Great hotel with even better service. The service is what made this a 5 star for me. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Was at this hotel for a wedding and really enjoyed ourselves even though it rained alot. The pools are great, the beach could be better. Great food! The overall location is probably not great if you want to explore around but good if you want to stay at the resort. I got upgraded to a nice big room with my Bonvoy Titanium membership.

We had a large group (multiple families) gathering to spend time together as well as utilize some meeting space. The communication with the resort staff prior to arrival was prompt and detailed. After arrival, we quickly realized the resort was everything and more that we could have hoped for. Our families were spoiled with tremendous service by the management team, restaurant staff, meeting room coordinators, and general resort staff. We stayed in multiple room types, and each room was exactly what we wanted. The pictures and room descriptions online were an accurate representation of each of our rooms. We ate every meal on site during our 6 day stay, rotating between the 3 restaurants, and did not have one bad meal. Great food matters, and Le Meridian Khao Lak offers plenty of high quality food options to satisfy any palate. The staff was proactive in asking questions about what our group needed, helped us think through meal options, and ensured that our meeting room was ready each day. We were given several food/snack/drink options for our meeting room as well. We were blown away by the quality and creativity of the food during our meeting times and it added a lot of value to our time together. Thailand offers many great destinations, but if you don't have a great staff and team of people to provide excellent service, a location can only offer so much. Le Meridian Khao Lak offers the perfect combination of a beautiful resort along with a superb staff to make your next trip and/or meeting all that you can imagine.

Excellent resort and setting. Ideal location to unwind and relax. The service, rooms, restaurants and staff are all 5 star! Spacious rooms and restaurants, large pools and great amenities. We had a very good personal experience with Nu and Nah. Both exceptional F&B staff members who made our stay very special. They were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure to have around. We will be coming back again one day and look forward to it!

Stayed here for 7 nights with my Daughter. We didn't want to leave! Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great. Breakfast has good variety of western and Asian food. Rooms are lovely, clean and modern. We had pool access room. Beach is beautiful and will get better for swimming as weather improves. Only downside is no movie channel so next time I will bring a laptop.

This resort was absolutely AMAZING! We stayed for 8 nights in the 1 bedroom pool villa and it was the most relaxing trip ever! The resort has a lot to offer! From the wide range of Dinning options to lots of different bar setups, there is heaps of variety to satisfy everyone! There were also a lot of accessible activities to do throughout the stay: eg: standup paddle boarding, kayaking, tennis & bike hiding! And not to mention the resort is right on the beach, making it perfect to relax on a day bed and enjoy the beautiful weather! The staff were also absolutely fabulous, from our bartender Chet making our nights so fun to our number 1 go to Tina, who was always ready to help whenever we had questions or needed anything! The staff are all ready to always go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible! I will definitely be returning again! Monique :)

Spend 2 nights here and I was really lucky with the weather! From checking in to checking out I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff is amazing and super helpful. Had some issues with the room and after reporting this they took action right away to get me a new (bigger) room. Facilities are great - especially the swimming pools - although the gym machines are dated. Location is good but also in the middle of nowhere so you need to get a taxi if you want to go out. Breakfast is great and staff there really cares about the customers. Overall I had a pleasant stay here.

Stayed for 6 very enjoyable nights in a deluxe pool access room. Lovely staff, great rooms, 3 big pools, and right on the beach. Would have rated as 5 stars except the service at 2 of the restaurants was below par. Be aware it is 1.5hr drive from Phuket airport but worth it for a great family holiday.

Overall a good holiday experience, but not a 5-star hotel. Service level and food standards can be improved. However, what matters is that it is wonderfully located on the beach and Thailand is an amazing holiday destination. We will miss it.

Great Hotel with nice comfy room and great service. Love the spa packages and the happy hours at 3 different bars. The staff are nice, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast buffet has good variety, but it is very crowded during high occupancy days. Highly recommend, pool access room. Love that we can jump in anytime!! The fitness center is open 24 hours!! That’s also another cool part!! And they have activities all day!! I love the Muay Thai class!! I would say…it’s a must try!!

