not the best. The lady was attentive and nice. The place looks tired, it needs updates to todays restaurants standards.

Definitely the best dang Cuban sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Been going here forever. Get the large combo deal — large Cuban with ham, pork, salami, pickle, special mustard-mayo mix hard pressed. Get the twice-fried hand-cut French fries and a fountain drink. My wife Karen and I went there Saturday October 12 and server Kay made us the absolute best Cuban combos we have ever had. She deserves a raise for her dedication and hard work. Don’t want a Cuban? They have perhaps another dozen sandwich options. Owner Harold Seltzer also offers great salads, soups, yellow rice and much more. He’s on the premises every week and responds quickly to any concerns. The Floridian also offers a free combo deal. You get a punch card and one punch each time you buy a combo. You get a free combo after you fill the card. It’s definitely my favorite sandwich shop.

This is one of many of my Fav Cuban sandwich spots. Haven't been to Tampa in a few years and I'm happy to say it was a good day the day I came because Kay was on shift. She made me one of the best pressed Cuban Sandwiches I have ever tasted.Thank you Kay...you are truly awesome...I'll be back soon...(hopefully you are there)
