Pillows were really soft almost like you’re not having any pillows, room was really small, air conditioning was not adjustable so you cannot cool down/ warm up the room as you wish, you could hear your neighbours (from talking, sliding their bathroom door to their footsteps), staff was ignorant and didn’t talk much, lift was broken which was not very handy when you have a suitcase and no staff was to be found. Definitely does not worth the €150 i paid for!!!

Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel. The parking comes with additional €15 per day and the breakfast is €20 per day/per person. It would be worth it if everything else was spot on. But it wasn't, the person at the reception was playing on his phone while I was trying to tell him to turn off the Aircon on our room, for which the remote control wasn't working. The curtin was ripped and the sun would come in first thing in the morning. The towels were small size and for a couple you might end up sharing or using the small ones next day for your shower.

My husband and I had an amazing stay! Staff were very friendly, the hotel itself was a cool experience, and it was close enough to the train station that it was easy enough to get around. If I'm ever back in Brussels I would absolutely stay here again!

Never go to this hotel!! The service is horrible!! The lady is much ruder than the man that works at night. To me, both of them, are a fake nice, whenever they are nice, so to speak..... Very high prices for nasty microwave pizza and such, and it seems that they are doing you a favour when they serve you! Rooms are weird, nice but I found dirty pillows and sheets, no washcloth for the shower, no mini- fridge or microwave, no phone either! The window doesn't close all the way, and it was 54 degrees Fahrenheit, shower door was only half, and everything got fogged up and humid wet after the shower. Very noisy when trying to rest, and housekeeping opened my door when I was still sleeping. When asking questions, the so called lady at the front desk, was annoyed and dismissive. A simple Black coffee was €3:50! Microwave pizza €12.50 and other items expensive as well. The gym didn't have hand sanitizer or water to drink. I didn't use it but I went to check. A bottle of water was €3.50. Water should have been free since I'm a paying guest. Breakfast was €20!! That's even more crazy.... Never ate it, of course!! Anyway, never again I'll go here or Brussels... People in general are rude...I got stuck there because of my flight, and the location is not bad but a little far from the airport and still expensive. Almost €75 a night, and the light bulb was broken when I got to the room, #012, And the lady was dismissive again when I told her, the glass was broken and loose. I took it off myself and threw it away, because I didn't want to get hurt, if the whole thing fell off the lamp!! Thank God I'm back home?!😃🏠

Room My room was so tiny. Hardly had enough space for my luggage and movement. There’s an AC in the room which works whenever it felt like. Super thin walls! Bathroom Also too small. Gets flooded when you take a shower. I thought the towels were very old. You could see they’re already wearing out. Service I thought this could be improved. I ordered food to be brought to my room. My food was uncovered. The person who brought it literally walked to my room with the dish on a tray. Requested for an iron and it was required of my to come collect it at the reception. No big deal coming down to collect what you’ve requested but it’s the first time I experienced that in a hotel. Each room comes with a free bottle of water. Transport It’s about 10 minutes walk from the station Diegem. There’s also an airport shuttle that moves between the airport and the hotel. *** I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve paid close to 1K and had better experiences in other 3 star hotels.

Hotel looks nice, with a friendly staff. The rooms however are small, beds to short, bed sheets WAY to short. Airco is not cooling in winter (24 degrees in the room) and it's very noisy. Dinner option was nice, typical bar food, not the best quality. With breakfast they seem to be short staffed, it takes a long time to fill up food items which are depleted. All in all, looks better than it is.

Rooms are unfortunately in a very bad physical shape. AC out of order, plastic heater put into room (was way toooo warm then), public areas in bad shape (lots of scratches, look at the wall furnishing of the elevator), unresponsive TV remote, only cold breakfast, very noisy during night as room doors close loudly - Service though was fantastic

Perhaps worth considering for low-cost options, but even in this segment there are better options nearby. Rooms very small (borderline unsafe with 1-2 suitcases present) not well maintained, uncomfortable sheets and pillows. Basic breakfast.

