Staff is very friendly and English speaking. Rooms are clean and quiet with not many people staying. Wifi is excellent with hot water and place for us to hang our laundry too. There is even a small kitchen if you wish to do cooking. This hotel is close to the louage station if you wish to visit the nearby towns like Ksar Ouled Soltane, Douriet, Hadada, etc. You will need to take a taxi from the louage station to the hotel if you are coming from Medenine. Just note that it doesn't say Auberge Alfredaous outside but there is an LED sign that says Hotel Ferdaous. There is a Hotel sign with a small door and reception. One thing you can look out for is a Free Water dispenser right outside the hotel. Highly recommended and shoutout once again to our host who gave a very warm welcome and suggested good places to eat and have coffee.

I really liked my stay here. Cheap and cheerful! 20TDN for a dorm bed, clean sheets, clean place, hot shower, really helpful friendly owners who speak English and can let you know all you need to know to explore the area. Kitchen you can use and good communal spaces. The surrounding sites and villages are accessible by louage (public transport) so can explore really cheaply. Hitch hiking in Tunisia is easy so always an option too, especially when returning back to Tatouine from the sites/villages. Amazing bakery across the road that even does croissants (and so many different cakes), and the market is less than a minute’s walk away. Bus station a few mins walk away, local louages set off from just around the corner, and long distance louage station is about 30 min walk (or short taxi ride) away. شكرًا Auberge Alferdaous!

Excellent stay! The host is super friendly, speaks good English, and provided advice on how to visit the nearby places, and restaurant options in town. The wifi was also surprisingly good. Makes for a great base. Would stay here again ☺️

Very central location, close to everything. very helpful owner. The breakfast is basic but very tasty (bread, butter, tea). The room I had was spacious and I had a private bathroom. Fair quality for this price. You can park the car in front of the hotel. Even though it is mentioned in your reservation that you have aircon, it is not included in the price and you have to pay for it an extra of 10 dinar if you want to use it.

Great place to stay at everything needed is definitely within walking distance, Ksar Ouled Soltane and Douiret are just a van ride away....dont taxi to save money. Hotel has shower and bed with refrigerated beverages. The host was wonderful and kind. Cost was extremely affordable per night.

Just come! Here is super clean, good price, good location, hot water shower and with a kitchen for guest! The owner Abdu is a traveller so he understands the mindset of backpacker or solo traveller. Abdu gave me many advices for what to eat and where to buy xxx or how to get vvv. He even helps me to rent a good car to Ksar Ghilane. He is my super hero in Tataourine. I felt at home here.

I spent two nights there. The place was almost empty: spent the first night literally by myself in the hostel. The hosts were welcoming and helpful with directions to food places and main tourist attractions in Tataouine. I liked the decor and the traditional feel of the common area. The place has also a gym.

The hotel location is amazing in the center of the city you can find everything you need nearby . Service quite good . The rooms are clean and nice. I highly recomand 🥇

If you are a basic backpacker looking to come check out the nearby sites, this is the place. Owner is really friendly and a great host. Shared bathroom and basic twin size bed but that’s what you are paying for. Continental bread and coffee breakfast, but there is a friendly meat shop downstairs for dinner. Stayed 2 nights, louage stations to nearby sites are around the corner. Long distance louage station is about a 3 dinar taxi away.

I absolutely enjoyed my 3 nights stay here! 1.There’s dormitory room which costs only 5eur per night! 2.Abdu, Masoud, Ebtiha, Najia are really friendly. They even offered me a dinner! 3. Even tho I arrived super late at 4am, they let me in.

Calm hostel in the center of tataouine, with extremely friendly personel, clean rooms and sanitary facilities. Kitchen can be used to cook and eat on the terrace.

Owner is super welcoming. He also provides fresh drinking water (and bread for the poor). Rooms are basic but good and cheap. It is kept very clean. For 10 dinar you get aircon in the room.
