Simple, flattish course with generous fairways suitable for golfers at all levels. Good experience. It's still a new place so many things like trash bins aren't available yet. Loved that they provide real towels in toilet and golf cart. Caddies could be improved as they allowed the flights behind to hit while we are still on the fairway and had 3 close calls by some long hitting Europeans. Food at the restaurant could also be improved. Wasnt any good.

From fairways to green condition is good. Layout may be a bit tight for driving shot of each holes. Together with tree that still less and not high, you will heard a lot of FORE during play ;). Layout is so so, not very difficult but also not very fun. Signature hole par3 that have the sea behind the hole, but it is not very attractive as you can not see it clearly from tee-off. Just to take picture on the green. If price is 2,xxx THB, I thinkit is okay if you stay in Phang-nga and want to play golf. But if you stay in Phuket, I think you could find other courses with more fun to play at that price. If you use Garmin golf watch, the course is still not in the list.

Enjoyed playing here immensely especially the interesting greens. A lot of thought has gone into the experience. The buggy with ice-box on the passenger side; touch screen GPS monitor showing yardage real-time or a requested points. Also shows helpful tips like a coming up refreshment stop. Buggy also has small sweat towels. A charge card is given at the beginning so you can pay a sum total when you leave. Changing room very luxurious and overall decor and ambience very VIP. Residents can play at a very reasonable rate so I will definitely be coming again (only an hour from Bang Tao area/45 minutes Boat Avenue).

A top-class golf resort overall. For the more avid golfer, the 18-hole course may not be as fulfilling as the stalwart Blue Canyon or Red Mountain; nonetheless it is certainly fun and forgiving with a suitable amount of water/bunker hazards offset by the generous fairways and lack of tall trees. If you’re into all the tech (i.e. in-cart GPS yardage and digital scorecards), then it’s all there too. The facilities and services more than make up whatever flaws there may be though. The clubhouse is beautiful and the locker rooms are modern - although the tiny criss-crossed digital lockers is unlike all the other golf courses of this tier, as it reminds me exactly of those at Pure Fitness (note to PCPD and Mr. Zeman: we have plenty of spaces here!). The food at The Approach restaurant is quality and a great place to wind down after a round. The pre-grand opening deal is definitely bang-for-the-buck so check it out before then!

Very good course. Unfortunately today, it's a bit soggy cos of the rain. I do expect that at that price, drainage should be better. Course layout is exciting and you don't have to worry about teeing off from the blue and not able to cross the water. I was also expecting there should be more facilities such as sauna, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ask them about the sunset rates after 2.30pm which is very affordable. We completed 18h within 3.5 hrs.

5* golf resort. Absolutely immaculate from when you get out your car to when you leave. Course is testing but fun and in perfect condition when people discover how good this place is they will not be playing the Phuket courses this beats them hands down. Friendly attentive staff. Wish I could be a member here

Took the opportunity to play Aquella as the finale of a 5 course event with friends. We are in the rainy season in Phuket and I was amazed at how well the course had held up and maintained. The course has something for everyone (and a lot of my golf balls as a result). The caddies whilst new (course is only new) were helpful and energetic. There are plenty of food and beverage stops around the course so you can keep hydrated in the tropical heat. Finally, after the round the amazing change rooms allow you to freshen up before enjoying the restaurant. The team in the restaurant are attentive and willingly changed food due to some dietary requirements. A great day at Aquella and if all Phuket courses could be at this standard it would be the go-to golfing destination for south east asia

I’ve played golf in many parts of Thailand and experienced fabulous hospitality and friendly people but this course is in my top five for all aspects of customer service and attention to detail. The course is very new and give the trees a few more years to grow and it will add to the challenge. A great course for all levels of golfing skill. Restaurant was superb and locker room well appointed. Overall a great day out and I will certainly be back soon.
