I attended a dinner at this restaurant a couple of days ago, and I must say that their attitude towards food quality and commitment to service excellence made me ponder about how to write this food review. Overall, the food I ordered that night was incredibly delicious. First of all, the bread was fantastic, and if I wasn't worried about getting too full for the main course, I would have definitely ordered more. The pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it didn't have any unpleasant pork taste (which I'm sensitive to, so I really appreciate this). Another appetizer I tried was the off-menu Tong Yum soup with tiger prawns. I loved it so much that I ordered an extra portion. The Tong Yum soup was rich and flavorful, and it was served with thin crispy slices on top, which was a unique and delightful touch. For the main course, I ordered 'What the Truffle' with orechiette pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the combination of black truffle and mozzarella cheese was just right, creating a well-balanced and delightful dish. I also tried the Satay beef, which used Australian Angus beef dry-aged for 150 days. The beef was cooked slightly more than I prefer, but it would have been perfect with a bit more tenderness. If they could use USDA prime beef, the beef flavor would be even richer, which would be perfect." However, I must give praise to the satay sauce, as it was the most delicious satay sauce I've ever tasted I also ordered red wine, white wine, and cocktails. The cocktails were outstanding, and though I love Italian wines, their wine list didn't quite match my preferences.

Nice homey fusion restaurant. Nice service and good ambience. We tried chapter 4. I’d recommend more of the Western dishes, the scallop fresh pasta was great. Crispy pork and the waffle (home made) were also very nice. The duck dish is somewhat normal. Highly recommended and would come back to try more dishes.

Everything was okay but I many times have been to the places that did better in the same price range. I liked the creativity and the concept of time they used, but some dishes to me needed more balance in flavours and the rest tasted okay but nothing special. Loved the cocktails. The service was on the good side but too good that can make some people feeling awkward. I even needed to ask the staff to leave me alone since I got an important call from work after paying and waited outside for the car, which he refused and that caused me to the need to cancel the call and get the bike to just leave as soon as possible. Sometimes great service means you listen and respect the choices of your customers.

Absolutely Amazing!! We have made a reservation as a family for first time at Tense Bkk. Once we attended in the Restaurant, first impression was a welcoming service from the staff, decoration, ambiance and the cleanness of the restaurant. Staff are super friendly with kids. The food that we had, it was in Chapter 6. The concept of food is so amazing also nice presentation, so creative, well explained in every dishes, quality of ingredients and Taste absolutely delicious. We have ordered many dishes aswell Tense signatures. First serve was Bread Choux Provence with balsamic in Olive oil. Then come with appetizers, Crispy pork which tasted soo great , Tom Yum Kratong Thong was so aromatic with all thai herbs. Continually, salad fresh Tomatoes with Burrata cheese which was so creamy and Tense Salad with tender chicken breast and Masala dressing. Following main course, the highlight was River Prawn (Surat Thani) together with spaghetti, butter garlic oil. That is a must!! The Prawn is really fresh and tender. Also White Seabass with spicy sauce is really well cooked. The skin of fish is so crispy while the fish meat still juicy together with spicy sauce. It went so well. Another Tense signatures dish, PRESENT Tense Burger with tender pull pork and super delicious sauce. YUMMI! Dessert , we have ordered Snowball in Winter ( I-tim-Bua-Loi). It's so delicious. Our Kids loved it aswell. Last but not least we had House blend Sunrise Coffee Latte. It made our meal so perfect wonderful. With fresh ingredients, super services and great taste. It's valuable with the price. The restaurant has place for car parking. I would Highly recommended Tense BKK and to make a reservation.

First impression is the exceptional service. Staffs were welcoming, very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated, it looks neat and clean yet cozy. Food wise, it was good overall but a bit pricey. We ordered Sourdough avocado bacon & truffle paste, Brioche my day (shrimp) and Silky Valley - an off-the-menu pasta homemade pasta in charcoal cream sauce topped with scallop. I especially loved the brioche! Coffee is also amazing. They have this Honduras blend which is one of my favorites so extra points given here 😁

Creative Thai Fusion food restaurant. They create original Thai dishes into modern cuisine. Taste are good. Ingredients are fresh and well cooked. Homemade Bread are really good. My favorite is Pasta dish and Fish. Portion is not big so it's good to try more menu. Staffs can communicate English well and Menu are in English. Credit card is OK. Reservation is recommended. They located deep inside not in the main road.

Absolute delight! I love the Sunset beans coffee, cld really taste the whisky of the roast. This is our 2nd lunch of the day hence we ordered a Foccacia and Chicken Pla to share. The focaccia was very fresh, the accompanied ingredients such as kale really goes very well with the running yolk on top. The Chicken Pla was fry to the optimum temperature, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The tom yum style sauce, flavorful and rich, it goes so well with this dish. The marinated tomatoes really blew us away. It was sweet and cooking to end off this dish.

Had an amazing experience at Tense Bkk! Definitely a must visit if you're a lover of great food and welcoming experiences. The staff made me feel right at home. The food was simply exquisite, from beginning to end. I believe their thought out plates cater to all pallets! So make sure to explore their wonderful inventive menu! - Jacqueline G

We had a 12 PM reservation done through CHOPE. But arrived early at 10.45 am and had a leisurely 2 hours brunch. Very welcoming service from the team, since it was a quiet morning, Khun Book passionate introduction and explanation of Tense concept, the menu, planning of the restaurant and highlights of ingredients. We love his recommendations and ate appetisers, burgers, desserts and the best coffee. Delicious delicate subtle cooking, food looking deceptively simple…but taste and flavourful use of spice so balanced. Some reviews have thought the cost a little high…but i feel the kitchen effort, every course enjoyable, the interiors ambience and service is worth it. Thank you for a wonderful morning. By the way, we found Tense.bkk by chance on Google map, this is a nice local neighbourhood to explore.

Hidden gem in the are. Foods were nicely decorated, well explained by the staff and also tasted great. Excellent service. Homemade bagel, coffee caramelized sauce Tense burger and Plum dark chocolate wafer were highly recommended. Convenient parking and good atmosphere.
