The view from the coffee was outstanding. Not recommended for tourists and Families, since you will not feel secure inside it. Very crowded no seats Has no menu only residents serving the drinks and some food, with No quality at all No organization, no service Don’t ever try this place!!

Great old place full to the brim with locals at sunset. Glorious views to the north so you can see Spain. On a windy day, the sea is sparkling with white waves. Pick a terrace, any terrace, and enjoy the views!

I came midday on a Monday to minimize any crowds. Found a seat quickly with a nice view and was offered mint tea shortly after by a gentleman with a metal carrier. Wonderful views and enjoyed the tea.

Relaxing time at this cafe overlooking the coast. They couldn't offer crepes so had an avocado milkshake which was nice. The service was very good, the guys were friendly and polite. Great views and relaxing area. I would like them to improve on the cleanliness of the table and chairs though.

Legendary Café with spectacular views overlooking the straight of Gibraltar. The mint tea is a must and you can also try the Moroccan famous soup (bissara). The service could be better organized because it is quite messy right now.

Really nice place to relax and see the ocean. Drinks include mint tea and coffee, someone also sells desserts which is nice.

A cool place with a nice view! I liked it and the stuff was friendly as well. It was also pretty full which showed that's a busy place. The mint tea is really good. You should enjoy this view as much as possible.

Truly a hidden gem.. tucked away in a backstreet in Tangier.. the view here is absolutely spectacular... the prices are embarrassingly reasonable considering the size and position of this wonderful establishment.. Not to be missed on any visit to this truly beautiful city

It was very crowded. There is a low chance you'd get a good place to have a good view of the sea. People kept changing places once other people left the café to get a better view, and kept moving chairs here and there, which made the atmosphere less enjoyable. Service was just fine.

Sure it has its historic value and a nice view. The service is abysmal at best. Not sure if they are understaffed, don't care, or are just lazy. Mid-day Saturday, place wasn't busy, I couldn't get service if I threw money on the ground .... Food took forever, wasted 2 hours of my day. Shame

The food was okay but great scenaries of the sea and Spain from the cafe. I also enjoyed talking to the locals at the café.

The view was fantastic. The service needs improvement; as an example, the server brought sugar cubes to the table in his bare hands.

A must visit place for great views and sip some tea. The views of the ocean here are just breathtaking . Although I have to admit my experience with service was poor , I had to ask for some B'ssara thrice and I went and got it myself.

Since it is a touristic point, it would be important for them to get some more presented servers and provide a small menu for the people who come. I only ordered a tea because my friend recommended me this place, but honestly i was so disappointed..

Great views and tea! The cafe is super popular. The view is great. The tea was really good. Many of the tables hadn't been cleaned off and there was a lot of cig smoke blowing around. Be prepared, this place is very relaxed and it did take a long time for a waiter to show up. The breeze from the sea was pretty cold. It's worth it for the view and the delicious tea, but not necessarily a place for a dinner

Ohhh oh I love this place so so much. It's a must in Tangier. It's my fourth time in Tangier and I always come here. To get a table isn't that difficult how it seems. I always squeeze next to some else and I get my spot. The tee is very good but expect it to be very sweet. The best of this place for me is the atmosphere, the views, how's everything looking, it gives me good vibes.

The place is One of the oldest cafes in tangier. The view is stunning and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. The menu is very basic and limited to few Moroccan dishes. The staff are good and friendly.

Good vibes, fantastic pamaromic view of the ocean. You can see Europe sitting here, sipping tea. We had the famous mint tea here and it was good. Service is quick and good too. Loved the ambiance! Be here during sunrise or sunset.

Perfect place for a Mint/Wormwood Tea, the prices are convenient 12MAD ~ 1.20€. You have an outstanding view on the Mediterranean Sea, when the weather is clear you can see the Spanish Coast from your seat. They have a small mosque in the Cafe if someone wants to pray. I highly recommend this historical Cafe to anyone visiting Tangier at least once

The scenery is truly stunning. However, the process of ordering coffee can be challenging if you don't speak Arabic. It seems that there is a lack of effort in making the experience accessible, which I suspect was not the case in 1921. My recommendation is to opt for a mint tea instead and savor the magnificent view—it's definitely worth it.

