Just the hole in the wall I’ve been looking for! Don’t go if you want an upscale, fancy or even super clean environment. Go, if you want homemade, tasty food-breakfast in a laid back environment. I absolutely loved the rye toast. Someone who knows what “buttered “ toast is. It is worth the drive for me. A little suggestion to the venue.. umbrellas or some sort of shade for the outdoor diners. The sun gets hot here in Florida.

Amazing food, a little treasure in channel side. The staff by the second time I ordered the young lady already knew who I was. What.....I love that and the food...the food.....you have to stop by it's a great place to stop with family or for lunch with co- workers.

Zelda’s is the true definition of a place that’s a “hole in the wall.” Attached to a gas station, it certainly isn’t fancy or trendy… just a quick and inexpensive breakfast stop. But it’s one of those places that you’ll start to love if you go there a few times. The best surprise was that their breakfast sandwich is the best in the neighborhood. Don’t sleep on the deli sandwiches either.

Wonderful mom and pop place. Great food, very nice staff. Really cool outdoor seating as well. Large servings, best cheesy grits ever.

Standard place for breakfast. Nothing different or innovative here. Just standard breakfast choices. Dinners are not bad, with comfort foods that taste like home cooking.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Me and a couple of friends decided to stop by, and grab a quick bite before heading into the office. When we entered the restaurant we were met with eye rolls and a fake greeting. The food was beyond disgusting. I got a simple egg and cheese sandwich, they gave it to me with stale bread and undercooked eggs. Our server was rude and angry. She definitely doesn’t like to work there because she was taking her anger out on us. Saying snide comments under her breath as she came by. But it wasn’t the food or the service that brought me to give this 1 star, if i could I’d give it negative stars simply because of their owner, Carl. We brought to his attention that perhaps his server, wasn’t having the best day, explaining we heard the comments. But he refused to listen. Carl was rude and absolutely ignorant. I’ve never in my 20+ years of entrepreneurship and business owning have I met another business owner with the lack of awareness, compassion, and IQ that Carl showed. We wanted to support his small business as we ourselves our business owners, but because of him we’ll never eat there again, and well make sure that no one we know, our other business owners, come in and support Carl or his laughable “business”. He owns a seafood truck as well. That i know a couple people who are there, that got sick from it. STAY AWAY FROM ALL THINGS CARL.

Disregard the negative reviews, this is a cafe/deli meaning 1 or 2 people working and they are doing an amazing job. Local workers and local residents seem to be coming in on a regular basis. Friendly and welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating in an unassuming clean basic place. The place is very clean. Big portions, awesome food, amazing service. A locals hidden gem. Do not pass this place up!! Before a cruise or after. This is a must. Big diverse menu.

This is no longer called Zelda's! This is the Channelside Cafe attached to a Marathon gas station. The food and service was average. We were looking for breakfast in a nearby location using the trolley system. We were surprised by the location!

Love this place! Git lunch here twice so far and both times it was great, very tasty yet super simple. Feels like home-cooked comfort food. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and then the chicken Caesar wrap with macaroni salad. All yum!

Best Food in all of Tampa! I eat here on average two times a week and I'm never disappointed. From breakfast to lunch and dinner all of the selections are AMAZING. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable!!! The recent remodel is very nice and the outside seating is relaxing and nicely done! The service is always excellent! You will not be disappointed so please try it once and you'll be back!

Oh my! This place was wonderful and I’ll surely never forget it. I’m already making plans to try to come back tomorrow. The food was DELICIOUS! Made fresh, hot, from scratch. If you’re tired of the chain restaurant taste and want something affordable, this is it! It is definitely a hole in the wall place and very low key. I couldn’t believe how tasty it was!! It’s very quiet, steady service of singles and couples coming and going. They had to go or dine in. Cold Dr. Pepper in the cooler!!

I stopped by here while waiting on my train and it was a wonderful hidden gem. The portion sizes were great for the price and the food was delicious (I had the Channelside Chicken Wrap). Service was also excellent and fast. Thank you!

First time in Tampa for the Frozen Four. I am a very picky eater and Julia provided exceptional service and my food was amazing. It is a cute little spot that you should definitely try out! I dined in but took food back to the hotel for my husband…everyone was happy🥰

We needed some place to squat until our arbnb was ready. Someone recommended Zelda's. We are so glad they did. What a wonderful experience. Zelda was so gracious, the food was delicious and the portions were more than enough.

I used to live in Tampa a few years back and this was THE spot for me, whenever I wanted great food Zeldas was always there, I actually miss it and thats why I specifically came here to give this review! Hope all is well.

I’ve been coming to the spot for a long time and the food is amazing. I highly recommend getting the jerk chicken special if it’s available that day so much try if you like Caribbean food.

Staying within walking distance from Zelda’s so we thought we would give it a try for breakfast. The place was empty so we were not sure. Surprised, food was great and the place was filling up when we left. Give it a try. We will be back to try lunch soon.

Awesome food, fair priced. And you get your money's worth.

So first I’ll say the food was pretty good. I mean, it was a steak and cheese. I mean I have a pretty simple brain, I like steak and I like cheese. Not too hard to impress me with both. But, the vibe of the place was kind of off tbh. Its in a kind of sketchy spot. It’s right next to a weird gas station, and this really over priced vape store. The vape store is kind of cool but it’s just not worth the money spent, but anyway I apologize, this review is for Zelda’s not the vape store. I’ll do that one next. Anyway, there was a person sleeping out front of this vape store. Couldn’t tell if it was an old person or a really weathered crack-head but they kind of bothered me as I was eating. It’s probably bad on me that I sat outside but I was trying to enjoy the nice day. 4 stars for the food, 2 for the vibe, you get a 3.

Great food and service. We came here twice on our vacation, the portions are very generous. The club sandwich i got was one of the best (and biggest) ive ever had. Well definitely be back here next time we are in Tampa!

Great atmosphere? Nope. Best breakfast I've had in a VERY long time? Yep! 100%. I would consider other cruises out of Tampa just so I can have breakfast here! Julia was awesome as well.

The worst experience I have ever had. I got a Philly cheesesteak and it was dog food! They barely put any steak at all... I was eating bread!!! The lady tells me to grab a drink as implying it comes with the meal... I went from paying 9.50 to 19.00!!! Absolutely horrifying service and these people are not fit to be in this business at all. I hope they suffer financial burden for their crimes against humanity. Shame! Shame! Shame!

Hands down one of the best hidden gems in Tampa Bay! Their jamaican patties are everything! We drive 40 mins each weekend now just to have breakfast and patties for later!

Been a patron of this little place for awhile and will continue. It's rather simple in many ways, yet friendly and high quality altogether. Doesn't disappoint and I highly recommend.

So I’ve walked by this place several times and finally stopped in. What a great little hole in the wall. My western omelette with cheese grits was amazing. Ate every bit of it. The prices are reasonable and not over-priced like most places in this area. Give this place a try!

Don’t let first impressions fool you, this place is a diamond in the ruff. Had the corned beef hash and veggie omelet and it was amazing. Great toast, and I’m pretty picky when it comes to that. For a diner the coffee was very good, and service was excellent. This place is definitely on our list to come back to the next time we’re in Tampa!!!

The staff here were so friendly and welcoming and when i asked questions about some of the menu items they didn’t hesitate to answer. Truthfully, they went above and beyond with the service and the food was absolutely delicious, cheap, and had very large portion sizes. Overall, whenever i am in Tampa again, i will friendly be visiting again.
