Absolutely great place & staff! This is a very nice establishment with great food. I had the Buffalo wings & fries with a club soda with lime my first visit and second I had the rib eye with green beans. The steak was perfectly seasoned & cooked. Fresh food, quick service, very friendly staff & the ladies room is the perfect place for selfies.......if you're into that but who can resist a beautiful back drop. Spacious with an urban curb appeal inside and out. It's a must try but be sure to dine in and get the full experience.

From the food to the customer service, everything was on point! The Henny mint berry drink was so good! I enjoyed the shrimp and grits ! It was so tasty and there wasn’t even cheese in it! The culinary director even came out to speak to us which was a nice touch! Their bread pudding is super tasty and has some sort of liquor in it. I also would recommend the chicken lollipops, chicken soup and the chicken and waffles. The sauce on the chicken and waffles is a little spicy but good. Definitely will eat here again! Parking is a bit limited so get there earlier to find parking but the music jamming and the overall vibe is good for brunch with friends or even a bae brunch occasion.

The music and vibe is really good. This was my first time here for brunch. We arrived at 2:30 pm, we were immediately seated and the waitress didn't take long to greet us. We placed our order about 2:40 pm maybe 2:45is pm. It all went downhill from there. I ordered steak n eggs with onions, peppers and home fries. I ordered the broccoli tempura for an appetizer. My friend ordered the jerk Cauliflower for an appetizer and grits with smoked Oxtail. My friend got her entree (smoked oxtail) at 3:25 pm and I got my appetizer (tempura broccoli) at the same time. Then at 3:35 her appetizer (jerk Cauliflower) arrived. I requested a manager because my steak n eggs still didn't arrive and other ppl who came in afterwards had there food come out before mine. Finally my steak n eggs showed up at 3:45pm with no onions or peppers, no home fries, no steak sauce no salt or black pepper at the table and when requested, they gave me, I guess there version of a steak sauce. 😕 It did come with a huge side of grits, that tasted really good. I love supporting black owned businesses, but brunch is not for a weak kitchen. I have heard the lunch and dinner menu is faster. I wasn't impressed with the flavors. I was told the meal would be taken off the bill, but it wasn't. The bill came up to $153.00 and that included a to go order that my homegirl ordered (shrimp alfredo) for her dude. We only had waters and no hookah. Never again for brunch 😒

These wings and drinks were everything. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to return with my hubby. My brother recommended and it didn’t disappoint. The vibe and customer service were stellar!

My wife and I went on a Saturday afternoon. We love the 90s R&B and Hip Hop. The waitress was great and friendly. We ordered shrimp and grits which cost $24 for 5 shrimp, an order of french fries that $10, small asian wings. The shrimp and salsa was good with home made chips. We did not like the bread pudding, but the waitress kindly removed it from the check. The drinks were good but not strong. The bathroom was extremely CLEAN and NICE. We will be back but will not be ordering $10 fries or Bread Pudding.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly, attentive and stylish waitresses. The food is spectacular, clean and tasty. I'll be back soon because I loved it. Juliette is a beautiful woman, best and cute, she is my personal waitress.

Please make sure you check your RECEIPTS! We dined in for a birthday celebration and were charged for things we did not order nor receive. The waiter claimed she was going to change it but unfortunately we were still charged the entire price of the food we didn’t receive. This was my second time dining here which was at first a great experience music was nice, food was decent, waiter was nice, but unfortunately I shouldn’t have to dine somewhere I have to double check behind the waitress and be overcharged. As a black business we need to do better!

I would say, don’t waste your time going to this restaurant. It is advertised as being a nice restaurant, but the ambiance is horrible. The food is not cooked properly. We ordered spring rolls as appetizers they came out and burnt. We requested fresh ones. They said that that’s how spring rolls are cooked. Which was Burt. Our drink came out with hair in it. The decorations look cheap. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

It is a really nice hang out spot. It was Caribbean Night when we visited and the live pan music and the DJ was good. The guy on the pan also played the guitar and sang. Very versatile performer. The food was good, I had shrimp tacos and it really needed some type of salsa or chutney or something to make me go WOW. 2 people had the gumbo and neither liked it. 2 people had the salmon and they loved it. Someone else had the fried chicken and she liked it and the other person had the red snapper she loved it. It did not wow me either. The jerk cauliflower is very spicy so beware. The lollipop wings was good as well. I would visit again to get my dance on. We had fun.

We had oxtails, beans and rice and chicken with mashed potatoes. The flavor of the food was really good. I did four stars instead of five because I wasn’t crazy about the a la carte set up. Also wasn’t crazy about the chicken being served with the bones, but that’s just my preference.

I enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the attentiveness of the staff was appreciated. I had the Oxtails and grits and the jerk chicken egg rolls. You get a lot of grits with this dish. A friend had the fried chicken. We both enjoyed our food. Everything was so flavorful.

First time here and I thought it was pretty cool. The atmosphere is pretty chill along with good music and the service was nice also it’s black owned so that’s a plus because I like supporting black owned businesses. I order the fish and grits with scrambled eggs on the side and it was delicious. They threw some creole sauce around the edges of the grits and it was tasty. Of course I had to add some hot sauce and mixed a little ketchup and mustard on the fish to kick it up a notch for myself. I also ordered the bottomless mimosas which I enjoyed however I do wish they just gave you the bottle instead of waiting for the server to keep refilling the cup. I only say that because it’s timed for 2hr. if it’s busy with the sever having other parties to handle along with you or your party, that can take your time and also have the server bouncing around Overall great place for dates, family, celebrations, or just grabbing food and they have a bar.

