Phi Phi Island, just off Krabi on the west Thailand coast, though small, is a very beautiful island. It has a rather rocky mountainous area on the northern half and a hilly area on the southern half. The center is narrow but has the boat harbor on one side and a beautiful beach on the other side. In between is the town, which is a labyrinth of narrow streets full of shops, restaurants, and bars. It can be difficult and confusing at first trying to make your way from the harbor to the beach. From Phi Phi you can take various boat tours to beautiful rocky islands with hidden bays (which can be so crowded with tourists that enjoyment is lost) or other places. We opted for a boat trip to Monkey Beach, which is actually on the northern mountain area of Phi Phi, but only accessible by boat. The boats stop on the beach and monkeys decent from the mountains to ask for treats. If you throw food in the water, they will swim out to get it, or climb up on your boat to ask for more. It's interesting to see the monkeys swim. After that, we went on a nearby snorkeling tour. There were many beautiful fish to see. There are various places to stay, from moderate to expensive, so check the discount travel companies, like Agoda, to see photos, location, and prices. Don't miss this lovely island before the seas rise and the center is gone.

Super beautiful island, worth visiting again !

The journey to the islands is nightmares at best. The nightmare starts as soon as the engines of the speed boat starts and last for entire journey. The boat make a big jump and makes a bumps on sea water every minute. Anyone above 50 years or any physical ailments pregnant women shouldn’t take this trip. It seems that all your body organs are coming apart during the entire trip. You are out of luck if there a medical emergency. Absolutely No No

Excellent breath-taking view. Cleanest air, no cars, only electric bikes on the island. Everything fantastic.

One of the most beautiful islands one can think of. It's a very prisitne piece of land & looks surreal. You've to be there to feel the aura.

Best place I've ever been to! Cheaper than going to fiji or Pacific islands ..will be going back!!

beautiful place ,love the nature u can go for snorkelling scuba dive ,swimming at the mid ocean boating n many other ,,,food for veggies will always be a concern live withthe fruits n veggies salad..

Phi phi island is one the relaxation islands. Our last destination was phi phi. We take lunch from here. Phi Phi Island has a lot of activities. Lots of suvenior shops, super shop, bar etc. Phi Phi is the main island. It's probably the centre of phuket & krabi.

I would give more than five stars if Google Maps allowed it. If you are visiting Phuket, this is a must. Many tour operators on the island organise #snorkelling #boat trips. It's well worth getting up early and getting on one of the small boats for a very wet but thrilling experience 🌊 The scenery was unbelievable.
