I don't understand why everyone is so surprised about this restaurant and the food. A few dishes were really not bad, but there are more of a claim than a result. I would rate 3.5 because 4 would be too much. There is no doubt they aspire to be a Michelin-starred restaurant, but the food and service are not yet at the Michelin-star level.

WOW! An excellent meal which really exceeded expectations. We went for the 8 courses (forgot photos of some) - every mouthful was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The team really hit the brief to deliver Thai flavours in really innovative ways. Top dishes were the king prawn and the biriyani - both really delicious! I found the tamarind ice cream a little challenging on its own, but certainly something I’ve never tasted before and in combination with the cheesecake and sesame snap the flavours really complemented one another. The restaurant’s setting is modern, relaxed, and comfortable and the team were friendly and exceptionally professional. Thank you!

came here to celebrate my wife’s first birthday when traveling overseas. We are not big fans of contemporary fine dining but we had a wonderful Thai taste with artistic food decoration. Especially original fresh local ingredients from the founder’s family farm give the extra ordinary experience.

What a delightful restaurant! Book early to avoid disappointment. Everything worked- the service was there but not in your face and thankfully I was never asked how my food was! The food was delicious, every course unique, well thought out, and executed very well. Over the 7 course, the amuse bouche and the encore dessert plate I would struggle to find fault. The duck was amazing, the octopus risotto playful yet tasty, it just all worked. The decore of the restaurant is lovely and the clear view into the kitchen showed a crew or chefs who were having fun. If I were to have one small bit of feedback it would be that we sat at a large table for 6, holding a group conversation was difficult due to its length. Well done to the chef and owner! Equally good for romantic dining as well as larger groups. Finally well done for managing the dietary restrictions as well.

Nitan is a wonder. First, the food is both perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. From the first bites to the dessert, the whole meal is so thoughtfully composed and completely in honor of the theme (when I went, it was in reference to Mother Nature). Second, the design of the experience is superb: from the elegant and creative plating of the food to the overall ambiance of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Third, the service is truly warm and friendly. The staff was really excited to discuss origins and thoughts behind the food and drinks, something I always appreciate. Amazing restaurant. I'm really glad I had the chance to do.

We have just returned from one of the best meals we have had in the last year. Let's start with the hospitality when we arrived we were greeted with a big smile and careful politeness and led to the table. The first thing that stood out to us was the stunning and minimalist design of the restaurant, not a big place, about 8 tables, an open kitchen, a small bar and a lovely garden. We ordered a 7-course tasting meal. From the first dish to the last everything was just perfect!!! A wonderful story, precise and special flavors Exact wine tasting menu.. and an amazing atmosphere..! I should mention that we celebrated my wife's birthday And also our honeymoon. The great staff treated us with great respect and made us feel special and that the evening was all ours!!! At the end of the meal, the chef approached us at the table to thank us and there is nothing more appreciated than that. Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience and we hope to dine with you again in the future Sending lots of love from Israel ♥️♥️♥️

My wife and I went to NITAN for the 7 course 'train ride' from the south to the northern parts of Thailand, i.e. the 'Flavour Express'. The food was great, as it was very close to the actual dish, not overcomplicating it as many other fine dining restaurants do. But still elevated enough to let us enjoy the experience of thai food. The flavours were on point, intense, complex, but not confusing. I liked how the chefs didn't hold back too much on spicyness as it is essential part to e.g. the curry. We didn't go for the wine pairing so can't review that, the apritifs were great though. Service was attentive and quick, although sometimes a little difficult to understand due to the waiters wearing masks, having slight accent and surrounding noise. All of which I have full understanding for. Decor was very nice, modern, fresh. Pricewise a fair deal I would say. All in all a good 4,8/5 stars with only little room of improvement.

Nitan was by far my favorite eating experience from our whole trip in not just Thailand but also Singapore. Everything was so well done, refined, detail oriented. There is so much care taken with the local ingredients and menu selections. There is really a story behind each dish and why they chose it. Not to mention each dish was beyond delicious with so many elements. The tasting course was a really good amount of food, we were very full by the end. It was perfectly paired with carefully selected natural wines. And all this was beyond affordable. This gives a much more refined and craft dining experience in Phuket and should not be missed! I hope I get to experience Nitan again some day every element of the experience was perfect.

Try the restaurant last night, I was so happy with Thai flavour and some local fruits and greens that i haven't had before. the vibe was cozy fine dine restaurant, very comfortable and nice ambience. I like the wine pairing as well all organic wines were great with seafood dishes. Great that i found them on Michelin guide Thailand and will recommend more friends to come.

Found out about this place online, booked it for a birthday. The food was sublime, really interesting take by Chef Pom on his experience through Thailand's southern train railway journey. While all the dishes was good, we specially enjoyed the grouper and duck. All in all, great good with excellent service. Will strive to be back when the menu changes.

We had 8-course tasting menu and we love how the chef use local ingredients to prepare the dish. The dishes are very innovative and well created.

We went there for a birthday celebration and had a fantastic fine-dining experience. Each dish was influenced by a specific region of Thailand, culminating in this 7-course meal that boasted a wide range of flavours with different intensities. Be sure to make reservations in advance because they have a strict 18 pax per night policy, and it was a full house when we visited.

Everything was a 10 from the moment we stepped in. We were super early for dinner (they start serving at 7pm) but we were still warmly welcomed by the service staff who stopped their internal meeting immediately (sorry!). I highly recommend the 7 course menu as my fav dishes were the 2 that were not on the 5 course 😄 food were all served with perfection, innovative and tasted AMAZING. THANK YOU for celebrating our milestone with us too ❤️

Really enjoyed the 7 course meal from NITAN. The food was amazing with top quality ingredients. Also really liked the story behind this menu and how it incorporates local experiences and traditions. The service and ambience was wonderful, and they also made my birthday extra special. Thanks so much for a great meal and experience!

I went to visit this secluded and intimate restaurant to celebrate a special occasion with my partner. I was really surprised by the Thai fine dining. The tasting menu celebrated the regional cuisines of Thailand. The ingredients were superior in quality. I spoke in depth with the owner, Shir, who clearly had a vision and love for the restaurant. I would highly recommend Nitan for anyone looking a culinary masterpiece in Phuket.

The creativity of Chef Pom and his team is admirable. The blending of Thai ingredients produces delightful subtle flavors to tantalize the palate. The food is beautifully plated and presented.

A unique dining experience in Phuket with a modern take on traditional Thai flavors. Dish concepts were thoughtful and plated elegantly. I found the duck was cooked exceptionally well. The ambiance is enjoyable and the window into the kitchen is a nice addition. However, the dining experience did not feel exciting as most of the courses had a long wait time and portions were no larger than tapas. Service is certainly not up to par with a Michelin star restaurant and there is much room for improvement.
