Discovered this hidden local treasure that offers authentic Southern Indian cuisine. Opted for the usual masala prawn, squid, and chicken, which were bursting with rich flavors. If you're a fan of spicy food, this place strikes a great balance, offering slightly more heat than the norm. The only downside was that they used breast meat for the chicken instead of my preferred drumstick portion. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the black pepper lamb, as the spiciness was slightly stronger, adding to its flavorful profile. While the fish curry was just average, the fried lady fingers stood out and made for a perfect appetizer. The masala tea was a standout, boasting a delightful aroma from the added spices. They also offer unlimited side dishes like cabbage, tofu, and mashed potatoes upon request. The clean environment and attentive service added to the overall experience. With an average cost of $22 per person, it's definitely worth a visit!

I am familiar with this franchise having visited their original branch in Gelugor. As far as Kulim is concerned, this is possibly the best Banana Leaf lunch in the area. I especially appreciate food being served hot, with any additional items ordered prepared fresh in the kitchen and brought to your table. Rice and main veggies can be added to your leaf FOC. Cleanliness is good. Service is excellent. Will want to try the fried items next time. Recommended!

Unfortunately my family and I had a bad experience. Hospitality was not good. The place is overcrowded, congested and the seating options are totally out. The mutton varuval and prawn dish had the same masala and the fried fish was rubbery, looked like it was refried. I wouldn't go there again and I don't think I would recommend anyone, especially if you are new there. I noticed double standards especially if you are a new comer.

Had a meal here with my wife and toddler son two days ago. We ordered the banana leaf set, fried chicken sambal and roti prata with curry chicken. The chutney and the okra curry turned out to be so flavorful and the fried chicken sambal was extremely good. Not too spicy until it loses its flavor. The curry chicken and roti prata were good too. Service was fast and good. Would come back again.

👍👍 I came alone on my bike but I already feel welcomed even before I step into the restaurant. The Manager Mr Azwan is working quite hard to make me feel comfortable most of the time. I ordered Fish n Chips and the portion is satisfying. Definitely will come back again with my family
