We were so famished last night that we thought it calls for Southern Indian food so we headed up the stairs of Madras Cafe in Patong and this place really delivered on the level of fulfillment. In fact it was so good that we actually forgot to take photos of the food before we devoured it helplessly! The dosa was amazing and so were the lady fingers and paneer curries. We came out of the restaurant changed and charged. We will definitely be back for more!

Okay food. Tandoori was not great, very dry inside. Prices are high as well if you compare to all the excellent Thai food available nearby. If you come to Thailand try to have Thai food If you crave Indian food you'll end up eating overpriced subpar food like this shop.

Madras Cafe is a casual style restaurant that is specialised in Southern and Northern Indian food. They serve a fine range of Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal, and non-vegetarian dishes. It's located near Bangla road. The taste was good and the service too. It's a little bit overpriced, but considering the Indian food we are getting in foreign country, it's justified.

I am giving a 2 star due to service. We ordered and after all orders were taken the manager came to tell us that there was no lamb. After changing all our orders to chicken the manager came back and said the lamb was suddenly available. Yet again we had to change the order back. After sitting for nearly 2hrs we finally got our food and the waiter had no clue what food was what. The waiter asked us to taste our food to see if it was what we ordered. The food tasted good however the service is poor. Disappointing it could be better.

Descent experience! Ordered dosa and it was nice! Could make the masala of dosa more taster, and add abit of spiceness in the dosa chutney! Restaurant is located near patong beach area! Staff is polite. They have a outer and inner sitting area which is well maintained.

A excellent choice for test Indian Foods in Phuket. Best for who are looking for vegitarian foods in Phuket. It's right beside "Centre Phuket". Good ambience, quality foods and good service.

Near Central Patong you will find this authentic Indian restaurant with real Indian food. The restaurant is located on floor 2 and has both indoor seating with AC and outdoor seating. The restaurant is simple in its interior and during the time we were there some families with Indian appearance came. My Lamb Biryani tasted amazing. One portion is enough for two people. The garlic bread was also good and very delicious.

Very average food. We tried idly fry (3/10) masala dosa (4/10) utthappam (4/10) and masala chaas (5/10) About the uttappam, we ordered onion but they served vegetable uttappam. This place is very close to Bangla road and is more of a tourist trap.

My wife and I love south Indian and visited madras cafe recently and I must say we were very impressed with the food and overall experience. The staff is very cooperative and we were even served food on coconut leaf when requested. Highly recommended

A Delightful South Indian Food Haven - Madras Cafe Patong I recently had the pleasure of dining at Madras Cafe Patong on July 22, 2023, when I was craving some authentic South Indian cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Madras Masala Dosa, a dish that left an indelible impression on my taste buds. The dosa was exquisitely prepared, with a golden and crispy texture that perfectly complemented the flavorful masala filling. Each bite was a sensory delight, and I found myself craving for more just at the thought of it. In fact, the Madras Masala Dosa was so captivating that I couldn't resist visiting Madras Cafe Patong for three consecutive days, so that I could relish the same incredible dish. The consistent quality and tantalizing taste were unparalleled. Aside from the outstanding food, Madras Cafe Patong also boasts a wonderful ambiance. The restaurant has managed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, combining elements of traditional South Indian decor with modern touches. It provided the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The staff at Madras Cafe Patong were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. They were knowledgeable about the menu and readily answered any questions I had, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Madras Cafe Patong is a gem for South Indian food lovers, and especially for those with a fondness for Madras Masala Dosa. The delectable flavors, coupled with the charming ambiance and impeccable service, make it a must-visit establishment. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu offerings.

I ordered a fish tikka and butter roti. The fish was tasteless, watery with no hint of tandoori in it. The only decent thing was the roti and the chutney - it’s disappointing that most Indian restaurants are rubbish in Phuket and a disrespect to Indian cuisine. I ended up going opposite to Kailash Parbat for some real Indian food and had a Dosa instead
