One of the best khao mun gai (Hainanese chicken rice) I've had in Thailand. The fried chicken has a little coriander seed in th batter which is fantastic. For anyone that doesn't speak Thai, Jack (the owner) speak perfect English.

Absolute top quality Hainanese chicken rice. Best I've had in Bangkok's old town

Fantastic Khao mun gai. Jack does a mix combo of boiled and fried chicken if you like to try both. He is fluent in English which helps if you're nervous about visiting. This is authentic Thai cooking. Incredible street food. The sauce was worth travelling for from the UK alone! Go for a walk along the canal after. This meal has made my day, it's a life affirming experience! Oh and that meal was less than a dollar!

I came here in August and it was easily the best that I’ve had in Bangkok! It’s hard to find such good sauce and rice these days. I also really appreciated the generous additional ginger and chilli. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Bangkok again!

One of my two favourite Khao Man Gai Tod restaurants in Bangkok. The quality of the chicken, the nuttiness of the Rice and the sauces all go to make this an excellent and spicy meal for 60 tbt.

Really delicious, came following Gary (roaming cook) YouTube video. Nice sized portion, very tender. Kids loved it. Nam jim sauce is perfect.

60 baht for soup, rice, boiled chicken and grilled chicken. If you’re health conscious, you can ask Jack to remove the skin. Tasty and the chicken weren’t dry but juicy and tender.

Best chicken rice I ever have had. And Jack is such a nice person. Speaks great English and even said goodbye in Swedish. Recommend everyone near this area to visit him.

Second time lucky. First I came about 3pm and wasn’t there. This time round 10.45. There it was sitting as seen on tv as they would say. The portion was perfect for that time in the morning as I’m usually a small breakfast but we are in Thailand. Hainan chicken with rice. Succulent pieces of chicken with brown rice and clear radish broth/soup. Soup was really nice and seasoned nicely. I loved this dish. I normally have soya sauce with it and they had a thick sauce which sent for me. It like a sweet sauce almost like treacle taste. However, he did have a chilli sauce and ginger condiments. So yes very nice and wasn’t disappointed. Nice one.

Jack's dishes were one of the best in-game. His chicken rice was blown me away with high-quality rice and the juiciest chicken. Two big thumbs up.

Fantastic find! The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. The chicken rice was good and only cost me 40 baht for a full lunch.
