Staying at Lanta Para Hut was an amazing experience for the following reasons: - Red is an extremely kind and accommodating host. He has a perpetual smile on his face and is always willing to help. Our highlight of the stay was definitely our interactions with him 😊 - All the food was delicious! We had dinner there every night and were always very satisfied. - The location was very peaceful and exactly what we wanted. It gave us a chance to disconnect but was still well located to discover the beauty of Koh Lanta. Needless to say, it was a pleasure to stay here and we can wholeheartedly recommend Lanta Para Hut!

I’ve been traveling SE Asia for over a month now and this remains the best place I’ve stayed. Needed to come back to write a review. The property is tucked away off a quiet road Southern Lanta. The cabins are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Red is such a chill and accommodating host. Every night his wife would cook the most amazing dinners. The location is a great point to rent a scooter and explore the island. As soon as I’m back on Koh Lanta I will be back here!

Lanta Para Hut is a lovely place, away from the crowds, perfectly located to discover Ko Lanta by scooter. The local owners, Red and his wife, are some of the kindest people we met during our trip! The food is delicious and Red’s jokes never failed to put a smile on our faces! Big recommendation!

One of my favorite stays in Thailand! The owner Red is such a sweet soul, helps you with everything and remembers your name. 🫶 even though the Bungalows are further away from the main areas, I loved it there. Maybe even because of that. :) it’s just so nice and quiet and you can rent a scooter there for a good price. The rooms are simple and beautiful and have a fan an AC. Even hot water. I enjoyed my stay here so much, I extended it twice until I couldn’t because it was booked out. :) highly recommended! Thank you so much for everything, I’m so thankful I have met you, Red!

This accommodation is wonderful. Red (the owner) and his wife are a very good team. He communicates with the guests (check in, restaurant service, billing, etc.) His wife manages the kitchen. The food is very good and has same prices like outside restaurants. For drinks we appreciate to recommend the Banana Shake. We love the venue because of the green environment, the clean bungalows with practically facilities and the chill atmosphere at the resort. For us it is the best place to relax and enjoy the nature. If you like to explore the beaches, you can rent a scooter directly with red. Beach, next 7/11 and Lotus Express are only 5 minutes away with a scooter. We can also recommend the cave, which is only 500m away from Lanta Para Hut. We will keep Red in mind because he is such a welcoming, attentive and happy person. I like his professional service. Originally we have booked 5 nights. As we liked the place, we extend for 2 more nights. So after staying 7 days, we almost feel like friends with Red. Hope to see you again! 😊

This place is amazing. Clean, comfy, nicely designed, it has all the comforts yet it isn't pretentious. As mentioned in the other comments Red and his family are wonderful hosts. The food is cheap and delicious. The location is perfect to explore the island by scooter. I'd come back every summer if I could. Worth 10/5 stars.

Lanta Para Hut is a true Paradies. The Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect. In about 5 min u are at the beach. Red is a very welcoming Person and he will help you with everything. And also a cool guy just to chill an talk. The food that his wife is cooking is so delicious. Next time on the island we will be back at para hut again for sure. Thanks for the nice time ✌️

Cozy simple cottage in a middle of the island. Rich breakfast, great cheap dinners. Area is cleaned on daily basis. Owner do this with 110% of his heart, friendly, funny guy who is there for you in many ways. You can rent scooter here, do laundry, he can setup airport transfer, recommend places to see and you can ask him about thai culture. PS: no alcohol is available to buy here but you can bring your own.

Came here for lunch and ended up staying for 4 peaceful nights. The owner Red, showed us some of the best service I’ve received in my entire life. The Huts are beautifully built, with a clean and welcoming energy to them. Red’s wife provides tasty and healthy home style food, for a fair price. The property is well maintained and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay on the island. Red will also have motorbikes to rent for a cheap price. Highly recommended, Thank you Para Hut family. See you soon! J

If there were more stars to give we would give it more! The bungalows are very cozy and private with their own porch where you can sit and relax and listen to the sounds of the birds. Very clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owner (Red) is very outgoing, personable and accommodating with any request you might have. The place is heaven on earth! We stayed longer than we planned originally. We will always come back to Lanta Para Hut. We highly recommend this heavenly place. Enjoy!

Best place we’ve stayed while traveling in Thailand, very cosy bungalows with air condition, in a quiet area. The host, Red is super nice and helped us with everything we needed (literally everything - organizing transportation, choosing cooking school, recommending places to see). Red’s wife is an amazing cook. We really enjoyed our time there :)

WOW this place is really special. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!!! it is: - very clean - very well maintained place - very quiet - well furnished - nice view - air con and fan! - super friendly and helpful owner - Restaurant available - cheap, fair prices you look for something quiet and a bit away from the normal tourist destinations? then you are totally right there!!! we stayed unfortunately just one night. but would have loved to stay longer. very good vibes and really something else!!!!! recommended place !!!
