Not much to say here, 5 star Spanish restaurant, if you are looking for that type of Spanish food where it's like mom/abuela made it, this it. Not a commercial over the top spot. It's very humble family type vibe. Really good for a Spanish lunch fix or take home dinner fix. Not a sit down for a date type place, there's other higher scale ones for that vibe. Definitely worth the $9 or so you will spend on your meal for sure! 5 stars easy though, better than any Spanish restaurant on this level.

Staff is rude avoids customers. I’ll die before I ever come here again. I would give zero stars if I could. I also saw the be rude to a door dash driver. Sad, bad business.

Very delicious breakfast for under 6$. Came out quick, food was super hot and fresh. The potato's "home fries" were not your typical breakfast side, these potatoes were soft and seasoned to perfection with tiny bits of crispy onion. The two textures were amazing together. Eggs came out amazing, usually when you get fried eggs and ask for over medium, you get eggs that are way too runny. But these were cooked just right, no runny whites and some of the yolk cooked but some still runny. Sausage was crispy and very tasty, went very well with the rest of the food. Last but not least the Cuban toast was excellent, toasted and very soft, warm and full of butter. My mom's omelette was full of veggies, and meat, and looked very yummy. I would definitely recommend coming here to get some breakfast or lunch 💕 authentic and great prices.

Had a great breakfast. Staff was super friendly and even entertained my attempt to order en Espanol. Will be back. Had a great dinner style omelet, some fresh bread, and delicious cafe con leche.

Food was a bit on the cooler side, but still warm enough that it didn't need to be reheated. It was also kinda pricey for the portion size. Where they won me over was the taste, their carne guisa was flavorful and soft. They also offered a side of buttered bread with meals. Guy at the register was quick, friendly and polite. I gave them only 3 stars because it was 11am and that food should've been a bit warmer. I would go again if in the area.

Authentic Cuban food. The Mambos breakfast sandwich is delicious. Big chunks of peppers and onions with eggs and cheese on a pressed Cuban bread. Budin is excellent; arrive early enough in the morning and it'll still be warm. Great strong Cuban coffee. I'm a New Yorker transplanted to Tampa and I will certainly return. Mambos reminds me of all the delicious Latin food in NYC. The space itself is a simple, no-frills, diner style seating. Will return.

Casual little Cuban place . One of the best, Cuban sandwiches I've ever had piled with meat, especially the fresh roast pork chunks. Delicious!

My brother in law came all the way from Puerto Rico to eat at this restaurant!! This was my first time dining here. The food was bursting with flavor, the service was fast and courteous, and the music kept me tapping my feet for the entire time I was dining.

I love this place, the owner is outstanding. They open very early making it easy to grab a hot breakfast before school or work. This is my #1 breakfast spot in Tampa.

This is a small family ran Cuban restaurant in a neighborhood that has delicious food and great prices, the service was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am from NY and finding a BEC sandwich that hits my soul anywhere else is almost impossible. This B.E.C Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and the 2 Eggs with Your Choice of Bacon, Ham or Sausage & Grits or Home Fries & Cuban Toast were absolutely delicious. Bacon to perfection, the eggs, the toast and Cafe Con Leche Large was as if my Mom hand made it... I would give 10 stars

Found this place by accident and I’m glad I did. Went to the area to get lunch from a different cafeteria, but when I got there it was closed. Did a quick search and found Mambos and decided to give it a shot. They had ready made food on the steam table that looked good but I got their Cuban and it was fantastic. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a min. If you’re in the area, check them out!

Had my Cafe Con Leche which was very good. I ordered the eggs with home fries, eggs were over cooked on bottom, but good, the cuban toast needed more butter it was actually dry.

I only had Cuban coffee with milk. It's not fair to review the restaurant based on this. I do wish the beverages and the prices were more prominently displayed. The service was good. They were quite busy.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was the best Cuban sandwich I have ever eaten!! I love Cuban food and have eaten at many Cuban restaurants from Key West to North Florida. I will definitely be eating at this place again. It’s clean, cozy and has delicious authentic Cuban food.

I go here when I want the best Pork Chunk Chicereones, so good!! I grew up on a farm and my Granny would fry up pork chunks with all the good fat, meat, and crunchy skin goodness. I love it!! Everything else is great too. The ladies serving are always helpful and nice. Simple and good, the best kind of neighborhood cafe.

I love this place. $5 for large coffee and cheese toast? Yes, please! But call ahead, as this quaint little spot can have long wait times.

I don’t I understand how they’re going to charge me even $10 for lunch that come with only three pieces of meat, three small pieces of meat they are robbing people. Also, their food is not good at all. Please do not go to the restaurant you are going to regret and you were going to lose your money.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I've had their breakfast.. it's amazing. The cubans... amazing. Today I tried the beef stew & arroz con gandulez... I'm speechless. I ate my food so fast and forgot to take a picture.. the ladies are extremely friendly even if you don't speak Spanish. The prices are probably the most affordable for this type of food. The pernil was perfectly seasoned. I'm saying it now... this is the best Latin food you will find in Tampa. THE BEST.

Small place with great food. It's cafeteria style and they dish up good-sized portions for you. I had their wonderful Spanish beef stew today. Big chunks of tender beef, potatoes and carrots and great stew gravy. With yellow rice and black beans, it was great comfort food. Friendly folks serving real good food at fair prices.

This place would make a lot more money if they understood customer service. A lady walks in and orders her eggs over easy; the gentleman at the register rolls his eyes and laughs in her face…. Breakfast was ok but I’ll never come here again.

This place is still serving in plastic ware and the cheap one. We're not in 3rd world country be more elegant and please have a trash can available. Customer service always good.

OMG! Excellent food. Great prices. And the staff was very friendly. They even answered my questions, even though I butchered the Spanish language.

I’ve been coming here for years and I can honestly say that their food is good, this is why I come back. Why I honestly gave them two stars is that the service on some of the employees and their attitude is horrible. Not speaking on all employees, but what I’m rating is really more on how I feel on their customer service. P.s. I miss the older Cuban lady that worked their she was lovely.

Excellent food. I have been coming to this restaurant for few years and I have seen how they keep this restaurant so clean it’s amazing. I recommend this place everyday. Staff treat you with the most respect. Love my Latin culture. Always which them continuous success. The BEST place in Tampa and maybe the only great place to eat safely. Other restaurants should follow their lead.

I've been coming here for years. The staff here have practically watched my children grow up. The food is amazing as always. Fantastic food made by amazing and such sweet people. We love them all. Today we went in and it was not as busy and they were all so happy and were really fast at getting our boxes together. I promise you'd not be disappointed if you stop by and eat there!

Authentic Cuban food and atmosphere. Great little place that reminds me of real Tampa, and what has been a huge part of our heritage.