We've just spent 10 nights here on a family holiday from NZ with our two sons aged 8 and 10 years old and honestly it was the most INCREDIBLE holiday. I cannot speak higher of this place. Firstly the rooms are modern, spacious, light and bright and beautifully clean with the comfiest beds/pillows (and I'm fussy). The facilities are amazing (x3 pools, spa for massages etc, gym, bikes to hire, a few restaurants, shuttle service into the local town) and daily activities to keep the kids busy. Now the food and drinks were amazing - we were on a package deal and ate like kings and queens - cocktail menu is epic. Special mention to the pool bar guys who were great value and to Sam and Esa in the nest who were so kind and great with our boys (Sam taught them a daily Thai word) which will be memorable. The staff were our favourite part of this resort just a real lovely bunch who truly want you to have a special holiday. Would highly recommend and we will be back. From Emma and Charles Wallace.

Plenty of pools to explore. My kid I stayed there for 3 days, and I don’t think we’ve been to every part of the pool maze 😄 They offer a lot of activities, The rooms - fabulous. The common areas of the property could use a facelift. Artworks (of birds on canvas and cheesy murals) in public area I found boring if not tasteless. staff of every department is 5* hotel level!! Breakfast? amazing

The hotel is great and the rooms spacious. The food at the restaurants were great, both the Thai and Western dishes. There were some issues with our transport on checkout, however the hotel subsequently rectified this issue. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend a visit if in the area.

Nice resort in a very quiet location. We visited it in October, and the season was still a bit rainy and wet. The beach is wide and peaceful. The resort itself is very nice and full of activities. In terms of sport activities, the tennis courts are closed and unfortunately there aren’t enough water sports. Only SUPs and canoes are provided. Food and dining is ok, nothing wow.

One of best resort in Khao Lak. Private beach. Nice Pool Access room. I bought the Destination Unlocked package which worth the money. A bit far from town but they have timed shuttle for it. Better if you have own transportation. Will come again

What an amazing amazing hotel and resort. We were treated like royalty upon arrival, each and every staff member is so welcoming and attentive, the staff really made the resort experience 10x better - BIG shout out to the pool bar guys Copter and his buddy - they made our stay. The two of them were the life of the pool bar and everyday it was such a vibe, we made such a deep connection with them. Hope they get the recognition they deserve and get a nice bonus from the hotel. Thank you Le Meridien, you exceeded all our expectations, your staff are fantastic, the breakfast buffet was insane and the entire resort experience was 10/10 - we are very sad to be leaving, but we will definitely be back next time. The weather was also really good in October, you will love this place - a must visit. Thank you.

Our stay here was wonderful, the location is beautiful, the room was clean and the bath tub a dream. The staff was lovely and very accomodating. My partner and I eat plant based and they were super attentive, customizing food from their menus and for the breakfast buffet. Although, to be honest, I would have expected this hotel to have at least one or two fully vegan options (as well as labeled) on their menu. Overall we had a wonderful time. Oh, and they also offer activities such as yoga during the day.

Where to start…. The hotel is decent - good facilities, pool and beach is very nice. Food is edible but quite expensive if you don’t have all inclusive and for that reason I recommend it. Staff is nice and helpful. We had issues from the moment of check-in. We were 3 adults and despite confirmation, prepayment and re-confirmation, when we arrived at 11.20 pm there was only 1 bed. They tried making the sofa a bed but it was unsleepable. We ended up sleeping three adults in 1 bed. Cleaning of the room didn’t happen until 6pm despite us asking for earlier cleaning 2-3 times every day. A lot of time was spend talking to the reception trying to sort out issues. The vacation started to feel like a hassle rather than relaxation. After some struggle the final price did reflect that and for that we are grateful. We did all in all have a nice stay but it was not a five star resort/hotel that I have encountered other places in Thailand and in the Marriott Bonvoy chain in general. It was more of a 3 star, hence the rating.
