Well equipped gym with many experienced, professional and friendly instructors. We came as a group training class of 10 students. There were many international students training. We didn’t stay in but there is an option to do so. Highly recommended to take part in an advance level of Muay Thai training.

I was at luktupfah for a month (august-September ). Amazing experience, wonderful people from Grand master woody to jade, Jao, Pako, Poh, master gao, San and the figthers toon, white and komkrabi who made my stay very special and be part of luktupfah. Learned so much about Muay Thai & muay boran ( trainers very knowledgeable, patient and friendly ). Made new friends as well, shout out to Claudio, duri, Damon & KK from Malaysia, and the Italians duo from Napoli! Hope to come back very soon! Khop khun khap many times! Kamil P.

Great gym. Grandmaster Woody is both very welcoming and exceptionally professional. Master Bpu leads all classes with extreme knowledge and patience. Classes are done in both Thai and in English. Ms. Patree is very welcoming and assists at all levels to students, fighters and visitors and explains the courseware with clarity. I have enjoyed my 2 months stay at Luktupfah Muaythai Academy and I would recommend this Academy/Gym to anyone who is interested in following or starting a Muaythai or Muay Boran carrier and also as a fighter.

I went to Luktupfah Muay Thai just for one day in late November, unfortunately, due to being sick with the flu at the time, I did not train. Still, I observed people training, which looked like they were having fun while putting in serious work. Also paid 1200 baht in cash to Jade, and had a brief chat about Muay Thai in general. The accommodation is good, with airconditioning and nice hot shower. If my future schedule has more free time, I would like to return.

I am a lifelong martial artist that owns an Academy on the Northside of Chicago. My trip to Luktupfah was everything I dreamed of in a martial artist adventure and more. My air-conditioned room was clean and the camp has a real family feel. Kindness is the top commodity and Grandmaster Woody, his lovely wife Jill and his rock star daughter Jade Sirisompan lead the way while Kru Ton and Kru Bpu and Kru War lead AMAZING classes! They are patient and clear with their instruction. Even during times when an interpreter was not available; it was barely an obstacle and only made for some laughs and a memorable fun learning experience. As soon as I arrived I ate some bad street food while seeing the gorgeous temples and Patree, the Superwoman that helps with everything, made certain that I had medicine and kept checking on me. Passing the Kru certification course was an amazing experience where I learned a ton! I could have went to any camp and learned how to smash pads better and I am certain I would have had a great time...but here I learned how to be a teacher of Muay Boran, not just Muay Thai. I consider this one of my great accomplishments and I cherish the memories and I hope to return.

Was there for 4 weeks from USA. Woody needs to monitor the training closer. 3 rounds of pads with a trainer. Hardly ever corrected on mistakes, technical aspects etc. Trainer was just going through the motions. After the 3 rounds you are then left to your own devices unless you are a Thai local or a fighter. Boran is something I went all the way from the States for. Mostly just Kata moves for 2 hours. 1 day of actual hands on training when an outsider came to the gym in 3 weeks . It is a friendly place and the food was above expectations, but I can eat, and get my own gym to hold pads for 12 minutes.

The gym is friendly. But the location is next to high voltage electricity which makes it not very recommended.

If you consider yourself experienced, I strongly recommend coming here. The mentor will provide you with a completely new experience and help you understand, improve, and offer valuable insights. You need to have a strong belief and an open mindset to come here and learn. You will gain so much more in the process. If you need someone to talk to during the process, Patree will be there to help you

I went to Luktupfah alone as a stranger, i subscribed for 3 months in the camp and left as a family member with long term vision and support. They are this friendly and warm. Aside from the hospitality, the curriculum is unbelievably rich, no matter how long you stay you will always be learning new information that are not limited to techniques but also history, first aid, thai massage and the list goes on... During my 3 months stay i met many colleagues who stayed in the camp from fighters to tourists, to coaches coming from different countries, exchanging different cultures and styles of teaching and playing Muaythai. It is a very safe and healthy environment to be in.

When I first got here,i was a broken man carrying a broken soul. I got to the lowest of lowest i did, Obsessed in hurting myself as a form of punishment via sports, as i was crawling on the brinked of suicide,i thought of a place that could give me peace,a on elast shot at life to heal, and it spring in my mind.I was at my most peaceful, during my time in luktupfah. And I was right. All of the staff makes me feel like family. The surrounding birds, welcome me with their songs.Tge best descision i ever made!