Wasn’t even aware the place existed and as a member of the black community that is PARAMOUNT! Google please help minority owned businesses with exposure to the greater community! NONETHELESS they took the time to accommodate our rather large party (during this unprecedented time) with no hesitation. Service was GREAT and though busy they made every effort to meet our needs! Food was good and the variation on traditional dishes was refreshing. I can vouch for the hospitality and sense of community here..and I see their commitment to becoming a foundational establishment. 10 stars out of 5…your patronage will keep it going

I can’t rave about this restaurant enough. Newly opened and blown away by their stellar cuisine! From appetizers to desserts I’m confident your palette will NOT be disappointed. I love spicy so my favorite appetizer was the Jerk Cauliflower and I’m not a huge fan of cauliflower BUT Jerk Cauliflower I’m there for it! If you like less spicy the Chicken Lollipop is also quite delicious. You absolutely MUST HAVE the bread pudding it’s life changing!!! Many cocktails to chose from but so far my two favorites are The Dizness Princess and the Henny Mint Berry. I look forward to dining here again in the near future. Highly recommend!!!

Slid in for lunch after finding it my Google search for black owned restaurants. A great place for a midday segue. Will be returning, frequently. Jeremy, the bartender, made great drinks and convo, The Ciroc Farewell Summer (not pictured, didn't last long lol) a must try for sure...Had the Jerk Chicken Burger w/truffle fries & seasonal veggies, all well seasoned & cooked to perfection. REAL chicken burger, hand patted and everything, you won't find it anywhere else... The chef came and asked how we felt about our meal, nothing but kudos abound...Everyone on the staff, spoke with a few, was more than cordial & helpful. Great ambiance, definitely a place to share & vibe with your people. Looking forward to the grand opening & the frequent visits to follow. Great Job Burnz, thanks for being here 💯

Nice atmosphere, wasn't impressed by the appetizer I got. The broccoli tempura batter on it was not done. So didn't even try dinner. Just paid 25 dollars for 1 drink and a appetizer I didn't even eat... brought it home to cook it more..Wow

To say the experience (because it was an experience), was incredible, would be an understatement. The staff were incredible, the food was amazing, the prices were below market for value. Even the bathroom was inspiring! We absolutely enjoyed the entire experience! I AM grateful🤗

Considering the size I think they work well with the space. I love the fact that it's two sides, one for cigar smokers and chilled vibes and one for the restaurant. The music was very good and so was the food. I loved my drinks..I forgot the name of the two I got. I ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection. I wasn't to crazy about the red sauce with vegetables that it came with but was told prior to ordering it could be adjusted if I preferred. I chose to try it like the chef prepares it just to try something different. If you like red sauce you'll love it. The sides were very large portion which for the most part the sides seemed to be a la cart. The staff was very nice even though they were pretty busy.

This was myself and husband first time coming here. We went to the cigar lounge first and my husband went inside and said never mind, we turned around, left we were leaving until I found the front door to the restaurant, should have kept going. We go inside I guess because it was early, nobody was there, but the people who work there, am assuming. Some young lady came to the table and said she was going to get us some water, came back with the water it was hot. I knew when the water was hot I knew the food wasn’t going to be any better. I ordered some meal with Roasted Chicken and Mashed potatoes, was disappointed in the whole plate food had no type of flavor and it looked old. My husband asked for pork chops but they claim they was out, so he got the lamb chops plate for $40 and the mashed potatoes was separate, extra charge he was very disappointed as well, the drinks we ordered were ridiculous. The music was the only thing that was good about this place. They do not need to be selling plates because the cook can not cook. They need to be fired or hire chef Ramsey, because this ain’t it. Just sell the cigars, appetizers and drinks but learn how to fix the drinks and food first. Then maybe y’all can get better reviews, this why I do not support this type of establishment, my intuition never fails me. I just gave it try, never again. The $102 + the tip my husband left was not even worth it.

Vibes. Food. Music. Crowd. Atmosphere. And those drinks! The cuisine is Caribbean/southern fusion (the best food styles). They are heavy-handed with the drinks. They also have an adjoined cigar lounge as well. This place is definitely the spot for all your restaurant/turn-up vibe needs. I went last week with a large party for a suprise birthday dinner and the experience was amazing. Our servers, Bria and Satin, were on point the whole night. The owners and managers are very friendly and will accommodate anyway that they can. I will definitely be returning soon.

Went on Memorial Sunday - early afternoon. It wasn’t very busy during the time we went. The floor was a bit sticky. There was no soap in the women’s restroom (which I mentioned to an employee). They didn’t have much of what we wanted to order on the menu…not even fried plantain. Ended up eating wings there and taking my broccoli tempura to go. Wings were good (buffalo and mango bbq), so was the broccoli. Would go back - good customer service overall, and that’s always a plus in my book!

Set a reservation for 50 people over a month ago to have my brunch birthday here. On the day of the event the restaurant closed without any notice or call. We had over 50 people standing outside waiting with no heads up. This is ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. The least they could do was call and let us know ahead of time so we could have made other arrangements. They ruined a special day because of unprofessionalism and no respect for other peoples time. It's a real shame when you want to support your community and this is the type of service you receive. I will NEVER support this establishment in the future!!
