Morning appointment, Arrived 30 mins early as a new patient to fill out paperwork, was told by front desk nurse who not once made eye contact with anyone that they’ll bring it to me. Got clipboard of standard paperwork 20 mins after appointment was scheduled to begin. Watched the waiting room turn several times before being called. Also watched an ENTIRE Disney movie, previews thru end of credits, on the waiting room TV. This movie was the ONLY “kid” thing this office had going on - no kid friendly decore, no pictures on the walls, no kid books, no toys, no coloring books, literally nothing between the waiting room and consultation rooms. You’d never know this place was for kids if you weren’t told. The highlight of this office visit was when I had change my child twice ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR while there, what kind of pediatric specialist group doesn’t have a changing table?! There’s plenty of wall space, see pic uploaded. Blew my mind. At almost 2 hours waiting with my 20 month old, got up to request refund of the $235.00 fee charged at check in, was then taken back to a room, saw doc about 3-4 mins tops and was out of there fairly quickly after that. Doc and nurse who took vitals were nice, nurse who saw us out was not.

If I could leave a one star review I would. We had three appointments here for our daughter with Doctor Polsky. The office is dingy and dirty. The ultrasound equipment used on my daughter looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Be prepared to wait a ridiculously long time in the waiting room and have your visit with the doctor be so brief he doesn’t leave time for questions. During our second visit at checkout, I overheard one of the girls tell the receptionist to not accept a patient who was 5 minutes late, yet they will let you sit in the waiting room for an extended period of time before being seen. Dr. Polsky also did a quick exam of my daughter’s private area without gloves, which in my opinion, is disgusting. Every time we had to call them we were on hold for ten minutes, if not more. Although there aren’t many pediatric urologists in the Tampa area, it would be worth the drive to go elsewhere. Expect a 45 minute to an hour wait every time you come here. This place is highly disorganized.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE, they’re money hungry and do not care about peoples time, money, or circumstances. The doctors office had me jump through all of these hoops to have my son seen and scrambled to have tons of paperwork done, just for us to arrive pay the copayment, see the doctor for a few seconds, and in the next breathe tell us they can’t help us, even though the situation and circumstances were explained to them weeks before and leading up to the appointment. I am highly disappointed and after reading the other reviews on this location I can see I’m not the only consumer they’ve let down. You’ve been warned!!!!!

The Doctor is great. His office staff AWFUL! (With exception of one young lady there we only spoke to her on the phone though) I sent $375 to see the doctor because of his office staff failing to do their job properly when scheduling my son in a timely fashion for a newborn procedure. Medicaid would no longer pay for the services after a certain amount of days. Then when seeing the doctor, he made the correct choice which I appreciated and the procedure on my son wasn’t preformed. He asked the front desk to refund part of the $375 payment. Office staff charged my credit card once on the day of the service then in error refunded me the full $375 days later. Then charged my card again $375 about 5 days after that, then refunded me the correct amount 3 days later … I’m happy to pay for the doctors services, what I’m upset about is they did not inform me of these errors and without my consent stored my credit card information and used it again to correct their error.

Son's initial appointment, did a quick exam, & went straight into talking (very fast) about surgery. Didn't ask if my child was experiencing issues. I wasn't even done filling out the paperwork for the Dr. to review to even know those answers. I mentioned that our PCM spoke of a steroid cream & the Dr. told us very confidently that it doesn't work for everyone but if that's what we wanted to do, he gave us the directions & would see us back in 2 months for a check up. We said we wanted to go with that first, AS he was walking out he said his assistant would check us out & answer any questions we had. Also, Dr.'s bedside manner is lacking with hyper active kids. The assistant didn't even know the receptionist's name. I was embarrassed for the young lady as the assistant finally asked after the 3rd name, what her name was. 10/10 wouldn't recommend until they change the way they practice medicine. First and foremost, surgeries are not the end all, cure all and can actuall have more complications than alternative treatment(s). The rest of the things listed below are suggestions that would make a great experience for everyone as a whole. They may not be the best ideas but would sure get the ball rolling for some change. Teambuilding. Hire a professional to come in quarterly to do team building events/activities because it was evident at this visit that the team (dr & staff) don't work well together. Communication class. Slow down, have patience for your patients. Atmosphere. Cleanliness is subpar & needs more attention. This is suppose to be geared to children yet the waiting area has nothing for them. I get it, COVID yet there wasn't a TV playing kid friends movies/tv stations, kid friendly tablets that can be easily wiped down between customers, charging stations for parents that came prepared with such items, a changing table in the bathroom or even a table for the children to sit at to play with thier stuff they bring with them.

So I went today and after reading the reviews I was a little nervous to be honest but I gotta say I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment, the paperwork was simple and quick. Before I could finish my paperwork they called me back immediately. Then after going into the room to wait on the doctor, it took Corbyons no time to get to me. Her advice was awesome and she was very professional and kind as well as the staff. I don’t know what’s going on with all the negative reviews but this place was well kept up, everyone was kind and professional.