Good solution for airport and short stay. Location is very good: just 6 minutes by car from airport. Room is very small, low quality bed and pillows so fine just for 1 night. Common areas very pleasant. There's billiard table, small restaurant with limited offer to avoid dinner out and gym. Breakfast is standard international but nice, equipped with everything. Atmosphere is modern and Industrial style, kind staff. Ratio quality-Price: middle- hight

Friendly staff, room was not so good not clean and very run down( we changed it twice). Location is fine close to station bus and train for the city 40 mins. Overall I would not stay again I’m afraid

TV did not work during the whole stay Toilet had not been flushed when I entered the room for the first time No restaurant at the hotel: No restaurant but just a limited menu at the bar serving e.g. very expensive frozen pizza A pity because the bar and restaurant areas are nice (and could definitely compensate for the narrowness of the bedrooms and lack of overall comfort in these bedrooms). I will do my best to avoid staying at the hotel in the future. As long as there is no restaurant, there is no point.

Conveniently closed to the airport and perfect for 1-2 night stay. Rooms are clean with big shower and the decoration in the rooms and in the building is very nice. Full continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Excellent service. They are very helpful and open 24/7 and it is possible to order some food at any hour.

The hotel was great. I came by with my motorcycle and they were happy to accommodate me by helping me put my bike safe. Marjorie at the front was great! very helpful and gave me good places to visit. The guy at the front was friendly (don't remember his name) helped me with my phone and went beyond my expectations. The room itself (I got upgraded to a double bed) was decent; air con, tv - limited to a few channels btw, mostly news. This hotel also has a gym and a few areas to relax. The location is a bit of a drawback as there are only a few transport links (close to the airport though). Very decent hotel for the price and the breakfast was miles better than my next hotel! If you're traveling with a motorcycle this is a good place!!

Because we could not find any empty hotels, we stayed this hotel 14 days. First day, I found many hair strands on my bed. Noticed some days they do not change the towels and just fold and left used towels. Supposed that just a mistake of maids, but I realized that on purpose. Receptionist told me that they do not leave full and clean towel sets in rooms because of “Environmental Concerns” I offered half price for the same Environmetal reasons, just refused by slyly grinning. If you do not have to, find another hotel or try airbnb

Very cozy and modern hotel with nice and comfy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff and nice areas to chill out. Very easy to reach the airport. Definitely coming back again when I am back in Brussels.

I'm giving the room 3 star because it was small, bathroom was full size and nice. First time in Europe so that might be the norm for the rooms. Housekeeping did a very nice job each day, and we had a lot of stuff to work around lol. Loved loved loved the staff and the breakfast-OMG!! The breakfast was amazing compared to US hotel "breakfasts" lol. They kept everything fresh and full. We were there for the Tomorrowland festival and seeing the friendly faces back at the hotel at night actually made me feel instantly relaxed! And the man working at night was very personable (they all were really). But, I had hurt my knee the first night and he was very quick to get me a bag of ice for it! ♥️ Never got his or anyones names but they were all very hard workers and seemed genuinely concerned for everyone's happiness. Hope to go back again next year!! While we were there they served fresh individual pizzas 24hrs, as well, the bar stayed open 😉

The room was really good for what I'd paid. I struggled to find the hotel as I was on foot and relying on Google Maps. I arrived about midnight from off the train and got checked in quickly. The shower was nice and the bed was the most comfortable I've experienced maybe ever. I got a great night's sleep which was the purpose of my stay!

The staff was absolutely excellent, they were a joy to be around during the stay. Unfortunately, the room didn't match that. There were some serious hygiene problems, including extreme amounts of dust, a broken faucet in the bathroom, dirty dishes and some disgusting residue in the toilet. The walls of the room were paper thin and you could hear absolutely everything the neighbors were doing. There was also an extremely loud water pump running during the whole night each time anyone in the hotel flushed the toilet. The prices of the food were also quite unreasonable, although the drinks were okay.

