👍👍 When you come to Thailand, you must visit the floating market! Amphawa is a good choice. There are many shops on both sides of the river, where you can eat and shop. You can also charter a boat and experience the different perspectives on the boat. If you don’t have the budget, you can spend 60B on... People often mention boat,

When you come to Thailand, you must visit the floating market! Amphawa is a good choice. There are many shops on both sides of the river, where you can eat and shop. You can also charter a boat and experience the different perspectives on the boat. If you don’t have the budget, you can spend 60B on a boat to see the fireflies. It takes about 40 minutes to get on the boat, and you can see a lot of fireflies. With the price of the boat ticket, it’s worth it~

Amphawa Floating Market, I went early in the morning and the shops were not yet open and not very lively. There were still only a few things for sale. In the past, there were many boats coming to sell things. Now we focus mostly on traveling to temples on the water.

I really like this market. It is local and not very frequented by foreign tourists. You eat very well there if you take the trouble to look a little 😉. It is possible to take a fairly pleasant boat trip. Photos taken during the quiet hours of the middle of the day...

This is one of the things-to-do when you're in Bangkok. Take a tour and experience one aspect of the culture. It is actually a market which you can buy anything and in addition you can also try the boat experience. You can stroll along the riverside which has variety of restaurants.

Parking near the floating market is now completely free of charge. Parking at the temple costs 30 baht. Previously, parking was free. Many people are now saving money. Personally, I think it's too expensive, there's little parking, and there's no supervision for people to park themselves. It's recommended to park outside rather than paying money as well. Easy to get in and out of. In the temple, cars are very difficult to get in and out.
