Super fresh! Had a family dinner delivered to our hotel for three of us. The price was reasonable and the amount of food was just about perfect. Easily feeds 3 pretty hungry people or 4 moderately hungry people. Includes a great mix of food, we got the steamed chicken dumplings, vegetable lo mein, chicken and broccoli, Thai curry coconut chicken (spicy!) and the most amazing Thai donuts! Good flavor and perfectly cooked veggies. We couldn’t have been happier!

All around great experience at this location. The food a feast for the eyes and the taste buds expertly prepared by the girls at the woks. Al was a great cashier and server. He really made us feel at home and at ease. Thank you to the staff at the Westshore location this evening for making our families dinner a pleasure!

I ordered takeout from Uber and was waiting for my food for nearly an hour and finally when I called the store they told me no one has arrived to get my food. When I look on the Uber app it says Pei Wei was supposed to deliver so this makes no sense. Uber and Pei Wei don't communicate so don't order from here because you'll never receive your food.

I will not revisit Pei Wei because this visit was not a good one. I ordered the beef and broccoli with fried rice and veggie spring rolls. The beef is chewy and has a fishy taste to it. The rice is completely overcooked and almost mushy, you can tell it was prepared and left out for hours. The spring rolls didn't taste fully cooked on the inside, but the broccoli was perfect. For $19 I expected the food to taste better. The man at the register was doing his best to keep up with the line and to deliver the food in the window. Just not a good experience.

Competent staff, super clean restaurant and floors with staff actively cleaning all surfaces. Great food and if you like pineapple, I would recommend the house special. Also, kid menu doesn't caution you they are talking about giant kid portions. Easily one of my favorite places when I pass through Tampa.

Girl behind the register was rude. Got my food and I asked her was this fried rice or white rice and she said it’s friend rice, “we don’t fry the rice” quoting with her fingers. Like duh are you for real. Food wasn’t good and will never come here again. Trust me take your business else where.

The GM is phenomenal. He will ensure that you receive the best service, good portions, and a friendly atmosphere. He is always behind the register and he remembers us when we come in. In comparison to the Sarasota location, this is the only Pei Wei my family and I will dine at in the Tampa Bay Area.

After a long day training dogs. No time to cook. You want to eat late, healthy, delicious and experience a manger like Mel who has a smile on her face even the day is ending? That’s the best place to go. Clean kitchen. You can see how they prepare food and the entire restaurant is clean and give you a comfortable ambience. Keep up. Thanx

I love Pei Wei and I decided to try this location through a delivery service since I was having a strong craving for some Dan Dan noodles, which are my fav! However, when the food was delivered the sauce looked lighter and barely had flavor. Also the cucumbers were not julienned, it seemed like it was cut with a mandolin and I got mostly cucumber skins haha. I didn’t expect it to be super fresh as it was delivered but dang I really was looking forward to the taste I know and love.

The service was fine. The atmosphere was good, however, that’s about all the good things I can say. The most important thing, the food, was just terrible, I ordered my staple, which is the General Tso’s Chicken. That’s pretty much all I get when I order Chinese. That being said, this was probably the worst I have ever tasted. First, the picture on the menu showed scallions and a white strip that I thought was onions, but I was told it was bean sprouts. I asked to hold the bean sprouts. So the meal should have only contained scallions. I get home and it is LOADED with scallions, carrots and tiny diced red peppers that you can’t remove because they are so tiny. So I figured, what the heck, I’ll try it. Big mistake. I took 2 bites, it was terrible, so I threw it away and went to get a pizza. If it was closer, I may have taken it back, but it wasn’t worth it. It may be some folks cup of tea, but definitely not mine’.

I ordered the Pad Thai as takeout, and while the service was fast, the dish itself was not the best, lacking in salt. The hot and sour soup was also disappointing. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciate the prompt service and am willing to give the restaurant another chance, intending to explore different dishes on my next visit.

Nice looking place and they had our food ready to go all bagged up with napkins silverware and all.. but not only did I not get what I ordered, but what I got was disgusting. I didn’t take it back because I just wanted to eat and go to bed. I saved it trying to force myself to eat it the next night, but it was even more disgusting. The next night the rice was hard and dry, pretty old if you ask me, the lo mein is not really lo mein and it doesn’t have a lot of flavor. The chicken in the lo mein is big chunks and it doesn’t have any flavor. Definitely not what you expect with Chinese takeout. 🤮🤮

We ordered take out of Mongolian beef and kids Lomein when we got home the Mongolian beef had a very strong AMONIA smell to it. That’s not normal ! I’ve had Mongolian beef plenty of times else where and it’s nNEVER smelled like amonia. I called the restaurant and let them Know and the guy said “what do you want me to do”? Like really ?! No apologies ? I asked for a refund and he told me to call back I. The morning and talk to someone else . Awesome customer service!!