20 euros breakfast per person and 15 euros parking per night would be good if the rest were good but wasn't. Ripped curtains, the air con was constantly on and remote wasn't working. I would suggest to park outside there is no restrictions. I hate all these "hidden" costs. We had breakfast at a lovely place in town for 12 euros per person

Whenever I am travelling and in the neighbourhood of a PentaHotel I try to book there because of the good restaurant. They normally have the same high quality menu in each hotel. Unfortunately this hotel in the chain does not have a decent restaurant. After Covid they decided to change the kitchen in this location. If I had known I would have paid 20-30 euros less and would have booked one of the 6 hotels in the same block. Rooms are still good, but without the quality food too pricy.

The person working at the reception is very rude and says he doesn't know anything. I don't understand why they employ these people in such a beautiful hotel. bad prestige

Clean. Not really my cup of tea but 5 stars for cleanliness. No shuttle after 9 am or something like that and resumes again at 6 I believe?

The ambience and food were great. Really friendly staff. The room was relatively clean but the sheets smelled a bit like bleach and the housekeeping staff always left the air conditioning on, so when we got back to the room at the end of the day it was freezing cold.

Staff was super nice and responsive. Check in process was very quick. Rooms were clean. Ambiance of hotel is more for younger people than the families.

This room for this price was an absolute joke. Water damage/possibly mould at the ceiling. Coat rack, but no coat hangers. The bathroom sink tap is completely loose. The toilet is cracked and dirty. Not to mention its brush. The soap dispenser has fallen off the wall. The shower head doesn’t fit in its holder and keeps falling out. The carpet is dirty. The whole 3rd floor stinks like sewage. And since this is not my first stay, for the past two years the restaurant menu is very limited. The prices have only gone up though. I’m missing scrambled eggs for breakfast. And on top of all, the staff doesn’t even ask about my stay. Must be that they either don’t care or maybe worse, they have given up. This was my last stay at Penta (unless things say your place go under serious change)

This was my first international trip. I was lucky to have been booked here. The staff is kind and endlessly patient with my questions. I have Celiac disease and they made sure to understand and then did their best to accommodate. I haven't been cross contaminated. My room was clean and the breakfast is better than any I have seen in the US.

I stayed there for 1 night. It was a nice experience for me, I was able to sleep comfortably. I had an early morning flight, and they had morning shuttle service, that made my stay comfortable.

Nice hotel near Brussels airport. Decoration is quite modern but installations seem old. Likewise, rooms are not lacking any basic necessities and are clean, but are not roomy at all. Breakfast buffet is quite good and varied; restaurant for dinner not high quality though. Fitness installations are welcome but do not have a lot of machines. Biggest drawback is that while it's located near the airport there are no ammenities/bars/shops nearby at all. Overall, OK stay for a business trip.

Room modern and comfortable just a bit small, wall could use some soundproofing. Staff friendly, breakfast nice.. dinner selection was on other hand only pizza or pasta so I end up eating in a Hotel next door. All in all it looks like nice hotel just did not had enough time to see everything. Maybe next time till then 3 stars.

It is hotel I tend to visit often. Easy access from the highway, close to the airport and also a shuttle to take you from and to the airport. Good breakfast and nice food for dinner. Rooms a bit small. Do not take the rooms with the connecting doors. No sound absorption.

Lovely decor at the reception/bar area. There's a pool table and relaxing atmosphere. Room 15 is nice, clean and functional. Stars were lost due to not having blackout curtains or soundproofing (you can hear cars in the car park and your fellow guests in the adjacent rooms). Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and efficient. If you're a light sleeper, I don't recommend this place. But if you can sleep through anything, you'll like it here.

Good shower and good breakfast. Room was a bit like a cell - and I had busses outside my window emitting lovely Diesel idle racket at all hours. Room 101 not recommended. Should have guessed when hearing the room number. Staff was great though.

Loved our stay here! What a fun atmosphere! I went with my young daughter and we both loved it! One of the more unique themed hotels I've stayed in. Also very clean, and a great breakfast for only a few dollars. Conveniently located to the airport -- make sure to check out the free airport shuttle, but an uber will also run you less than $20.