Dr. Kolligan is a fantastic urologist. He has a great demeanor and is a skilled practitioner. HOWEVER, the office staff are awful. I have been calling over the past three weeks to get a prescription refilled for my son, and of the 10-15 times I have called, I have received one phone call back from a person Myra who said she "received my message." ONE message? She stated that she would have the prescription sent to the pharmacy I requested, but when I went, it wasn't there. I have called at least three additional times to see what is going on, but no response from the office. They never pick up. Terrible service.

Obnoxiously rude receptionist. Not helpful, making rude remarks and comments when emails don’t come through immediately. Disturbing that someone would be that nasty in front of children, let alone to other adults. Other people in the waiting room also treated the same and asked the employee to have more respect.

This office HAS to do something about the ridiculous wait times. I have been here twice, arrived 5 minutes early both times, and waited OVER AN HOUR EACH TIME in the waiting room to even be brought back to an exam room. Nobody in a pediatric specialty should have to wait over an hour, not to mention infants who need to frequently feed/be changed. There is not a changing table in the restroom so my infant twins had to be changed on the floor. Disgusting.

I would highly suggest to go make the drive to a different urology group. This office had us do a lot of work up to show my son had a issue. But then the Dr Polski to tell me he wouldn't fix the issue unless he got really sick. Every time he had a infection he got really sick but that didn't matter. I knew my son needed help so I seeked a second opinion and collectively a group of urologist agreed he needs treatment or will have more serious issues down the road. Please be your child's advocate because this office will not. If I could give 0 stars I would!

The dr is nice, but the staff, office, cleanliness, and scheduling is absolutely TERRIBLE! It’s not clean, you will be at your appointment for an average of 2 hours, staff isn’t professional or friendly, blinds are filthy dusty, and the list goes on. Oh, and when you go to the hospital and needs to see a urologist asap- they are booked 5-6 weeks out FOR EXISTING PATIENTS!! We seriously need more pediatric urologists!

The dr is great for surgery, but the office needs tons of work. You wait in the waiting room a while, but mostly getting someone to pick up the phone takes an hour. My son had surgery yesterday and i need to set an appt. started calling at 1: 27 and it's 2:11 and I've been hung up on 3 times and the rest is waiting to be hung up on!!!

If I were reviewing Dr. Botta alone it would be 5 stars. He was patient and kind, answered all our questions regaring our son. However the office itself leaves alot to be desired. The nurse could use some bedside manner lessons and they seem overbooked and understaffed. Wait times are egregiously long even for a specalist.

This review is only for their office, not their doctors. We had an initial appointment for a check up on a chronic condition. I left the office of Dr. Polsky with the promise to receive a letter in the mail on how to schedule an ultrasound at a different provider. I was told it’d take about 3 days. After 2 weeks of not reviving said letter I called. Was on hold for 20 min and then left a message after no one answered their phone during business hours. Never received a call back. A week later - now 3 week after appointment - I called again and was able to speak to someone in person. She needed to get my mailing address which I als most couldn’t believe that it wasn’t on file with them. After all I just filled out all the patient paperwork recently and the insurance had been billed by them successfully already. She promised the letter would go out that day and it was true, it arrived a couple of days later. We had the ultrasound and then the follow up appointment with Dr. Polski. I asked him to mail me his report directly since we are going to move out of state. We confirmed mailing address and left. It is now 1 month after the appointment with no letter obviously. I called them 10 days ago to ask for the letter and was told to request it from our pediatrician. The problem is that I spoke to the pediatrician and they haven’t received those records either. I requested a call by Dr. Polski’s nurse and she said she’d make sure we get that letter. Still no letter. Today I called again and was told they’ll put the letter in the mail. We’ll see. It shouldn’t take the patient multiple phone calls to receive a simple letter that’s part of the medical records.

Ever since Dr. K retired, this place has gone downhill. I’ve been taking my daughter here for the last 2 1/2 years, since she was born. We used to love the service that we get, and loved that every time we went there we were being prioritized and taken care of. now I have to fight and remind them constantly to have my daughter’s prescription refilled when it’s supposed to. I tried to keep my trust in this place due to the sake of them knowing my daughter’s condition, and the only thing that has been making me stay is Nurse Joney (it’ll be hard to find another nurse like her). Finally making the decision to switch to a different urologist, even if that means having to drive two extra hours. I will never recommend this place to anyone looking for a urologist for their kid.

You can’t get through to the office easily at all. My first call to them to schedule, the automated service recording lead me to hold. I was on hold so long it looped me back to the beginning of the automated recording. I called back went through it again and it’s as if the automated system hung up on me. I figured I’d try again the next day. After an extremely long hold, I got a person and made an appt. They couldn’t schedule for months out. My gut told me to seek another pediatric urologist and I did. When I called Children’s Urology Group to cancel, I couldn’t get a live person and again got kicked back to the beginning of the automated recording. I ended up faxing them with a note to cancel my appointment and why. That was that. I wouldn’t recommend any medical provider that you can’t get in contact with the office.