I was on vacation and instead of doing Olive Garden or Longhorn Steakhouse, we decided to do something we couldn’t get at home. We settled on Pei Wei after working up an appetite walking around the mall. At check out, they upcharged for fried rice instead of brown or white. I ordered a side of wontons that were only luke warm. I also ordered a side fire cracker nachos that came out “slightly warm and the gal at the register charged me full price even though there’s a sign that says “$5.00 if added to a meal”. Our entrees came out after what seemed like an unnecessarily long wait (20 ish minutes) and we were greeted with “just okay” food. Overall, I can’t say it was a good value and it certainly wasn’t a great experience. $41.16 for what I’d call a 30ish dollar meal. I would choose somewhere else next time I visit.

The food is always delicious and service is always fast here. Staff is super friendly, especially the general manager. We come here at least once a month and are never disappointed. Westshore Pei Wei is my best go-to!

We ate a quick dinner here while visiting before embarking on a cruise. The person who took our order, looked like the manager, was super friendly. We ordered several dishes and each was really good for Asian fast food. We love PF Changs and know that this is their fast food version.

The Manager, Al, is amazing! We come to this location every week or so, and yet with all of the customers he interfaces with, he remembers our names, that we like our food with extra spice, and always gives us insights and food recommendations. We have been to several Pei Wei locations, and this is the most welcoming. One additional comment; join their rewards program … it is VERY “rewarding” with a free entree earned after just a few visits regularly.

Mongolian beef so salty. Haven't eaten at pei wei in years chose because I know it's fast and slightly healthy. This is too salty. And I love salt. :(

We love this location. We stop here on our way home from Orlando each trip. The gentleman who works up front taking orders is always so friendly and makes sure our meals are done to our liking each time. We have tried other Pei Wei locations but this one just has better food and better service.

I had a great experience with Jonathan. I usually get the chicken lettuce wraps. But he made some great suggestions with the chili green beans and the egg drop soup. He also suggested the pineapple coconut ice cream which was amazing. He was very friendly and attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. I also watched him interact with other customers and he established a great rapport with each of them. I would definitely eat at this location again and would love to be seated in Jonathan’s section again. Amazing service for sure.

For my first visit, I was rather disappointed. Overall the restaurant was clean and orderly, but lights could have been a little brighter as it was a little dark for my liking. Especially when eating lunch. The food was alright, I had the Firecracker Chicken which did have a good taste but there was no firecracker to it. Basically, it was just deep fired chicken on brown (dry) rice. There wasn't even a sauce, I don't do soy...too salty...to give it flavor. And it's not even convenient! There is no "street entrance" that I saw and I walked over so had to walk around building to find the door. I suppose had I been driving, but I can honestly say, glad I didn't waste the gas.

Truly disappointed,I wanted to try something new and when I got home and opened it I found burnt egg rolls and the entree was overloaded with grease. I do not mind paying for food as long as it is good but this was ridiculous.

Came in for a quick dinner and the food was great like always. We met Alger, the general manager for this location and he’s an exceptional person! Definitely recommend this location, their food and service are always on point!

Original review, circa November, 2018: Most pleasant. Easy to deal with. Portions are decent. Parking is easy and plentiful. Staff can be a bit cold and curt but functional otherwise. Update 17 May 2019, 5pm: today, this location was filthy. Dried sugary drink stains all over the floor, some tables still had remnants of food from previous diners. Staff members were noted in guest area chit chatting while one cashier started handling a growing line of guests. Said cashier gestured for assistance, but they ignored her, and continued laughing away like they were paying guests. Food quality, quantity and variety continued to be decent. Food was freshly cooked enough though the white rice can use a bit more steaming. Those little rice crispy strands they put on regular rice continued to be an unnecessary and annoying distraction. Servers have the tendency to dip their sleeves or articles of clothing into guests' food while reaching. Very unappealing. Other staff also like to sweep under the table while guests are still eating. Didn't say anything or excuse themselves. Overall, a quick stop for a light meal is good...don't bring a date. Update: 6 October 2022. Very pleasant visit today. Food was decent. The place was clean. Service was helpful. Portions are still plentiful enough albeit at slightly higher prices. Good for a quick lunch stop.

The food was excellent, with decent portion sizes for the money. The atmosphere is more like a fast food place. Service was slow and the restaurant was not overly busy.

Got the chicken fried rice and it tasted nothing like it used to, months ago. The chicken was rubbery almost like it was entirely rib meat instead of real chicken breast. I got home and spent the next hour in the bathroom. Very sad if they sacrificed the quality of the protein given a $12 price point for an absolutely basic type of meal. The staff and manager were nice and I feel bad leaving one star but the food quality and not being sick afterwards are important.

The service was good, I got the chicken and broccoli with white rice. I felt the sauce was very salty with a flavor I was not expecting. The chicken had a little bit of an rubbery texture to it. Crab Wontons had a fishy taste that was more than normal. Not overall impressed and probably would not come back.
