Amazing gourmet vegan cuisine. It’s so rare to find a restaurant that can pack so many flavors into a dish without it being unhealthy like so many other vegan restaurants are. We will definitely be back (as it’s walking distance from our house) ❤️

Wow! Professional and very kind staff. Really helpful at all times. Even they had to walk quite a bit to cross (the very silent) road to come to the oasis kinda feeling terras. We enjoined the chef’s 5 course menu and simply loved it! Vegan dinner to the max, without missing out on animal products at all. We enjoyed refill after refill from the sustainable Dopper bottle. Simple perfect and we will be back :)

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Mama Gaia. Every dish was a masterpiece; beautifully presented, with diverse flavors and creative combinations. We chose the 5 course menu, but combined with the amuse-bouche, bread, and an additional sweet course before the main dessert, this felt like much more than just 5 courses and was super satisfying. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, regardless of whether or not you eat plant based at home, and consider it to be one of the best in the Netherlands (especially for plant-based food). The cherry-on-top was the lovely staff, who were attentive, knowledgeable, and simply a joy to talk to. Everyone at Mama Gaia clearly loves what they do, which made the experience truly excellent. We left feeling inspired, hopeful, and very satisfied. Cant wait to come back!

Went there for dinner on a weekday 8 o‘clock. The staff is very nice and attentive, always there to help and explain every course. We had the 5 course dinner menu - it was amazing! As one of us is wheat-intolerant they prepared a gluten-free variation of every course, which was truly perfect. They also have a selection of non-alcoholic wines and beers - a game changer! We’ll definitely be back!

I'm not a vegan, but this was delicious! We took a 4 course dinner. Every course has two small dishes to be used for shared dining. Flavours of the dishes was perfectly balanced. Service at the table was also great, so really recommend this place.

Future of food! Really loved the vegan shared dishes. It tasted absolutely amazing. When veggies are your main subject in a dish, you get a completely different food experience and that was really worth it. Also loved the fact that they try to inspire you to take better care of our world. I'm definitely recommending this fancy future proof restaurant!

We had a great experience and food. We heard this was the best vegan place in the NL so we decided to check it out. We went for the 5 tempos menu and it did not disappoint. Every dish contains a explosion of flavor, we were surprised at the variety of cooking techniques used. We tried many veggies in a way we hadn't before.

Wonderful place to just be, not only for work or having a coffee. We had a yoga class, breakfast and dance in the morning, great start of the day! Everything is so nicely decorate and sustainable, beautiful story about the levels of the building, start at the undercurrent, Oceans below.

A discovery tour of beautiful vegan dishes accompanied by excellent wines. Staff were friendly, warm and enthusiastic. We had a great experience.

Fabulous restaurant, lovely seating, not to close to other tables, with intimate nooks. Lighting creates a wonderful ambiance. The food is wonderful presented, very tasty, and not cliche vegan, with great inventions like mustard seed caviar. The dishes are small so 4 or 5 course is very doable if you are not a big eater. And that gives you the joy to enjoy a wide variety of flavours. It reminds me of the superb restaurant Terra a Terra in Brighton UK. The drink menu is also excellent for non-alcoholic beverages and if you like a hot drink with a different kick than caffeine. Re-using your tea a second round for a 1€ refill is sympathetic. And free table water in Dopper bottles is a nice touch. So funny I forgot it is all plant based so asked for non-diary milk for the pink guarana latte. I am so conditioned to ask for an exception were here it is the norm. Great experience for 'normal' eaters, and an absolute fiesta for a diverse group with vegetarians, non-drinkers, and pregnant people. The staff is friendly and helpful, and attentive. So for us a definite restaurant to recurrently visit. An absolute gem. Oh and loads of parking options for bikes, walking distance from the station, and a carpark.

Für den Preis fanden wir das Essen ehrlich gesagt nicht lecker genug. Wir hätten uns mehr gewünscht als einfach nur Gerichte mit Gemüse. Der Starter mit dem Sauerteig Brot war sehr lecker und das Dessert ebenfalls. Alles dazwischen hat uns nicht "besonders" umgehauen. Insgesamt fehlte es an Protein und Kohlenhydraten, aber nach 5 Gängen macht natürlich auch fast ausschließlich Gemüse satt...Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, tolles Ambiente. Abends Reservierung dringend empfohlen.

We went on a Saturday night for a 5 course meal and had the most amazing experience! The food, atmosphere and service are all extra great. They also served extra sides and with every bite we were met with an explosion of flavours, each one more complex and more delicious! The atmosphere was also very welcoming, with soft jazz music and soft lights as well. We also got a very cosy table - all made for a very intimate dinner. The service was also superb. Definitely recommend and definitely will come back and try some more from other chefs as well.

We went to Mama Gaia for a family birthday celebration, based on a friend’s recommendation and oh yes it delivered. Incredible food and experience given to us by a skilled and caring restaurant team. 100% recommended. Thank you Mama Gaia and see you again!

I left the restaurant being somehow still hungry. :-( • Dishes are pricey. Imho, considering that food is the most important part of a restaurant experience, this was all in all an average to below-average value for money.

We had the 5 course tasting menu...absolutely delicious! Couldn't fault it...some beautiful flavours! We were warmly welcomed on arrival and found all the staff to be lovely and friendly. A really great experience all round!

A hidden gem! But it's such a great place to sit (and work) and enjoy a nice vegan menu.

Was excited to try out Mama Gaia, but it was a rather underwhelming experience. Looking aside from prices & speed of service (something we are getting accustomed to in general) - both dishes we tried were tasteless, undercooked and whilst displayed as main course they were tiny portions. (Think 1/2 of a zucchini with a table spoon of potato mash) i got my soup served together with the main, and the staff thought it was normal like that. Eating coldish undercooked zucchini just doesn’t do it for me 🫤 Note this was lunch service, judging by the other reviews dinner is possibly better.

Incredible creative and delicious food. We had the 5 course menu which was pure Joy! Also great service and very friendly staff. Can highly recommend them to anyone looking who loves healthy delicious vegan food.

Mama mia…change is is a change but not always for the better. What have you done..3-4-5 courses, that is not offering a choice what to order. Apart from the diner choice we thought staff was challenging the first time we visited, please try to be more service minded or at least let people feel welcome and be polite. The gentleman was really night and day compared to the rest of the staffing, letting us leave with a smile.

What a fun place! I fell from one culinary surprise into another at Mama Gaia and every single course was top notch. I had the 4 course menu and every dish complemented another. When I'm back in town, I'll make sure not to skip this restaurant, and I will bring as many friends as are willing to come with me.

Yesterday I had 4 courses at Mama Gaia with my friend and our daughters. It was surprising and delicious and as a vegan I got to eat new dishes too which is always a treat!! I am so impressed and can’t wait to come back with my husband to do 5 courses on Valentine Day! Ps great service

As a vegetarian not a vegan, I was consistently impressed by the imagination, textures, flavours and colours of the food, immaculately presented. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more delightful. At no stage did I feel this was style over substance and we came away satisfied and happy! Highly recommended.