Dr. Botta has been incredible with my child. He preformed his surgery and has been very responsive and helpful during his recovery. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

READ AND PAY ATTENTION BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY. This office has got to be one of the least professional places I have ever been to. The 1st time I had an appointment here for my son’s circumcision surgery process, for 1 they were supposed to call me the day before to give me information and confirm with me the day before the appointment and also let me know I had a pay a copay of $235 for an appointment that didn’t even last 5 minutes and of course, they failed to call. So, I showed up to the appointment unaware that I had to pay this amount of money and ended up having to reschedule cause they only accepted cash or card and at that time I didn’t have my card with me cause it was being replaced and ever since nobody called the day before to give me this information, I didn’t come prepared with cash. The 2nd time I went to the appointment I was also supposed to get a call the day before and once again they failed to call and follow up with me. Thankfully I was already aware of the fee and came prepared. Now, I have paperwork that needs to be signed, I called and spoke to a girl idk her name nor do I care at this point. I spoke to her regarding some paperwork that needed to be signed by them and she advised I needed to fax the paperwork over to them and she re assured me she would give me a call the following Monday to collect the payment for this paperwork and they of course (not surprised) failed to do this as well. Not to mention, she transferred me over to a billing person cause I have questions regarding how much I will have to pay on the day of the surgery so we can be ready and not be told this information last minute like the first appointment I had. I left a voicemail to the person I got transferred to and no follow up has been done as of yet. I am highly contemplating at this point whether I should even proceed with my son’s surgery because if they are so neglectful to do something so simple as a follow up call with their clients , how am I supposed to trust you guys with my child’s life ? I wish I would’ve read the reviews sooner because I would had not even wasted my time and the $235 dollars I did and found myself a different clinic with actual profesional people working within the office. This is my written review but you can bet that you will also hear from me verbally. BUT ONCE AGAIN PEOPLE, READ BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO WASTE YOUR TIE AND MONEY .

EXCELLENT TEAM! After 9 years caring for our child, who has had a complex case, I remain grateful for their knowledge, compassion, and steadfast care. Thank you, seem like small words for the BIG gratitude we feel for you!!!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I gave 4 stars because they take too long to answer the phone, with me they never return the voice-mail I left. The good side is there is a reminder 1 day before and they send a msg 2 days before the appointment. Is $400 out of pocket without insurance. Procedure was very quickly 👍🏻

Was able to book an appointment within a few days of being referred. Wait time at the office was minimal. Dr Ballesteros was amazing. Took time to patiently explain everything and answer all our questions.

My daughter has been going to this practice for years, and I honestly feel it’s the worst it’s ever been! I tried to get an appointment for my daughter. They tell me they’re two months out. I speak with a manager who assures me that when the schedule opens up for November, she will call me right away and get her scheduled. Needless to say, I never heard from anyone, and I had to call in myself. I called today to speak with the nurse because I had to find out from my daughter’s pediatrician that her last kidney scan, her kidney is bigger than the last scan. No one has reached out to me to let me know anything, and to top it off I never received a call back. I put all my trust into these people for my daughter’s care, and I’m starting to feel that I shouldn’t!

We've had two appointments here and have spent a combined 4 hours in the waiting room. The lack of respect for other people's time is insane, especially considering the fact it's a children's group.

Dr. Ballesteros is phenomenal! Yes, there can be a wait but I'd wait all day for her. Office staff goes above and beyond. We wouldn't dream of going elsewhere!

The office is horrible. Dr. Botta was running six patients behind and wouldn’t accept us running late (20 min). If we would’ve been on time, we would’ve still been sitting there two hours later. The hypocrisy is insane. So it’s OK for the doctor to run behind but not OK for a parent who is stuck in traffic? Absolutely no empathy. Clearly he doesn’t need patients, therefore, no one should be referred to him. Manager of the office (super rude) said the doctor had somewhere he had to be at 5 o’clock. Office Manager said I was threatening him when I explained that I was going to be posting this on social media, and explaining the situation to my pediatrician who referred them. I was not threatening them. I was just telling him what my next steps were due to their horrible customer service, which I’m following through on now.

This place is horrible I called for 3 months straight leaving voicemails and everything trying to get my then 1 month old an appointment made they just called me last month to make an appointment I get there they said that they couldn’t see him because he was supposed to go to a different doctor before he came there but they never said that to me! They sent papers in the mail but didn’t put all the papers I needed stating to send him to a radiologist before hand

Dr Botta is fantastic and has one assistant that is good but thats really about it… the office needs a deep cleaning, the front desk staff are rude as hell, and you will be calling everyday M-F for two weeks before you finally get through.
