I was surprised to find the rooms were a decent size if not large. The aircon was quiet and so was the fridge. A little bit dated bathroom but quite functional. Comfy bed wasn't knackered old feeling. Good price. The EV charger was icing on the cake. There is nothing more satisfying than starting out the day with 100% battery.

Great place. Spacious, good beds, and comfortable and priced effectively. Very deceiving property from the outside! Doesn’t look up to the standard the rooms actually are as the building itself is an older brick style building. Good area of town, walking distance to most things, but even if you prefer to drive, quite easy to get in and out of. My lone criticism would be that the water pressure isn’t fantastic. It’s adequate, and definitely does the job, but it’s not amazing. A small criticism for a very good place to stay. I will be back regularly when in town. Marianne is absolutely lovely to have a chat with!

Excellent location, right in town but no noticeable traffic noise. All staff very friendly and accommodating of all our requests. Good sized room. Large TV. Excellent pressure in shower and plenty of hot water.Really good bedside reading lights which is not always common in motel rooms. Would certainly stay again when in Taree.

Great place to stay. Marianne made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Comfortable, clean rooms. Plenty of food and recreation options in the immediate area. Will be staying here again when next travelling through.

What a gem. Lovely room. Comfortable bed and pillow. A bath tub not just a shower. All the little Luxuries and an EV charger for the car. Very central and close to restaurants, cafes and the Pub.

Great motor inn! They provided toaster, kettle , glasses and crockery which made life much easier. Great service and room was very clean. Our only slight negative was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but we’d definitely stay again.

Right from checking into our room our host Marianne was very helpful and took care to ensure we were at home. The room and the bed were clean and comfortable and gave us the best motel sleep we have experienced. Our breakfast of eggs bacon on toast arrived on time delicious and the Aussie biscuits she supplied were extremely moorish. Thanks and more for service and comfort beyond what we had hoped. When in Taree this will be the best motel experience and is highly recommend by us.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay. Room was clean & bed was very comfortable. Best for me was although 'no vacancy most night, I was not disturbed at all by other guests or traffic noise. Plus EV outlet on site for guests!! John C

I booked an overnight stay at In Town Motor In on the way back home from our holiday trip to Byron Bay, it was our first time stop over at Taree, my wife and I had has a wonderful stay there Host Marianne, her husband and sons are genuinely kind, texted me beforehand how to get keys, offered us if we need any help on arrival, and greeted us with happy smiles and wishes next morning on the Xmas day. The room is spacious and clean, the king size bed is comfortable, bathroom is nice and clean. Our room is immediately next to the main street, but was quiet all good. We wandered down to the Manning River, a short stroke across the street, and met with a couple of grandfather and grandson, they were cleaning the fish they had caught that afternoon. They caught 7 that day, and told us the young man has caught 17 the other day. We would love to come back for future trips.

Marianne was ever so welcoming and friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the showers were hot. Just what we needed after a breakdown and unexpected overnight stay.

This is a great little motel. We were driving between Queensland and Victoria and needed a place to stay . This place was perfect . The bed was comfy . It had a two person table and chairs so we could eat our dinner and it had two lounge chairs for watching tv or reading. Everything was clean and fresh. Complimentary tea and coffee , bar fridge , microwave were all a bonus . Fantastic customer service before and during our stay . Highly recommend this spot .

The room was very clean and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of space to move around and a big screen T.V in a good position. Great location, just a short to restaurants and shops. Would stay again.

The place was very clean and comfortable, also spacious. My room had a huge tv, a nice comfortable lounge that I could relax and watch my Netflix after the long drive. The location was great as we could go for a stroll down the river bank. The owner was lovely and very helpful. I will return when I travel from Queensland again 😃

Stayed here with our family. Marianne was very helpful in arranging a family and a double room for us. The rooms were spotlessly clean and a good size. The motel is close to clubs, hotels, and a short stroll to the main shopping area. Will definitely stay here again.

The loveliest rooms in Taree waking distance to cafes and shops. Desk space is ample if you need to do some work. A table and chairs aswel AND a couple of nice lounge type chairs. I especially like the bathroom with plenty of space for toiletries. Very clean and helpful, friendly service. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Very clean and tidy rooms. Great location- walking distance to Coles. Very well equipped room facilities- microwave etc. And best of all has a couple of onsite EV chargers. Very helpful and friendly host- thanks Marianne!

What a treat to stay at the In Town Motor In Taree. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet all the things that make for a great stay. An amazingly comfortable bed as well. The staff were so helpful with suggestions for dinner and making our stay very pleasant.

Made a last minute booking and needed to arrange after hours check-in which was super easy and secure. Very convenient location if catching the overnight coach from Sydney. Fantastic communication and the room was clean and tidy, perfect temperature coming in from a chilli evening. Thank you Marianne!

This motel is great 👍 The rooms are clean and well appointed with everything you need. The beds are softer than I like, but I have no complaints about this please. The reception lady was lovely and the room was perfect for our stay for 1 night. The road noise is a bit loud, but my ear plugs did the job. Would recommend.

We stayed in this motel for 3 nights . We had a wonderful stay and motel staff was very helpful and swift in their response to our needs. In Town motel is located in the heart of Taree town and a few minutes walk to all the amenities such as Taree shopping mall, good restaurants, cinemas, etc. I had a break down of my vehicle during my stay and staff was really supportive and understanding. They went out of the way to help me and I am much grateful for the support provided. I highly recommend this to any guests and you will be well taken care by the lovely , supportive staff in the motel.

I pulled up on the bike in a down pour. The room was given immediately with no fuss. The woman behind desk was polite and helpful. Breakfast was awesome but wrong juice delivers. But the breakfast was tasty and good amount. I’ll stay again if travelling through.

Fantastic service and lovely management. They really go the extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable. My room was neat and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Room just needed a new kettle (I'm just a bit precious with this). Room was a little noisy at times due to traffic but nothing too bothersome. All in all a good stay!

Large, clean, quiet room Well positioned motel, in walking distance to a variety of lovely eateries. We had a large upstairs executive room. No traffic noise & comfortable bed. Staff were great. Why would we want stay anywhere else??

Great location in town and near the river. Friendly and helpful staff. Big room with all the modern things a traveller needs - smart tv, wifi, plenty of power points to charge devices. And two free EV chargers. So while we enjoyed Taree our car quietly charged. Definitely be going back.

My wife and I travelled from WA for 2-night stay prior to a family reunion. After searching google reviews, we were delighted that we'd chosen the right place to stay. The location was handy, and the executive room was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable and good value for money. Above all, the proprietors Marianne and Alex were very helpful, even offering us a lift to the train station when our taxi failed to turn up on time. Thank you once again, we recommend In Town Motor Inn for old fashioned service and comfort.

Friendly lady at reception was kind enough to let us check in super early and also gave us a room upgrade. Room was comfortable and clean. Across the road from excellent club (sailing club) for dinner. Excellent experience. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful and convenient location, great help from the staff with comfortable and clean rooms. Perfect place to stop on road trips and go for a walk along the river and parks with walking distance to shops. I will definitely be staying there next time I'm near Taree

Clean and spacious room. Very friendly and accommodating service. Only down side was needing to use the bathroom sink for the kettle, which took some manoevering to fill up- but still do-able.
