First came across Shalimar a couple of years ago while watch shopping & Rishi went out of his way to match a really low price from Amazon & I've been shopping here ever since! No matter the budget they give you the VIP treatment & give honest advice.

Best experience I’ve had at a jeweler. Jitu handled everything we needed, but also went the extra mile to make sure our wedding day would be even better. Nothing but professionalism and a true passion for jewelry and service. Would recommend to anyone whether you are looking for a $60,000 gold chain or a simple silver bracelet.

I’m very unhappy with a $500.00 purchase I made for my sons birthday, I purchase ear rings that kept breaking my sons ear out when I took it to the store they cleaned it and said it was fine. I had to take the ear rings out because my sons ear kept breaking out, I tried wearing the earrings myself but I also had a negative reaction to them. The ear rings just sit on my dresser and I forgot about them When I took them back to the store they stated that it could not be returned because it had been past 30 days, it sucks because I wasted my hard earned money on something that I can’t use and they refused to accommodate me. The manager said that he could not resell the earrings and he can give me some money back but it would not be nowhere near what I paid for them, I will definitely be letting people know to not visit this place their jewelry is not real and they will no longer be getting my money.

Exceptionally bad service. We got a custom ring made and had a design in mind. They validated it but didn’t make it as expected. There was a significant difference in gold used and final product. Even when they remade the ring, the gold used was reduced drastically from original estimate. We feel it’s deceiving because if things cannot be made according to custom design, we should be notified and additionally if you are charging good amount $1343 for a simple easy designed ring, we should be using exact amount of gold as promised. Dishonest! This place wasn’t for me.

Absolutely loved the experience I had at Shalimar, the person that helped me was very knowledgeable and super patient with me as I asked to try on a bunch of different rings. They were all very nice and I will definitely be returning with some jewelry I have at home that needs to be fixed. Here is the ring I bought it’s so beautiful! Best selection and prices in town.

My husband and I got our wedding bands from here and they were great. The in-house jeweler, Aldo, personally came out and assisted the other employee in helping us find the perfect rings and which band me would go best together. Everyone we interacted with was so helpful in the entire process. This place is the real deal and they take their time to work with you to get exactly what you’re looking for! I will be going to them for any jewelry I need in the future and will refer all my friends to them. I am so happy with our rings and the service we received here!

My husband and I went to the store in Temple Terrace on 56th Street and Ms. Komal helped us with X-Mas gifts for our daughters. They were extremely nice and very helpful. The customer service was above and beyond. The prices are reasonable we will be back 👍🏼

I bought my wedding ring here about 2 years ago and since then I’ve had 3 stones fall out. They claim lifetime warranty but not true. They replaced the diamond the first time but I was charged the other times. I’ve never had such an issue with real jewelry and stones constantly falling out. Only shopped here because they had the exact ring I was looking for in their window but wish I had done some research before. Buyer beware!

The Guys at Shalimar Jewlers westshore Especially Jitu and Christian are the best came in for custom engraving, the were same day and very friendly. I’ve been in sales myself for a long time but these guys genuinely seem to care for their customers. Coming from a guy who never writes reviews the were phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Jitu and Christian were absolutely amazing. They provided great service and were so easy to work with and knowledge. The skill from Christian to be able to make a vision for a gift I had come alive was awesome . I 100 percent recommended them at the west shore location! Just a way to educate you guys out there dealing with shalimar! We had a piece a jewelry made with Shalimar and we felt like we were deceived since we paid a heavy price for it. Jitu can be very very eloquent and has answers for everything, making you question you own knowledge at times. Do your homework, research gold prices, get an estimate of what you want for you customized jewelry and then get everything in writing! Jitu will say we have no idea what the weight will be of a product! That’s a lie they may not know the exact weight but they always know about the ballpark weight, what we got was a significant difference of 3 grams in gold, Jitu said no worries we are happy to refund $25-30 for it when we were at his store. Anyone that knows the prices of gold knows it’s more than that. We aren’t interested in a refund because at this point it is a matter of principle and not about the money. What Jitu doesn’t realize is that there’s only so many things you can say to a customer to justify yourself, without coming across as dishonest. We will have to pay for a full price to get the ring re done elsewhere. Get everything in writing from them especially about your gold and weight expectations, you will thank me later.

My husband Neil and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last week. Part of our celebration included gift-giving, and my gifts were in the form of jewelry. Neil had gone to Shalimar's, in a last-minute quandary AND with less money saved than he'd intended. Nonetheless, Rick apparently felt his plight and helped him out with a lovely chain necklace, medallion pendant and a gorgeous pair of hoop earrings that was affordable for his budget. While shopping, Neil had problems deciding between the medallion or a crucifix, but Rick explained to him that if the medallion wasn't a hit, it could be returned and exchanged for a crucifix of equal value (weight). After giving me my gift, he told me he'd been on the fence regarding the medallion/crucifix choice. We decided that the cross would be a better option and three days later, we returned to the store and met with Rick and Shirley. They obviously remembered my husband from prior visits. After comparing the weights of my medallion and the crucifix in question, we were able to secure a straight exchange. I can only say good things about the staff and their demeanor with customers; they have been kind, courteous and their inventory seems to be of the highest quality. I give Rick and Shirley accolades and high praise regarding their attention to us this afternoon. This visit to Shalimar has been one of several successful visits where we were able to buy fine jewelry for one another. We definitely will return when it's time to make the next purchase. Poor quality jewelry at an expensive price.

They really want you to be satisfied with your custom piece. They are big on attention to detail as well. Highly recommend .
