Reasonably close to the city centre (about a 20mins walk along the river), with very nice rooms that were clean. The bathroom had all the essentials but unfortunately the shower head was a bit broken and had a bad flow rate. The Wifi was terrible. (Please note that the photos were taken after the stay and do not reflect the cleanliness we got it in. E.g unmade beds)

We had some problems with our car and stuck in Taree. The owner was very helpful despite us going there late and without a reservation. They offered us drinks and asked if we’d eaten and gave us some snacks. The room was clean and well maintained. It has everything we needed. There was a light above each bed which was handy when someone else was sleeping. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Highly recommended!

I have to drive between Canberra and Brisbane quite frequently. This motel is located right in the middle. In fact it is mp y only choice on Pacific Motorway. Extremely clean rooms. Very friendly and professional staff. Convenient yet quiet location, many restaurants, supermarkets and petrol stations nearby. Always had a sound sleep and feel revived for the next day’s drive.

Not sure if the long hair near my pillow was supposed to be there when I laid in bed, cause I'm bald. Again, the room had this old funny smell when I got in, had to spray perfume

Very comfortable and accomodating. Three key things. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were substantial. Very friendly staff, dog friendly and the cleaning staff super accomodating

Yes it's basic but overall brilliant! Excellent customer service, clean room, comfy beds, luxurious towels, shower with plenty of hot water, free parking, it's quite the delight! Ideal if passing through as a single or couple, close to the main shopping area but far enough away to not get the noise. I'd happily stay here again and recommend this Motor Inn to others.

Highly recommend staying here. Very impressed of the rooms. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Service from the owners was warming & go out of the way to make sure your happy with everything. Stayed one night on the way down to Wollongong and booked in again on the way back. 🙂

We stayed here for one night on our way home. When I phoned to book (based on the great reviews of others), the lady was friendly and helpful. A welcoming place to drive into, little tables/chairs/plant outside each room, allocated car space. Rooms - spacious enough with comfy bed/pillows, cotton sheets, fluffy towels, good shower. Best towels, sheets/pillows anywhere on the road. Lovely people. On checkout, the friendly man acknowledged our praise and said ' we are always looking to improve' - can't get much better than that. We'd happily stay there again.

I felt as if I was in the comfort of my home. I love this hotel and I will highly recommend it to anyone who travels to Taree. The owners are amazing 👏

I was very impressed and happy with my stays ( returned guest 😁) Very clean and modern rooms and comfy bed Friendliness Accommodating hosts Value for money .. I usually would avoid staying at motels due to the substandard of cleanliness and uncomfortable bed. However I would not hesitate to stay at Taree Highway Motor Inn anytime. It was great experience, would definitely return and highly recommended. They have raised the bar high for motels standard in Australia.

This is a wonderful little motel with an emphasis on cleanliness and comfort. The bed was super comfortable with excellent linens. Not a speck of dust or a smudge anywhere. So neat and tidy. Great place stay, stopped here for the night on the way home to Sydney. Easy booking on Lastminute.com.au / Expedia. Room was exceptionally clean and I welcomed the hygienic smell when I opened the door. Can’t fault this place at all even if I tried. You won’t find many places offering this level of cleanliness for the money. Air-con was perfect and worked so quickly to cool the room. TV was lLED and could play my USB movies no problem which led to us having a take away pizza and staying in to watch a movie. Friendly family run business offering great value for money and smiles. I will return when the need arises.

Our car broke down late at night travelling from gold coast to sydney and we got towed back to taree. Travelling by myself with a child it was paramount we find safe accommodation. 1 phone call and staff had us booked into a room, it was clean , comfortable and most of all we felt safe and secure. Will definitely stay here again when travelling.

The room was old and outdated. Bathroom was very pokey, glad I'm not a big person!! Noisy!! Make sure you're not next to the laundry. And as for the cleaning, it smelt like they drowned the room in dettol. Even the lady next door complained!! Had to leave the door open as it was overpowering. Won't be back.

We arrived about 4pm to find they had cancelled our booking. They said they tried ringing. We later realised they rang when we were out of range and didn’t leave a message. Then they tried to charge our credit card the full room rate before we got there. Lucky that didn’t work for some reason. The room was average. Aircon below standard. Needed a good scrub.

The standard motel room punctuated with excellent service, very clean and well maintained, and most importantly comfortable. I travel frequently for work and this is the first review I’ve been compelled to leave in a long time. Do yourself a favour if looking for great accommodation in the region.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the hotel very friendly customer service very helpful, rooms are very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are a bit small but still good. They have Netflix and normal channels. Breakfast is very tasty and lots to choose from.

Room is generally clean and tidy. Air conditioning is warm in winter. shower facilities are on point. Room will be cleaned daily. Overall really good for the price you paid.

We had a short stay here but the friendly service and cleanliness has been A+. Nice and quiet to get a good night sleep for long travellers. Well maintained motel.

Walking distance to restaurants and Cafe, needed to park a trailer and had heaps of room. Rooms clean and tidy and yes shower was amazing!! Would stay again!

A very nice smallish modern room and bathroom , in an older looking motel and reasonably priced , very quiet , very comfortable Q bed , big tv , air con , nice crockery etc , toaster , electric kettle , fridge , but no microwave . Nice young guy Peter in reception who recommended a place to eat and I must say delicious chinese restaurant “JinHong “ just 500 m down the road . Well worth stopping off at Taree for an overnight stay and meal 👏👏👏👏