This was such a fun change of pace from a normal hotel. The decor and overall theme was quite enjoyable and the gym was super cute. Bed and linens were comfy. Pillows were flat. Close to several diplomatic entities before heading into Brussels.

  • 4/5 Z N. 1 year ago on Google
Good enough, 10m walk from train station but nothing else around so closest thing would be a 20m journey to the centre of Brussels. Rooms are compact and good enough for a night sleep, wouldn’t recommend if it was to stay for more than one night. Guy at reception was really kind and responsive! Other than the location and entrance under construction not bad for a reasonable price.

  • 5/5 Urban A. 1 year ago on Google
Close to Diegem train station so it is convenient to go to the airport or the city at normal hours. Rooms are compact but not a problem (I'm almost 2m, I had room for everything). Rooms didn't miss anything and they were clean. Whoever complained about lack of phone or window not closing had never closed a window before or saw a rotary phone 🤷. The atmosphere is nice with elements of vintage/industrial style. Common areas have a bar, restaurant and a pool table. On my previous stay they even had a PS console to play on. Staff is nice. Don't know how the food is now, after COVID, but before it was nice. I would stay here for the third time.

We arrived by coach and a staff member came onboard to welcome us. That’s a good start we all agreed. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. I am disabled and our tour company assured me that all our stops were aware that I required a disabled friendly room which would accommodate my (small) scooter. We went to our room on the first floor via a small lift to find the turn into the room was very difficult and the room was so small that my scooter barely fitted between the door and the bed, blocking off the bathroom. We didn’t get as far as trying to close the door as we realised that the room hadn’t been cleaned or beds changed from the previous occupants. We went straight downstairs to sort it out. We were informed that all the rooms were the same and that they didn’t have any disabled friendly rooms. We were about to consider changing hotels when we were offered another room, this time on the ground floor. Fortunately this room was a decent size although freezing cold. We turned up the heating and made our way to the restaurant. The whole decor was very dark and night clubish. Quite Gothish and depressing. The menu was very limited and service extremely slow. Once back to our room and in bed we became aware of the noise from the airport and the other rooms around us. We could hear someone snoring in the next room, voices from another and various bathroom noises including the consistent banging of the sliding bathroom doors. When we did get off to sleep I was awoken by someone trying to put their key card into our room slot. Breakfast was a limited continental breakfast and the very tiny rolls (compared to our previous German hotel) were solid and needed a saw to cut them. I tried to take one bite but despite my excellent teeth, gave up and fetched a croissant instead. Once back on the coach we heard of similar experiences including dirty sheets, shower drains blocked with hair, leaking hand basins and rubbish bins unemptied. Just about everyone complained about the size of the rooms with nowhere to put their cases. All in all, not a hotel to be recommended and not a good end to our wonderful holiday.

Friendly and welcoming motel. Nice bar and pool table. Menu could be more enhanced but overall a nice stay.

Messy rooms with very small space - please do not leave other person's hair when preparing for next guest.. please check under the bed when cleaning, please make sure to clean the bathroom, etc.. Got sick after eating one of your salame pizza. Worst hotel experience in my life but staff service was okay. Hope I will never be back to your premises.

I had a nice experience here, I saw the comments about rooms not being clean and small. My room was perfectly clean, but I can understand the small room part. For more than one or a couple nights I would not recommend, but perfect when you're traveling or just need a bed to sleep. Beds are nice and comfy too, no issues there. Customer service was 10/10, had a great conversation with the receptionist at the bar (which is open 24/7 and even offers eating option in the middle of the night. Did not used it, but very good the option is there). Many thanks to Laurant (I hope I wrote his name right)!!

Staff were helpful but was given a twin bed instead of a double. This has happened a lot in Belgium though so I wonder if it's common. Still have to beat common for 5stars

We stayed here on Monday Sept 5/22. Had great banter with warm and welcoming lady who checked us in. She was very helpful with directions & what to do in Brussels. Room was clean & nicely furnished. Overall great value for your money.
