A nice place but with some issues. Good things: nice and big rooms with heating and air conditioning. many animals which are a plus for children. From the other side there are many bad things: no air dryer, no face towels but only 1 big towel for the shower. All bath sinks are clogged! The food is nothing special and what they bring you is not always what you ordered. I hope they will improve in the future.

I and my fiancee came to the Ecolodge for 4 nights. We enjoyed a lovely stay, the location was beautiful and the service impeccable! Very warm welcome, good selection of drinks, the pool (opened day and night) was particularly relaxing. The price was worth it. The activities proposed seemed fun and the money went directly to the locals involved - we took part in the cooking lesson; the teacher was very nice and helpful (however, we couldn't choose the dishes to cook, which was a bit of a letdown). This would be a 5 stars review, if not for a little accident: the last night a group of 20 people decided to have a big party until 3/4 in the morning... They were loud, rude to staff and didn't care when we asked to at least lower their voices/music. It was a letdown to see the direction not to take action about this... We and other people had to wake up early and the director knew this. That being said, a big thank you to the service staff - especially to Hassan and the breakfast waiter! Your kindness made this stay very worthy!

Nice green garden atmosphere. The Berber tents are simple bur cheap. Dinner was fine, breakfast in Morroccan style.

I was positively impressed by the great hospitality of Ecolodge la Palmeraie’s stuff. Everyone was happily willing to help, especially Zawad, who was taking care of everything for us. I cannot say much but strongly recommend the place for a visit. I will definitely go back when I visit Ouazarzate again.

The ecolodge La Palmeraie is just a perfect place to me. After the marrakechian hussle it's a beautiful place to relax in the nature, with an amazing(!) garden, delicious dinner and a responsible ecological infrastructure. You can find a great swimming pool, charger for e-cars, lots of possibilities to relax, a rich vegetable garden and animals. The staff could be a bit more anticipating, but the service is fine. An overall recommendation!

It was really nice staying for a week, and being able to enjoy the peacocks ,donkeys, horse sheep and goats... a super place to go with kids. I also loved the helpful friendly owner and his family. The crew was super! Would have loved to have more of the self made bread, with simple maroccian salad...I don't need more. They even organized a private beautiful dessert tour for our and gave our the tip to visit Flint.

Over promised and under delivered. I wanted to like this place more but the absent management compromised the experience. I had a booking through air bnb and tried to get in touch to arrange transport from the bus station prior to arrival but received no response. Despite this, we decided to stay another night because there are some really great features here too. The swimming pool is wonderful and some of the staff charming. To stay an extra night, I organized directly with the reception staff to save them the web booking fees. This backfired when later that day I wanted to pay and they now changed the agreed price to even more than booking online. It's hard to understand this kind of treatment. We're ended up only giving them what we're had agreed upon and left with a bad taste. I never got to voice any of these concerns to the manager as he was always 'coming very soon'. I guess others have had better experiences. It could be worth taking a chance I suppose.

Little heaven on earth, everything is clean, rooms, pool... They serve really good food, very delicious and natural. They have farm animals which is very nice for kids. They normally do lot of activities, but sadly i visited here in the times of covid so there is none of that right now ... I highly recommend this place.

Our time here in our camper van was lovely! The manager Amid was extremely personable and helpful, the food both mornings and evenings was excellent and the whole space just feels a bit like a paradise. Beautiful, if chilly pool, hammocks, lounging areas, peacocks... It was just really lovely. Would certainly stay there again.

I don't understand that this place doesn't have higher rating. It is absolutely gorgeous. Like an oasis. Good prices too and delicious breakfast. The pool is beautiful and the flowers and palmtrees and birds. Just a small paradise! I stayed in one of the tents with separate toilets. Everything very clean with soap and toilet paper. Paid only 16 Eur incl breakfast. Incredible.

The staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful. Location awesome & food delicious. However, the owner was not particularly welcoming upon our arrival. Additionally, I had an unreasonnable amount of 'bites'. It was subsequently mentionned to me that there are "namous" that are so small they make it through the window screens but apparently they leave no bites!!! My skin and body respectfully disagree, so did my dermatologist that I saw only AFTER my return from holidays. In fairness to the owner, I didn't bring up the subject but only because of how we were greeted on our arrival and honestly I just can't be bothered to complain when on holidays. I did bring it up after I consulted my dermatologist just so that the owners are aware and should probably install a mosquito net and steam clean all the bedding.

First off, there is nothing "bad" about this place at all! It is a good location but I've knocked a couple of stars off for the following reasons: 1. I don't think it represented value for money (there are other places that are significantly cheaper than this) and 2. It *feels* like a tourist destination - We stopped off here as part of a road trip and compared to the other places, it just didn't feel as authentic as other locations, likely due to the French management. Rooms were great, however the dinner (which was 130dh per person) was portioned more towards a visiting tourist than as Moroccan clientele and actually spending 500dh for one night (Inc dinner) actually ended up being significantly more expensive than other places we visited. It could also be the location of course but if you're flexible, I would have a look elsewhere as well at other options. Otherwise, you will still have a good experience here :)
