staff wonderful pity the chef doesn’t know rib eye steak 1 medium 1 medium rare both cooked wrong had to pay extra for chips and salad. Definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here but rest of club is great. Would give half star except couldn’t 😡😡😡😡😡

This was our first visit to the club and we were very impressed. The club was very clean, their staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Last but not least, the food was delicious! Will definately be eating there on our next visit to Taree.

Pretty good breakfast. Good sized portions and well presented. My only complaint is that they put wet/saucy items on top of the toast - so it gets all mushy. :-\ Great spot if you can sit in the window with a view over the Manning river. Very friendly service!

New Cafe owners have some interesting menu items. We liked the potato pizza and the grilled prawns

Great spot right on the mighty Manning River. Good service, food looked good, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Beer was cold and refreshing.

Customer service: excellent Food: Terrible. $100 for 2 entrées and 2 meals (2 vegetarian) Better luck your money in the bin.. The steak was ordered medium rare and served medium well, not even room temperature mushroom gravy came with it. With only 2 vegetarian options, we ordered both, entree of crumbed eggplant tasted like a stick of greasey canola oil and zero flavour. The main of roasted beetroot was terrible, I only ate one mouthful and asked for a box to take it home to give to my animals.... Good place for the view and a beer only....we wont come to back, and wouldn't recommend eating here at all

Amazing food. Compliments to the Chef. Big portions, but so nice we had to finish them. Big ahout out to Waitress Renee I think her name was, for putting as in at the end of the night. Such a beautiful view of the river at Sunset too from the balcony

We were here for Father’s Day lunch. Staff very attentive, food was scrumptious with reasonable prices and beautiful manning river view. Definitely will be back if we are in Taree again:)

How disappointing was the experience today I chose chicken pie and salad $15 it was the cheapest ,,, everything else was so expensive. I asked could I swap salad for mash or chips and was told no that’s what the kitchen had put on the menu . The pie was like a stew in broth. I will not be returning to Sailo’s again they will lose business if they can’t accommodate customers and put a decent meal on their menu . Staff are great venue is great , whoever is running the kitchen needs to think what is it other than deep fried food . My friend paid $29 for lamb cutlets no gravy ?

shame google doesn’t let you make a 0 star review. would be perfect in this instance. we had a table of 6, not one of us enjoyed our food. extremely over priced for awful food. 2 orders were made wrong and took 25 minutes to come back out to the table. reconsider pricing when the food is sloppy and gross

Taree's BEST breakfast! Magnificent location overlooking the manning river. Extensive breakfast menu with good prices made this a no-brainer choice. A very tranquil setting sitting over the water enjoying breakfast and a delishious coffee. Eggs cooked perfectly and coffee nice and hot until the end. Would gladly come back and recommend you experience for yourself.

This is my go-to lunch spot when I visit Taree. There is a very extensive menu, service is friendly and efficient. There was a bit of a wait for meals because it was very busy - in itself a sign of popularity and quality. I had something different today, creamy chilli prawn and mussel linguine. It was fantastic! A very generous serve of seafood, chilli had a bit of a bite but wasn't overpowering, and was balanced nicely by the creaminess of the sauce. My companion and myself both felt bad about leaving a lot of the pasta, but it was a big meal. (We both made sure we picked out all the seafood!). We were given a table right by the window, so right over the water. My friend, on her first visit, said she felt like she was on a ship.

We are visitors to the area, came for lunch with family, food was amazing, so fresh! Service was great, highly recommend!

It’s a shame to be writing a negative review, because the food was outstanding. This is simply due to a booking made months in advance for a window seat to experience the fireworks, to arrive and be placed away from the windows and being told that the window seats have been booked and then watch members simply arrive , flash their cards and head towards those seats, and with the staff just saying, it’s bad luck, and it is what it is. 😡. Yes we are visitors to the area, but unfortunately tourism brings money to the town economy, and this wasn’t an pleasant visit. 😳

Great little club with lovely views of the Manning River. All the amenities including a really great restuarant. Had a really nice evening three.

Garlic prawns were not hot and the rice was gluggy. Two meals delivered had to ask about the 3rd meal as it was served 20 minutes later. Very disappointing.

The food was fantastic but large portions and my only complaint would be a hot meal to be served on a hot plate.

My wife and I visited the club 19/07/2022 and from the Check In to the Bar and then the Restaurant the staff were first class (although they overcharged us for the Oysters - but that's OK they were worth it) the whole experience was fabulous so thank you, well done. We shall return . . . Max & Sandy Whiteman, Port Macquarie

When you are in the lunchtime feeding frenzy at Taree Acquatic Club "Sailo's" it's hard to believe that flood water from the Manning River underneath inundated the dining room.. Thankfully it has been restored to all its glory. A great club menu in an excellent location with friendly staff. Make sure you book.

5 people at our table. One order was for a steak with chips and salad OR mash and vegetables, he opted for the mash and vegetables and was charged an extra $4.another order was the beef salad, it was drowning in a very overly done vinegar dressing and supposed to be wagyu beef ,tough as old boots.another order was the salt and pepper squid salad.again overdone with vinegar far too much lettuce and deep fried frozen squid.fishermans basket was another order , not enough dressing dry as a bone, chips were just as dry and the lousy piece of fish wasn't good either. For the prices charged here these meals were less than ordinary. Oh I nearly forgot an entree of 1 dozen oysters Killpatrick at $40. don't know about kill Patrick but the Birthday lady nearly choked on them. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. EDITED 2nd November 2022 AFTER 2 months we have a reply asking to put our concerns to them at the time of dining would like to say no thanks and we will NOT be dining there any time soon if ever again. If per chance we hear of new chef and better meals we may try it. Big MAYBE.

We haven't been here for years. We had a great dinner and the staff were fantastic. Would like to see the seafood platters back on the menu, they used to be so good.

👍👍 What a busy place! A testiment to its popularity and food quality. We arrived 7pm and were lucky to get a table for four. Had small fries and onion rings to share to start. Then kids had ribs and bolognaise... both were amazing value with ice cream afterwards. Us adults had chicken schnitzel with bo...