An iconic and beautiful cafe in Tangier, it’s well known by locals and it’s worth visiting :) The service is very slow so i would recommend only taking a tea there that you can purchase directly from the nearest waiter. They wander around holding a lots of cups of teas, make sure to call them when you see them around to order. They sell sweet mint tea. It’s very relaxing, i really enjoyed this place.

The view is wonderful, the vibe is lovely, however the staff barely come and ask what you want, and place is dirty.

The View of the sea is amazing, but it is not the best cafe. A bit messy due to visitors and locals, food is not that great. Come to this place and have Moroccan tea, nothing else.

The best views of the house for a vip view of the sunset and Tangiers breathtaking views! This place is the perfect spot for a Moroccan coffee or even better, mint tea, for a chance to relax, spend some time observing the ocean while soaking it all in. You can go anytime of the day but the best time is of course sunset. There are shaded areas if you prefer to not get direct sun but I recommend direct sun since you’ll have a nice breeze blowing through. Make sure to grab a little snack like the Moroccan crepe with Nutella. You’ll for sure love the views here and the best part, the views are free. You don’t need to order a minimum amount or spend so much to enjoy this beautiful place in Tangier.

The 1 star is ofcourse only for the nice view. I was so disappointed that such a nice place / view doesn't have the appropriate staff and service and food quality. The food was not fresh, and the service was terrible. In my opinion, if i would come visit Hafa for the view, then i would only order the Mint tea.

Beautiful views and a casual dining atmosphere. Plan to spend some time here, service and food aren't the quickest and it seems people prefer it that way to sit & talk, play cards, read. Ordering was a little challenging with no menu and language barriers but staff were friendly. The omelet (essentially a grilled cheese meets savory Ffrench toast) was delicious, as was the Nutella crep. Large portions.

The scenary is breath-taking. We had simply mint tea, looking over the Mediterranean sea - such a splendid experience! The service was surprisingly quick and efficient, nothing fancy though. Worth visiting Café at Tang

Chilly day at the cafe... very nice vote of Spain, Gibraltar, and the sea. But that's about it. The chairs are all the cheapest plastic. Tables universally dirty and stone. Nicely tiled but dirty and busted up. The whole area is dirty and busted up. Perhaps in the summer they take care of it? Service was friendly but slow to non-existent. If you're not drinking sweet (very sweet) mint tea, go somewhere else. Tea was cheap at 12DRM I suppose. Offseason, so not very busy, easy to get a table.

It worth the visit, amazing view , just go for it and you'll never regret especially if you find a place where you can see the see and spain from tangier side, food was delicious, café was crowded so i thought food will be late, but i was surprised it didn't.

Nice place to have a drink or food with spectacular views of the Tangier port. Getting someone to get your order is a bit difficult to be honest but be patient.

I was shocked at the state of this café. The staff is busy with their own things and walked around shocked by the mess. We sat next to dirty tables, trash and empty tea cups while waiting for someone to take our order. It was a complete dump, we stayed for 30 minutes and just couldn't take it anymore. The view was amazing though. It's a shame they don't take care of it.

This represents Tanger! If you visit the city you must visit this Cafe. Don't expect fancy food, decorated on a plate. The menu is limited, everyone orders the same thing: mint tea in a cup. If you're hungry, order eggs and cheese for breakfast. Everything was good but the views left us all speechless! I loved this place.

We got told we had to come here and that it was a cultural must in Tangier. Not quite sure if it was just drinks or menu , hard to tell during our visit in Ramadan. There seems to be a policy for bring your own food but don’t take our word for it. Eventually after a chat in broken Spanish by a kind and helpful waiter, we were given a lovely traditional platter to break the fast during Ramadan. This was a lovely cultural experience to be a part of and thank the waiter for taking care of us that night. The views are fantastic from the terraces, it’s certainly a must at sundown. It’s got big hype but it’s actually just chairs on a terrace so don’t expect anything before you go.

Cozy place with an awesome view on the sea. However, loud music played by other customers is a common thing there and could ruin the setting for others.

👍👍 A very wonderful cafe overlooking the sea directly. The view of the sunset is wonderful. The service is more than excellent. The food, coffee and sweets are delicious and soft. I advise everyone who visited Tangier to visit the place. I was very happy in the place.
